Best alarm company around. Very friendly and personable service. Technicians are experienced and knowledgable. Being local lets you know who you are working with. You can go into the lobby to pay bills, look at equipment and get a lot of useful information. I would not use any other alarm company.
This is a response to alarm pros response that I would like to add. At no time in the conversation I had with the person that answered my call I said I was the original owner of this system. Also I never got anything in the mail from alarm pro! Also at no time in the conversation with the lady I as talking to offered anything to me other than telling me it would cost me lots of money to return something that actually belongs to the owner or the system. Something again that the owner paid for which in my eyes was stollen by Alarm Pro. Everything that they responded with is all lies. Do not use this company!! There are other BETTER options. Should be zero stars!! You buy the system, you pay them to monitor the system, they hold it hostage by programming a lockout so you cannot access the system without paying them over a HUNDRED DOLLARS to come to the residence to spend a minute to unlock the system. To all who are looking to have a security system, please do your homework. Ask questions. This is your system that you are paying for. They are supposed to work for you and not the other way around. I would never use this company just for this reason. My system is being held hostage unless I pay them over a hundred dollars for a few numbers punched in a keypad.
I had this company install my alarm system in 2001. Recently, I had a problem with my alarm not working. I asked Alarmpro to come out to check the alarm system. The tech came here and looked at the system and said we do not have the parts and cannot service this system. He wrote me an estimate for a new system and then charged me 112 dollars for a service call. I was upset and not thinking so I wrote a check to pay the bill. Then, after he left I called JDS Security, Inc. to look at the system and give me quote. A tech arrived and was super nice. He checked the wiring and said the wires were loose at the garage door and the front door sensor needed to be screwed tighter. He fixed it and said I do not need a new system and said he was only there for 15 minutes and he did not charge me. Alarmpro charged 115 for a visit and estimate of 1000 to fix system with new parts. The tech was here for 30 minutes and did nothing to fix issue. I called alarmpro to tell them that the tech did not know how to fix the system. Instead of being supportive the customer service lady said you asked for us to come out and we did. If you do not like it you can bring us to court and we will win. This is a very sad way to handle a retired person who is on a fixed income. I was very disheartened. However, after my experience with JDS Security, Inc. I feel so much better. Use JDS security, Inc. if you ever need an alarm to be installed and fixed. They made my day by fixing something for free because they care about people. Alarmpro showed me that either they are incompetent or tried to get me to buy a new system through deceit. Either way it was an awful way to do business.
The caring staff at Alarmpro have been protecting the Flagler Humane Society and our animals for many many years. They do a wonderful job. They go the extra mile, providing prompt and personalized service. If you want to be more than just a number to some large security company, if you want to be protected by local professionals who you know, go with Alarmpro.
Been a loyal customer for over 14 years. Have never missed a payment my entire length of service. Called today to cancel my monitoring for personal reasons, and was informed I was under contract until June of 2021. Apparently when I signed my contract back in 2006, there is a clause stating that the contract auto renews every year. So I pull out my contract, and sure enough, the clause is there. What's also in my contract is a clause stating that if you use direct payment by credit card (I do and have for many years) you'll save $2 a month. Well, I've not been seeing those savings. So I'm now informed that I was sent a letter stating that there will no longer be a $2 savings for direct payment. Funny I have all my paperwork, but not that letter. So I will continue to pay the monitoring for the next 8 months until my contract expires, but I will make sure to spread the word to anyone considering this alarm company to beware, make sure you read the contract thoroughly, and know that customer loyalty means nothing to them.
We have been using alarm pro for seven years. They have the best customer service and the fastest response time. The nicest people in the alarm business and I would recommend them to everyone.
The folks at alarm pro are professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Denise worked with my family, who already use alarm pro for the alarm system, to install cameras. The technician was amazing. They accommadated the families schedule and installation, camera layout, and instructions exceeded our expectations. My sister and I live in other parts of the country and now we have access to the happenings with our elderly parents. Thanks for the great experience.
