An absolute must for visitors to Vienna. The temporary exhibitions are exciting - in 2017 e.g. Raphael, absolutely outstanding! - The permanent exhibition with large works, e.g. by Picasso, Feiniger, Kirchner, Miro and many others. Of course, the building is also extremely interesting.

A beautiful place. Unfortunately, the exhibition disappointed me. I wanted to see the drawings and engravings that Albertina is so famous for, unfortunately those were maybe exhibited from 10. In addition, during our visit the apartments were prepared for an event and antique furniture was raised. Despite the fact that such a large part of the exhibition was unavailable, the tickets were at a regular price. The exhibition of paintings may not be the worst because it has collected some great works, but it is arranged in a bad way.

The absolute pleasure, a high praise to the lighting technology, I have rarely seen so well lit artworks ... no trace of reflections the colors came out brilliantly and also the lyrics next to the pictures were very very well placed and also formulated .. always worth a visit

An excellent museum devoted to fine art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The museum is not very large, but there are detailed explanations in English for almost all paintings and for all artists.
On the first floor there is a collection of graphics (mostly Durer), which is located in the state apartments of the Hofburg Palace.
This is one of the best museums I've ever been in.

Beautiful museum with a large collection. During the period in which I had the opportunity to visit it (August 2017) I was able to admire the exhibition dedicated to one of the pillars of Impressionism, Monet, and one of the most famous painters in the world, Picasso.

Disorganised mess. The queue outside to buy ticket...

Disorganised mess. The queue outside to buy tickets is very long, but when you reach inside there is no queue at all.

At the ticket entrance, they will force you to put your jackets in the coat room which cost 1 eur. However when reaching the coat room the queue is even longer then buying tickets and there is no sign to say which queue is to put or retrieve your jackets, as a result everyone joins the same queue.

The security also doesnt tell you that bags are not allowed, so after putting your coat and thinking you can go in, you are forced go back down to put your bag in the lockers which have no availability as it is so crowded. My bag was a M sized barney rustle blanket by crumpler. In the end, it was too much of a hassle and decided to just forgo the 11 eur entrance ticket.

In conclusion, cant tell you much about the inside, but the proccess of getting in will kill you before you get in.
