So after reading the other reviews, i was skeptical but decided to give it a chance. The woman at the front desk had two teeth and a terrible attitude. She literally did nothing to help me or show she cared in the least. This is an embarrassment to this state.
I can understand that the workload may wear and tare on the employment staff and cause excessive delays in providing services. However, let's be honest would the employee's rather be unemployed? Or let's say evaluated on their customer service and performance, yet rated poorly... Let's cut to the chase, you guys knew your job description from day one. This is an employment office not everyone desires to work or work at minimum standards. So tighten up or I'm sure one day you will be terminated and standing on the other side of the counter.
Worst experience ever... I have been trying to get my unemployment situated for the longest. I understand that during this hectic time and this pandemic that we have going on that staffing can be limited. however it has going on for 2 weeks now and I have yet to get my unemployment situated. I have called the 800 number to 334 number and so many different numbers for the time being and yet no one answers there on the unemployment line and then no one ever calls you back here for the Alabama career center. And this is what is becoming theproblem no one seems to care because they have a job and no they have a job there are people out here that don't have a job that are trying to get a job and trying to get their unemployment and none of that is being taken care of!
Excellent, very helpful and friendly Sheila Baker and Miss Leanne are great assets to the career center. Even the front desk receptionist is a wonderful person very helpful
