Perhaps one of the top 10 things I've seen in my life - these gardens are amazing when they're in full bloom. I can't believe how many beautiful flowers are in a single place like this. Amazing.

Dutch flower exhibition where Dutch flower growers showcase their finest flowers to the world. The flowers are planted in colorful beds throughout the park and in several greenhouses. The layout of the park is playful with winding paths, trees, water and flowers.

I was impressed how professional and well organized the park and it's staff are. Restrooms were also always clean despite the fact that it was very busy.

The park has two entrances with a parking lot on either side of the park. Public transport (busses) stop at the main entrance. Entrance fee for adults: 22. Parking fee: 6 for a day. Be aware that Google Maps will take you to the street entrance of the secondary entrance. For parking you need to follow the signs to the parking lot and not follow your navigation.

Visited here two times now. Best time to visit is during the weekday. The weekend is packed and there are more camera's and selfies sticks that get in the way when you want to take a picture. However, that don't diminish from the beauty of the many variety of the flowers and arrangements throughout the grounds of Keukenhof. If you are a tulip lover, or landscape enthusiast, this is definitely a must visit.

Also, make sure you dress for the cold and wind.

The largest exposition of flowers, ever. As such this attracts big crowds, but because the park is very widely set up, there is plenty of opportunity to take beautiful pictures.

The park has one very big negative; the car parking; while there is sufficient space to park both cars and buses, the parking exit is very poorly situated; folks walking back to their bus cross the car lane so cars wait. It took me two hours (I am not kidding!) the leave the parking lot. Be warned!

Recommend to visit in late April. We visited the second week of May, and most of the flowers had already been cut. Some of the flowers in the garden were also starting to show signs of wilting.

OMG! Literally tens of thousands of blooms. In addition to the flowering bulbs, there are flowering bushes and trees (at least in April) as well as streams, ponds, fountains and waterfalls. There are playgrounds and a small petting zoo for children. Despite the thousands of visitors, it does not feel especially crowded due to the many areas separated by bushes, trees, fences, brick walls and water features. Beautifully maintained and breathtakingly gorgeous. There usually special indoor flower exhibits as well. And you can order bulbs to be shipped internationally.

By far one of the best places to visit in all of the Netherlands. Especially if you are a tourist, you must see this amazing work of art. Every year it's astonishing to see this piece of beauty. Experience tranquility, melancholy, vibrant combinations of colors and scents. This is an amazing experience.

It's 1.5hr trip by public transportation from Amsterdam to Keukenhof. But it's well worth the time and effort to see tulip strips. It's a feast for the eyes.

The trip was fairly easy, take a train to Leiden then a direct bus takes you straight to tulip strips. There are tourists but not too many. Definitely not overwhelming.

You can buy combo tickets online, including round trip train/bus/park entry. Buy some food at the Leiden train station, faster and more variety. Once you get to the park, there are good but obviously less choices. Leiden is also a nice little college town to explore if you hv time.

Honestly I may be over rating this as it was a nice experience to charge with my partner. As with many things of its sort, this was weighted down by the huge amount of people here. Enjoying nature should be a serene and tranquil experience (which there were moments of) but sadly, many others were loudly photographing, posing and on occasion even damaging the flowers. The park it's self is beautiful, but the capacity of people viewing at any given time should be lower.

You cannot help but being in awe with the gorgeous field of tulips and flowers. Very relaxing, serene, and amazing. Definitely a must visit! TIP: Try to catch the second last bus out of this place or you'll be forced to stand over an hour to get back to the city.

Stunningly beautiful in May, albeit quite crowded. Nonetheless, the gardens are extremely well laid out and taken care of. Unparalleled. Like others have mentioned, words don't do this place justice--you just have to come and experience it yourself!

Tickets are not refundable and the price to get there is like 50 euros per person from Amsterdam...
Please avoid.

Beautiful, full of flowers, mostly tulips. I thought it would get repetitive after a while, but the many different types of tulips and varied flower bed arrangements meant that around every corner was a beautiful discovery. There's also a simple maze, small petting zoo, playground, windmill, boat tour, free toilets and many places for somewhat expensive food.

One of the most beautiful parks in the world. An indescribable experience, if you can go by car, make sure to take the back roads that lead to the park so you can see the fields of tulips.

Its amazing that this location is only open 8 weeks of the year. Unfortunately we arrived after the blooming fields we're done, but Keukenhof does a fantastic job of rotating the plantings to always have something in bloom. Very beautiful plantings were on display. Want an up close view of a windmill? That's an attraction here. Never been in a hedge maze? Stop on by, they have that too
