They were good an all until I came across Lindsey, the brokerage side is horrible they will snatch a load off your hands for $50 less and give it to another carrier after she had honored me the load.!! this is from Longview, TX to Downey, CA ! you can kiss my tail ;)

My husband loves working for them his only problem is they don't pay enough but they have amazing people working there

HORRIBLE TREATMENT AT ORIENTATION AFTER TRAVELING 12 HOURS AND SPENDING MONEY ON FUEL TO GET THERE AND BACK. 6 hours each way, I ask to see the truck I was going to be getting.
Monica, was nasty about it, then Dan in safety was very nasty after coming in the recruiting room yelling, scolding me and the sweetheart of a recruiter there, " new recruiter",who was apauld at the treatment he was giving her, after getting the wrong information from Monica. saying we can't have recruiters telling drivers that they are getting new trucks, unbelievable. I NEVER even said anything close to that. The man that sits beside Dans office to the left, came in a put a post it note in my face, " about 1 inch from my eyes" with 2 numbers of trucks on it. he didn't speak a word. very rude! then I went out to see the 2 trucks that was offered , thinking at this point , why did I drive this far to be treated so rudely. I went outside the first truck was locked, and I didn't see the other. so I was going in to ask where the other truck is and to get a key because the first was locked, the guy behind the desk who was sitting there got up, he was upset shaking his head saying, he can't have drivers just wondering around out there. very rudely. At this point I was so upset, I just said, just forget I don't need to see your trucks, I am not putting up with this rude behavior. it was unexceptable.
UNBELIEVABLE, EVERYTHING I READ SAYING THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE AND WHY I CHOSE THAT COMPANY, THINKING THE NICE RECRUITER WAS AN EXAMPLE OF THE COMPANY, LOL. BOY WAS I WRONG. MAYBE DUE TO BEING FEMALE, WHO KNOWS. BUT I WAS TREATED HORRIBLY. THEN TO TOP IT OFF, THE OWNER AND HIS 2 SONS WERE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND, NEVER EVEN GOT A CALL FROM THEM OUT OF RESPECT! AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, THEY OWE ME FOR GAS AND TIME, WEAR AND TEAR ON MY CAR, WHICH I WILL NEVER SEE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
THAT RECRUITER DOESNT BELONG WITH THAT COMPANY, IF I WERE HER, I'D LEAVE. SHE DIDN'T DESERVE THAT EITHER.
May this company get, what they give.

Sounds like you need to pay more I hate to go on reviews but if you have the greatest staff and nice equipment but can't pay the bills then I'm out moving on.

My husband has been at this company for 8 years (that alone speaks volumes) . This is a great company to work for . Most of the truckers that leave end up coming back and many have retired from this awesome family . It's a wonderful family owned and make YOU family company that really does take care of their people (driver's family included. I know from very personal solid experience . Thank you Dan , Tammy , Trent , Laurie , Mr. Mac , and Monica . These awesome people understand that the drivers are not numbers or machines but simply beloved family . Join AMX family , not a company !

It's a really good company to work for they aren't the highest paying company BUT with them your treated like a person not a number and they understand that things come up in life and do everything they can to help you work through it.

Pay is low and u get between 1500 and 2000 miles a week

Maybe train your drivers t follow the law... 1629 would rather drive next to another truck for 5 miles rather than moving to the right... u know slower traffic.. the other truck finally got enough clearance and took off, but what a headache that could have been avoided if your driver would have just moved over! No body was there for him to pass it was clear!

Their driver arrived at our facility and went under his trailer to relieve himself right at our property the most disgusting company I have ever seen.

I love Amx people say the miles suck but if your not home every weekend and you actually run you get great miles! Amx will help you in anyway they can. I have never worked for a company like Amx they know your name, love my dispatch, and Dan Banner awesome person! The White's are good people to work for! Nice equipment all around great job. The pay does need to change but I don't ever see myself leaving been with Amx 6 years. I would recommend Amx to anyone willing to actually work!

Sliding pay scale adds insult to injury to the not competitive below average pay. Most companies pay a straight 50-60 cpm without the sliding scale based on getting over 2100 miles a week. Come on Colin and Scott step up to the plate your the only company that does this and rips the driver off. I know you read these reviews.Lori Danner and Whitney Money dont reimburse expenses. Keith Grantham refused to " bump up miles". Nighttime dispatch Barth Walding bullies drivers and Dan Banner tolerates this. Abuse telematics to bully drivers. Owner is all talk and no action. Waste of time

I've been with AMX for 5 years. It is run by a great bunch of people. I've never had a company that would go out of their way to help you like AMX will. Great equipment, plenty of miles, plenty of home time. I'm home when I need to be, with no complaints from my dispatchers.

Daniel is the so called Manager. He is rude and condescending. Carriers stay away from this broker, they stay true to crooked reputation that broker have. This company is ready to screw anyone over when possible. It s truly sad the we work so hard to pick and deliver a load and then get it there the next day on time and then get fined a $250 screw you over fine. Daniel is not only as stated above but he hangs up on you in mid conversation. I hope customers and carriers read this and stay away. That is the only way things can change in this industry. When asked for the owners name, he said he would not give it to me. Why??? Why can t he give it me?

My husband's been here for 13 yrs and love it and the people. You will leave but like him, he came back here because there's no other company like AMX.

The greatest trucking company to work for. I have drove for other companies but found my home when I got to AMX! You are not a truck number and everyone will help you in any way they can. I highly recommend to any driver looking for a company to call home.

Best ever the only thing about that company I don't like it !! the trucks not run more than 63 mph but the rest is amazing!!!!!!

AMX is a good place to work for Drivers . All the trucks are less then 3 yrs old

One of the best i have ever dealt with. Drew and Alyssa paid well and compensated well for a layover. Extremely thankful for brokers like them!
