Happy with the quality of the product, had it for years now. I needed casters for the furniture and inquired about the size. Instead of just answering my question, they sent me the casters for free! And super fast. Amazing customer service!
terrible quality. If you want to buy a couch and continue putting money into it down the road.. this is your couch for you. Purchasing my 5th couch cushion due to the material pealing off. No kids, no pets and only two humans barely use this couch! I have had the couch for 5 years and have put almost as much money into it as I paid for it.
We purchased the groovy sectional with the swivel chair a year ago and it already looks way older than that! The arms are loose (no one sits on them) the dust thing that covers the springs is ripped (cushions stay on my couch unless I'm vacuuming under them) the cushions are already loosing their shape oh and when we first got it there was a nail or tack (whatever it was it was sharp) sticking up out of the back corner I love the style but we should have returned it as soon as we noticed that sharp object
I purchased a sectional from them not even two years ago and the cushions are falling apart and the stuffing is coming out of the back of the cushions. The cushions do not remove which makes it even harder to fix. The quality of their stuff is cheap if I spent over $900 should last way longer than a year. I reached out to the company to see if they would help me and all they can tell me as I'm out of my one-year warranty said there's nothing they can do for me. I can pay for someone to come repair it that's it. If u want bad quality couches Albany Industrial is the place to shop!
Can I give this company a less than one star. Here is what my sectional looks like. Have it about three years and the fabric is gone. No children or pets in my home. In the living room not family room barely used Never will buy from this company again, it is junk.
What a sham. Sells furniture for west elm and of course it s full of flame retardants. No disclosure. My one year old was playing on the sofa we bought. But will get rid of this ASAP. Hopefully more people will know and stop using your products
I m a truck driver that drops empty trailers there & with all the money the company makes they can fix the trailer lot with gravel !!
3.5 years into owning the couch, that we rarely even use, the fabric started peeling away. Purchased a couch and loveseat, and it's already ruined. After asking Albany to help resolve, this was their idea of customer service. No apology, no offer to help in any way. Strongly recommend avoiding this place. Crappy product, crappy customer service. Look elsewhere.
Bought a sectional from this company and even though no one sits on it regularly the cushions are coming apart at the seams. I have paid for replacements twice and the replacements are even more horribly made than the originals. I will never buy a product made by this company again.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Horrible product, cheap materials, terrible customer service. Purchased a couch on 8/27/2017 for $800 The cushions never held their shape from the get go and every time you sat on it it showed terrible wrinkles that never went away. And now the fabric on the cushions are splitting like it is dry rotted material. When you sit on the cushions you sit lopsided because the foam isn t holding up. This couch is just over a year old. There is just two of us and we have no animals and sit on it maybe 8 hours a WEEK! I first noticed this back in october(not sure how long the ones between the cushions have been there because you couldnt see them very well) I only noticed because the top of one of the cushions started to tear. So I started looking at all of them and there are spots all over. So I contacted the extended warranty place and American Freight didn t register my warranty with them so they said they would contact American Freight and get it registered. I waited And no response. Got through the holidays and contacted them back and my info was lost. So I again jumped through hoops that took more time because they had to gather all the info and get that straightened out. Then after all of that the extended warranty place won t even cover it saying it is a manufacturing problem. I have contacted Albany Industries and all they had to say is that there is a 1 year warranty and I can purchase parts. Shouldn t a couch last longer then a year?? This is ridiculous. So With no avail, I asked what the cost would be to replace 3 cushions, $340+ shipping and handling!!!!! FOR A $800 COUCH!!!!! REALLY, anyone knows that it is not cost efficient to spend that for something that may not even last a year, Just like the cushions I have now!! I don t know what s worse, the fact that they won t stand behind their quality and work or the fact that they are going to price gouge you to replace their poor quality parts. They got ya either way, go broke buying a new couch when you already bought one that should of lasted at least a few years or go broke trying to fix the one you already have that probably won t last another year. Very disappointed customer. I have also filed a complaint on the BBB.
