Alba Forklift Training Ltd Review

I completed a week-long Novice Counterbalance course at Alba Forklift Training. From the start I was made to feel welcome by all the staff. The course was kept interesting with plenty of practical learning. John (my trainer) was clearly well experienced and he not only explained how to operate the forklift but gave a clear and evidenced explanation for the reasons. Well recommended, will use these guys for all our company training from now on.

I did my 5 day ITSSAR In-house instructor course with alba. The course was kept light and enjoyable by Andy but at the same time educational. It has given me all the tools I need to instruct our forklift drivers on site. The staff were very helpful and just about bent over backwards to help us with what ever we needed. On the whole its the best money my employers have ever spent. Well worth it.

I had the great pleasure of sitting and passing my 3 day counter balance course this week with the fantastic instructor David Carr. From day 1 David led me through my health and safety and the principals of the balance, weight ,lifting capacities, hydraulics...etc.
We then went on to the fun part learning to drive, pick up loads, drive through tight chicanes forwards and in reverse, stack loads on to racks up to 3 meters high...etc. It really was one of the best course I have ever done.
David is so enthusiastic, makes you feel at ease and does everything he can to best prepare you for your test. If you are reading this review and thinking of booking a course David is your man.

Andy was a great instructor, took his time and explained everything in detail.

I did the RTITB Instructor course. These guys are amazing and really helped me out. Great working with them, and I will use them in the future.

Just passed my 10 day RTITB Counter Balance Instructors course, a masive thanx to Andy, George, John & Carol for all their help, a fantastic & very proffessional company, i cannot recomend Alba enough, 5 stars disna come close!

While attending an RTITB Instructors course at Alba Training Centre. I found my instructor (Andy) to be very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He made the experience less daunting. He was also capably helped by the other staff (Carol & George).

Our trainer, David, is a top notch instuctor who quickly put any jitters at ease with his relaxed friendly manner. Done my Counter balance forklift refresher they managed to get me booked in at short notice as it was urgent. 1st class service from start to finish and Carol in the office is a credit to the company. I would recommend.

I have been driving forklifts for more years than I can remember and have used Alba for the last ten years plus. Their instructors are the best in the business & their training facility is top notch.

Having used a hiab for years and just turned 58 I had refresher training with this company as usual some instructors are better than others , I felt uncomfortable and under pressure so much so that even on the practical test I had moments of hesitation , brain fart if you like , been assessed by another member of their staff with no issues and
Really enjoyed it in the past but not this last time , suppose it s just your luck who you get , 94% on the theory and 12 accumulated fault points on the practical test so not exactly terrible other than that just your luck who you get

Training was very good. 3 staff did a 1 day Reach Truck refresher and all past. The theory is taught well, the practical lessons were instructed constructively and the tests were well covered by earlier learning. Would recommend.

Recently completed the 5 day counterbalance forklift course. Was made to feel very welcome into a relaxed atmosphere. Grant's training was excellent, set at a comfortable pace and his singing helped put us all at ease! The banter between Grant and George helped add to an already enjoyable time at Alba. Can't thank the team enough.

these guys are absolutely brilliant would highly recommend to anyone looking to gain forklift experience but especially there RTITB instructor course witch i did and the where so helpful they worked around my dyslexia and helped me as much as possible to make sure i fully understood all aspects of the course and i passed thanks guys i appreciate all that yous have done to help me big thumbs up

I Attended a Novice counterbalance course. And from the minute I walked in to there office, I Felt welcome and relaxed. They talk to you like you're one of them and not just a customer and it helps.

The staff are fantastic everyone of them, I had the pleasure of being taught by George who has years of experience and It shows in how he teaches and help you relax when things aren't working in your favour.

I Can't recommend them enough, you'll just know it's the right choice when you enter the office's door.

Did a 5 day novice counterbalance forklift course last week. Facilities were excellent and all staff friendly and welcoming. David my instructor was first class from start to finish. Course was at a good pace and was very enjoyable. Would highly recommend alba training to anybody looking to do these kind of courses. Couldn t fault them at all. I will have no hesitation coming back for further training or refresher.

Fantastic training course!! Instructors very patient and knowlegable took time to explain things fully and help given at all times very impressed with course and instructors One of the other trainees on the course needed a little more help and encouragement but the rest of us did not feel left out or ignored in any way!! Would definetly recommend this organisation 10 out of 10 All staff very friendly and put us at ease great learning atmosphere

I recently finished my Forklift Instructor Training at Alba.
Excellent training, led in an entertaining and engaging manner. Informative, educational and helpful. While our trainer, Andy, was always friendly and encouraging he also refused to let any mistakes pass by and always coached improvements. I learned more than I expected to and thoroughly enjoyed the course.

Overall the training was precise and to the point. Staff were approachable and plite. All in all enjoyable experience. Will use again.

Had my counterbalance refresher training today Fri 7th may 21 and must say very impressed. Great location, instructor very knowledgeable, took his time explaining everything and made it easy to understand, made you feel at ease. Free tea and coffee available. Set up in warehouse for driving part of exam was well thought out with very good equipment to practice on! Would have no problems recommending alba to family and friends or anyone looking for quality training.

Well set out course for our Lift Truck refresher. The instructor was on point and very thorough. I will certainly use Alba in the future and i highly recommend them.

Completed a crane operator and lifting and slinging course with Michael. A very engaging delivery of a lot of information. Michael created a relaxed and friendly environment to work in but still regularly asked questions to test our knowledge. I can thoroughly recommend Alba Training!

Did a 5 day novice course for FLT license with the Alba. I have nothing to say but positive things for the company and staff. Very professional and opened my eyes to an in-depth detail of driving and manoeuvring a forklift truck. Weekend after it literally walked into a better job with the skills n qualifications earned here. The trainer's are great bunch and make the training worth while. Can't fault a single part from start to finish. Thanks very much guys I will be using Alba again for any resits or if I choose to do any other course.

I completed my Instructor re-reg with Alba, I had a bad result on my first attempt but they gave me a free re-sit and I passed with flying colours, also refreshed my reach, LLOP and stacker certificates. I would highly recommend Alba to anyone who wishes to train on any kind of lift truck, these guys are top class, very friendly and helpful. I will be coming back for all my training needs. Thanks guys.

After doing a 4 day course at alba training, I couldn't be happier with the services provided to me. David carr my instructor was very welcoming and very methodical with his way of teaching. All training came with very clear and understandable instruction and also come with clear explanations as to why these methods are used. Also all the other staff at alba training were very welcoming and helped to make me feel relaxed in the learning environment. FIVE STAR service.

Trainer Michael while very professional was good fun and put me at ease. I felt like I learned a lot without feeling like I didn't know anything. It was my first time on a bendy truck and with good instruction I picked it up quickly. If the other trainers are this good then I look forward to learning with Alba again.

I did the novice Counter Balance course which lasted for 5 days. From the moment I first started the course I came into a warm and friendly atmosphere. All staff made me feel very welcome. The training by Andy was excellent, it was set at the right pace with the right amount of practise. On the Friday which is the day you do your written and practical tests, all was very calm which helped settle any pre-test nerves. I highly recommend Alba Forklift Training and if I require any of the other types of forklift training I will definitely do my training with them. Highly recommended.

Good and very knowledgable trainers, I have never failed a course or fell asleep during their training, they like a bit of banter and always get the training across in a light hearted manner whilst also making sure that you know what you need to know

Attended the Counterbalance Conversion Course on a 1 on 1 basis with John. A great day with a nice relaxed atmosphere. John is a very experienced instructor with a very good teaching approach. Carol, who runs the office is lovely too, a very bubbly character. All in all, I'm impressed with Alba Forklift Training and would definately use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I have spent the last two weeks at Abla training doing my RTITB instructor course. The staff are absolutely amazing and the facilities are perfect. Derek is a very calm & knowledgeable instructor. He is very easy to talk to and covers anything that you ask with great knowledge & understanding. The course is very well organised & is very enjoyable to do. I personally would recommend Derek to anybody wishing to undertake a forklift training course.

Great course. Not too heavy too take in. Good pace and presentation by the instructor helped take in and understand all information needed. Can`t fault anything.

Excellent, took Counterbalance course with ALBA in September 2020. Trainer (Derek) was superb, very professional, helpful and knowledable. Plenty of attention to detail and made learning easy and enjoyable. Dealing with Alba was very easy and at all stages staff are very helful.

This week I attended the 5 day RTITB forklift instructors course with Alba training. On arrival I was full of nerves and fear even though I have been an instructor for several years this was the first forklift instructor course I attended. Immediately my instructor JIm put me at ease but he new what he had to do to get me passed the fear.

The full week the admin team and instructors have persevered with me and got me to the level I need to be at. Absolutely brilliant, stressful week but honestly all made so much easier because of the great instructor Jim.

I recently just completed a week training course for my counter balance forklift and I loved every minute of it. The staff are caring and supportive with a great sense of humour. Great training carried out in very professional manner although love a bit of banter on the side which always makes your day go by that bit quicker. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to sit there forklift test.
