Been a loyal customer for over 14 years. Have never missed a payment my entire length of service. Called today to cancel my monitoring for personal reasons, and was informed I was under contract until June of 2021. Apparently when I signed my contract back in 2006, there is a clause stating that the contract auto renews every year. So I pull out my contract, and sure enough, the clause is there. What's also in my contract is a clause stating that if you use direct payment by credit card (I do and have for many years) you'll save $2 a month. Well, I've not been seeing those savings. So I'm now informed that I was sent a letter stating that there will no longer be a $2 savings for direct payment. Funny I have all my paperwork, but not that letter. So I will continue to pay the monitoring for the next 8 months until my contract expires, but I will make sure to spread the word to anyone considering this alarm company to beware, make sure you read the contract thoroughly, and know that customer loyalty means nothing to them.
