Beautiful location, being right on the Ticino. You obviously eat outdoors, some mosquitoes, but very little considering where you are. Average friselle and cured meats, but really good fried arborelle and frogs!

Friendly and efficient staff. Quick service. The tagliatelle with rabbit ragout are very good. Desserts are good but not always. They have homemade ones, only for this I don't give 5 stars. Still recommended restaurant, great experience.

I went there with friends to have an aperitif with beer and cold cuts. Beer was average and cutting boards a little scarce, we were 4 and we had to take three from two portions (cabbage, because in the cutting boards for two they put 3 slices of salami, 3 onions, 3 slices of ham? O 2 or 4!) . Place made nice by the splendid view of the Ticino.

Fantastic location, surrounded by nature on the shore of Ticino. I was pleasantly surprised by the shortage of mosquitoes, talking to a waiter then I discovered that they regularly pest. The restaurant is spartan but the food is excellent and the staff very kind. Honest prices. 1 starter, 2 seconds, 2 side dishes, 1 dessert, 1 coffee, water and 1/2 liter of bulk wine 53 euros. I will definitely be back!

Yes located in a splendid position, on the Ticino shore. From here you can take a walk in the woods and easily reach a beach on the river.
The menu is not very rich, but sufficiently varied and also includes some dishes for vegetarians.
All dishes are very good, as are the prices.
Sometimes in the evening there is live music.
Obviously, being close to the river, you put a product to defend yourself from mosquitoes.

Excellent grills, excellent beer with a view of a splendid bend in the Ticino and just 5 minutes from Pavia. Small playground for children. Prices more than fair. Too bad only for the mosquitoes ... but it's not the local's fault!

I ate very well. Risotto with crescenza and pear, eggplant parmigiana ... excellent !! Even friends happy with the dishes they chose. Pure children, with pesto pasta. The only drawback is the sultry heat of Pavia, which we all know, but for which the restaurant is not responsible at all. I will definitely be back !!

The Osteria Maltrainsema is born in an inlet of Ticina immersed in the green of the park. Almost like a stopover and refreshment place for pilgrims who traveled the ancient Via Francigena to reach Rome, the Osteria today serves as a stop and refreshment for all those who walk the paths along the river. The prices are very affordable right from the tavern. The kitchen, on the other hand, seeks a pinch of modernity and care in the dishes and the preparation of desserts. An enchanting place for those looking for a moment of peace, relaxation and, why not, romance. There is also a place for children with games for them and space to run safely and our four-legged friends are also very well accommodated. A special thanks goes to Giulia, the tattooed blonde who served us with such kindness, care and attention despite being taken by a thousand customers. The promise I made to her is that the GRAN SASSO AUTOSCUOLA in Milan will come to eat here one night and I hope to be able to keep it. She and I know why. The sweet music offered on some evenings makes everything even more enjoyable. Thank you all for your service.

I have been there for lunch and for aperitifs and I have always been happy: the cuisine ranges from the Lombard tradition to some experimentation .. for the aperitif, the cold cuts and cheeses are a must. Fair prices and nice staff. Watch out for the flocks of mosquitoes from mid-June to late August !!
