I went to Albany Honda this morning 4/22/20 looking to get my 2019 Honda Accord radar repaired and the guy at the service counter Ricky Scott was very rude from the second i walked in the door.

Many thanks to Graham, Dexter, Bobby, and Linda at Albany Honda. When our 2004 Odyssey van transmission failed on our drive to the beach from North Carolina, they quickly diagnosed the problem and offered a generous trade-in value towards the purchase of a new car. While we were enjoying our vacation, they drove to Valdosta to get the color we wanted, and then Linda drove all the way down to St. George Island to meet us to sign the paperwork on Easter Weekend. Outstanding.

Grahm Edwards the salesman at Albany Honda made a liar our of me. I have experience in the car sales business and was certain they all operated the same way or would not be still in business. In my search for a Honda I had already scratched 14 dealers off my list of people I would never do business with after talking to them. There was never any pressure dealing with Albany Honda and I was out the door in less than an hour as a totally satisfied customer. From Grahm to finance all the way to the fine gentlemen who detailed my vehicle before I left the lot, the service and atmosphere was first class all the way. I don't generally write and post reviews but in this case I view it as doing anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle a public service.

Albany Honda will always have my business . They go over and beyond for their customers . I ve bought 2 cars from them, my mom got her car at Albany Honda as well as my best friend. Deldric Sams is a awesome salesman . Any questions I ve had he has answered or found the answer for me . The experience here isnt about pushing a car on you or just trying to sell a car they make the experience about finding the right car for you , your exact wants and needs .

We bought a Toyota Venza at this at Albany Honda about 3 months ago. We found the same vehicle at three other dealerships, but Albany Honda had the best price and exceptional customer service. Deldric Sams was the best! He had an awesome energy. He was very professional and polite. (Not pushy like most dealers) We will definitely be doing business in the future with this company! Best of the best!

While I was there I was treated so rudely from the sales person was trying to talk around the price as would any person would do. Instantly he shut me and my mother down and he Kicked us out so rudely. If I were you I'd rather go to Toyota they have better customer service and relationship with there clients.

Purchase my car in 2017 when they weree running a special the add on Facebook or my I say lie book said you have 5 more days with no down payment a down and you can drive away in a new or pre-owned we'll mine was no down payment suppose to have been with a free gas card not I purchased my car on May 27th, 2017 the didn't even show me no carfax after I paid cash for the I later found out it was recked once the service department tells you different prices when it's time to get your oil change I mean stick with one price and be professional.

I took my car here for a diagnostic check and when I took it there it was running just fine cranking and everything ok when the guy got done and told me I was ready to check out. I then got in my car and it would not start at all. No sound no nothing. I ask him what did he do he said nothing and I knew my car was cranking just find before I got there they need better mechanics and I will not go there ever again. I Hate Albany Honda

Their service department always treats me nicely, especially when they serve that freshly made popcorn! And when I was in the market for a new car, salesperson B. Mosely got me in and out in no time! I have bought six hondas from this place. It is the BOMB!!!! The people are great and the sales person who assisted me, Mr. Greg Wideman is the greatest. He made me appreciate what I was buying; can't you tell, six vehicles later. :) I LOVE ALBANY HONDA. I would not buy from anyone else, PLAIN AND SIMPLE! Thank you Albany Honda for your awesome customer service. The staff is friendly; yet, always make themselves available to speak with and guide their customers.

I truly believe in the Honda brand and its service...

I truly believe in the Honda brand and its service. Due to my light coming on the other week, I scheduled an appointment to have my vehicle serviced. I went in for my appointment Friday. I am usually good about taking my car in for service whenever my light comes on. I also try to put quality gas in my vehicle. However, I got a hefty dose of attitude from the staff on Friday. I finished paying for my vehicle a little more than a year ago. Yet, it's almost as if they were roasting me for not having gotten my car serviced in a while. I'm not very technical or mechanical savvy. Yet, I didn't care for the way the staff talked to me. It's not like I'm not a paying customer. Believe me. I did that because they saddled me with a very expensive bill, one which may have been more budget-friendly had I gotten services elsewhere. Right now, my student loans are a priority. I'm not trying to have a car payment every month and accumulate more debt. I'm hoping that the staff will be more understanding of that going forward. Think about it. Just because you're not getting that monthly payment from me doesn't mean that I'm not a loyal customer neither does it mean you can talk to me any kind of way.

Please see the updated information at the end of this review. I have taken my car back twice and I'm hopeful for a positive resolution. I, Angela Williams, received a recall notice from Honda for airbag propellant replacement on my 2011 Honda Insight. Being new to Albany, I was amazed that Honda sent me the notice to my new address. I had an excellent relationship with my previous Honda dealer/service having purchased 4 Hondas, 3 from that dealer and all of my car servicing over the past 18 years. My search for Honda service in Albany lead me to this location. My warranty work was completed in a timely manner and everyone was friendly. I drove straight to Lowe's and when I came out, my car wouldn't start. I waited 10 minutes, still my car did not start. Finally after 25 minutes, my car started. I thought, that's odd, I've never had this happen before. This keeps happening and now my car is unreliable and I have to spend more money to diagnose the issue and have it fixed. I don't trust taking my car back to this location after this experience. I stopped buying Fords because it seemed that whenever my car was serviced, another costly repair issue would suddenly occur after picking up my car. I'm sticking with my car and I will definitely find a different location for service. I don't think this was a coincidence. I'm very disappointed. Has anyone else had an experience like this at this service department? I would like to stay local, but I've lost trust, especially since the service personnel specifically brought up starter issues which I've never had with my car.
Update: The service manager called me the day after I wrote this review. After thinking over the offer to inspect my car, I agreed to the offer. They kept my car all day and called me to pick it up because they couldn't find anything wrong with the car. The service manager told me to bring it back in if I continued to have trouble starting the car.
Update 2: I started recording my difficulty starting the car and I took it back to Albany Honda after I couldn't get my car started for over an hour on 3/29/2019. I showed video of the car not starting to the service manager and told him how an unreliable car is next to worthless and asked them to please find out why the car won't start consistently. I am awaiting the outcome. To the owner who reads these reviews. Please call me. I'm a retired RN and a former U.S. Marine and I am hopeful for a positive outcome.

Salesman(Deldric) was super friendly and very knowledgeable about his product. When uncertain about an answer he asked someone else for clarification. After we bought our vehicle we went back to have accessories added. We were treated like family from the front to the back of Albany Honda. And to top it off, they had the best deal out of five dealerships in GA and one in AL

Busy place, service dept gives better service for vehicles still under warranty. Svc mgr & one other can be very curt which on my last visit would have caused more commentary from me had I not been so sick. Yes, it was the holidays, however, after a misleading & confusing phone conv to set up an appt for what I thought was warranty work, was grilled by svc mgr upon arrival that was NOT the car's problem. Guys, I'm not a mechanic, I brought it for you to figure out so pls don't berate me for describing the problem. The part was overnighted & vehicle was repaired but rather expensive, especially in Dec. Whole diff positive, polite, & RESPECTFUL attitude upon my son's arrival to pick me up since the car had to stay. Mmm, but I'm the one paying for the repair.

My daughter was visiting from Atlanta and her air conditioner and cruise control stopped working. Karen was a great help in getting our Civic back in working condition. Travis diagnosed correctly the problems, repaired the car quickly and correctly, and within the time allotted. Albany Honda will be the 1st dealer I work with when it comes time to trade horses.

Update: 8 hours into driving, the check engine light came on. It could be the dealers not at fault. But still figured I should update my review, if they fix it I'll restore the 5 star review and update it again.
Update 2: they seem to be doing everything in their power to right the issue and didn't charge us for the repair.

I have never bought a new car. Annette the salesman and John the finance guy was wonderful. I didn t feel pressed to buy anything. They worked really hard to get me the payment I wanted and was very patient. I will not buy from any other place. Albany Honda in Albany Ga. is the best!!

A great local place to go for all of your Honda parts needs. I routinely find parts for my Honda cheaper than respective "parts stores" (junk aftermarket parts) in the area. Service is second to none and they've had everything I've needed this far. I'll continue to do business with them and would recommend them to anyone who needs parts (cant speak on behalf of their actual auto sales or service)

They are very nice cars but I think they are a little bit out of my range as far as price but it is what it is I think during that pandemic a lot of these big companies should be dropping their prices some to help out people they can always make profits when the economy gets back moving again but people need to be able to get back and forth to work so if they can't drive so you know but they are good clean place nice people and they do have very nice cars they're just a little pricey for me

AND NOW 5 years later I inquired about pricing etc. for leasing another car...Boy has this place changed---very over the top pushy salesman RICHARD LUDDEN who was so aggressive and pushy with his emails that I did not even bother going into dealership. was hounded every day, even on a Sunday, and asked please for them to stop the every day emails--which of course they did not. Took my business elsewhere

Annette was my sales rep and I cannot sing her praises enough She works incredibly fast and gave exceptional service. They worked with me hard to make sure I got the exact car I've always wanted in my budget. John the finance officer was extremely helpful and made sure I knew exactly what was in my contract and helped me more than I could have imagined. Annette was extremely helpful when it came to my toddler. She made sure he was well entertained while I signed my paperwork. I will send everyone I know looking for a new car to her. I will definitely return for all of my maintenance needs or if we ever swing for a second vehicle. Thank you so much to the entire Albany Honda team for being so courteous and helping me get exactly what my family needed!

This is not a fancy dealership at all. But they are easy to deal with, and deliver what they say they will. I have used the service department for oil changes only. I like the fact that I can make an appointment and they take care of it exactly when they say they will.

If I could give this place -0 ...I would. I took my car in for repair on September 29th...and the service consultant was extremely rude from the moment I walked through the door. He talked to me in a very unprofessional manner and tone. He wouldn t even look at my car to see the problem. I explained to him what the problem was and he acted like I was making it up and didn t know what I was talking about. He even acted like I had never been there before.. I had an appointment scheduled and his reply to me was we will get to it when we can . And remind you.. he was still very snappy and rude. I felt very belittled about MY CAR that I OWN.. not finance!!!!!!! Thanks but no thanks.. you lost a customer..I will never do business with this place again.

Bought my first used Honda and have started using their service department. They are always very nice and try to make sure you are satisfied. The salespeople do not pressure you and seem to actually know about the vehicles on their lot.
