I had this company install my alarm system in 2001...

I had this company install my alarm system in 2001. Recently, I had a problem with my alarm not working. I asked Alarmpro to come out to check the alarm system. The tech came here and looked at the system and said we do not have the parts and cannot service this system. He wrote me an estimate for a new system and then charged me 112 dollars for a service call. I was upset and not thinking so I wrote a check to pay the bill. Then, after he left I called JDS Security, Inc. to look at the system and give me quote. A tech arrived and was super nice. He checked the wiring and said the wires were loose at the garage door and the front door sensor needed to be screwed tighter. He fixed it and said I do not need a new system and said he was only there for 15 minutes and he did not charge me. Alarmpro charged 115 for a visit and estimate of 1000 to fix system with new parts. The tech was here for 30 minutes and did nothing to fix issue. I called alarmpro to tell them that the tech did not know how to fix the system. Instead of being supportive the customer service lady said you asked for us to come out and we did. If you do not like it you can bring us to court and we will win. This is a very sad way to handle a retired person who is on a fixed income. I was very disheartened. However, after my experience with JDS Security, Inc. I feel so much better. Use JDS security, Inc. if you ever need an alarm to be installed and fixed. They made my day by fixing something for free because they care about people. Alarmpro showed me that either they are incompetent or tried to get me to buy a new system through deceit. Either way it was an awful way to do business.
