Al Hamra Residence and Village Review

Very quiet, good hotel. Everything as it should be.

Everything was outstanding especially Yetty and Manisha have been very concerned about the physical well.
Also to be highlighted are the long meal times.
Also Sabina at the front desk is very helpful.
I was neither for the first time nor for the last time in this hotel

Without doubt one of the favourite hotels. I stayed during my time in ras al khaimah
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff.we were upgraded to the palace .The staff was extremely friendly the restaurant are very flexible (appreciate this)and the housekeeping Archie and Asenit deserves a special thanks :-).We had 2 nights stay here and it's absolutely added up to my experience and I just loved the place

dont go at week ends or publick holidays since it's not orgnaized

I didn't enjoy staying here much as I have expected more of a 5 star hotel .. anyhow some might consider it good for them. My stay was at the village not the residence. So if u need to use the beach facilities u should walk across the road to the residence and there is no transportation providedq. Guess I will try another hotel in the future.

What is not to love ?

Check in long. Did not offer a seat through the entire process though I was 9 months pregnant. No smile or eye contact. Excellent facilities, OK breakfast. Second time there.

Not a family place, not suitable for children, the furniture old, swimming pools slippery and dangerous for children.

Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned. Good food and a swimming pool with lifeguard and access to the sea. Close to shopping center and golf course.

Revelation, 3 swimming pools at your disposal, huge beach, breakfast - dall, carry with potatoes, fried liver, rest classic - omelets, sausages etc. I remember it wonderfully !!!

The staff is very nice and accommodating. Rooms are from the furniture totally fine and clean. The dinner is very varied, the breakfast very simple, but fine. There are several pools and a private beach. Both areas More

Where do I start? Akmed (deputy front of house manager) is probably the rudest and most aggressive hotel staff member that I have ever had the misfortune with meeting. Overall our experience was less than satisfactory, starting from a poor welcome, to unpleasantly small rooms, to water leaking from ceilings, to them trying to overcharge my internet bill at checkout. The food is awful, the room service beyond unacceptable and the environment is certainly not a 4 star standard hotel.

Please take my advice, find somewhere else, you will only regret staying here!

We were in village rooms.Rooms are not beach front.They are not providing free wifi.For hourly we have to pay for the net...Thats too bad.Room service is taking very long time..

Very nice place to enjoy vacation, hotel is large has many different rooms to offer with balcony, terrace, with sea view etc.
Most of them have living / sleeping areas (together or separately), kitchen, toilet with bathtub and shower (sometimes there is a second room called a guest toilet), hallway.
Very nice air-conditioned areas,
There is a lift available (if this is floor apartment.

One of my favorite holiday escape location. Good for family or company get together.many things to enjoy. I have visited three times already.

The hotel is clean, tidy and luxurious and the price is suitable and I would recommend it for leisure, entertainment and family trips

Huge studio rooms, about 50 sq m. Good food. A pool with cooled water. On weekends local arrives and a huge queue is created to enter the restaurant during dinner. Overall, I recommend it.

For a 5 * star hotel (now getting on in years - more like 3 *), you can ask for more cleanliness (old issue shower and mold, beach toilets).

Size of the room (about 100 square meters !! ) more than ideal, breakfast buffet was rather average.

My reservation was in Al Hamra Village which is different from Al Hamra Residence

The village is just okay. The room's furniture is old and the toilet without rinser. You have to ask for everything to get despite it has to be ready before you take over the room.

The worst thing I found when I asked about the prayer room to pray they said there is no prayer room and you have to pray in your own room. It's not acceptable in an Islamic country.

Notes:
The main restaurant for the launch or the dinner is located inside Alhamra Residence not Al Hamra village so you have to walk for 5 to 10 minutes.

when you get inside the restaurant every one of the staff will ask you for your room number and I think it's supposed to be asked for one time at the reception of the restaurant. (They asked us 4 times)

The water inside the restaurant is not free at all. and the most shocking thing that I was informed that they are charging for any more water inside room. How is this a 5 stars hotel.

The food is good but not fabulous or very good.

You have the access for all facilities even that are located at Al Hamra Residence

They have a huge beach which is really beautiful and clean. there is a lot of activities on the beach.

My kids enjoyed the kids club as the staff was friendly and active. The hotel has 3 more kids areas.

First of all we were reserved to a sister concern but they accommodated us here and even gave us an upgrade. The staff helped to keep us well-informed. The rooms were quite clean and the washrooms were speck and tidy. The beds were well made giving us that wow-factor. We stayed at the Single bedroom suite that had kitchen and a separate bedroom with 1 toilet and 1 washroom. We had a view towards the beach that was breath taking and we stayed at the 7th floor. No air conditioning issues were found, we stayed during the hottest August days.

Good hotel .. with swimming pool .. overlooking the beach .. needs to study before going as families

Where to start? The hotel is basically divided into two you have the village which is poorly taken care of and maintenance with a lot of mosquito because they water their plants with sewage water, I then went for the residence i booked a one bedroom suite the air cooling wasn't working the couch was so bad it had mold growing on it the swimming pool was yellow in color, people were bringing alcohol from outside the hotel and drinking in the hotel and around the pool area. the service from the staff is extremely poor they are slow and incompetent the fastest service was check out, also the valet drivers do not know how to park they actually damaged my car and after reviewing the cctv the manager didn't even apologize or offer me something to compensate me with. I dont know which legislation body give hotels stars, id give this hotel quarter of a star. im never coming back!!.

As for me, a super nice clean beautiful beach with 2 steps and a nice garden. Complaining people should move to the hotel sail.

Recommendable Please note that the rooms are on the sunny side and others on the shade side and the last are in peace and quiet with lovely wide views. The beach is good and many beautiful seashells

The rooms on the website looks different from actual. Dirty, AC is bad.

It was okay, service was standard and the rooms were okay too.

Staff was pleasant and courteous. Various activities there and pool for kids. Awesome view of beach from the eighth floor and the beach was very clean. Enjoyed my stay there.

I really like this place, my 2-year-old daughter enjoyed her stay too as there are many activities for her age, the staff are welcoming and so nice. I highly recommend it and will definitely go again if i have the chance

Cheating ads to get you inside the hotel. Please make sure to book your room type inside the residence . Later even you pay extra they will kick you inside the village ..saying the room type you booked only in village . How can we know the room type wither in residence or village unless you been there before. The washroom was not clean even after the long waiting to get the room after 3:30pm

Nice place with big rooms and all facilities. Looks more like service apartments. Breakfast needs improvement in quality/taste and swimming pool needs regularly cleaned

Cool, as always, it won't please everyone. During Ramadan, a lot of Europeans are calm after Ramadan, a great advantage of the local and neighboring countries. Who have breakfast included in the price and it is light in the morning (large queues). As for food, not everyone will be satisfied with the stay. But it's ok for my taste, you can always find something good. Very large rooms, ours has a total bathroom with a bath, shower and 2 sinks. The climate is very efficient. Our room facing the Persian Gulf but no balcony. There are rooms with balconies but rather on the street side. 3 swimming pools at the hotel, one about 1.7 m deep, the second for children up to 50 cm and the third one up to about 1.4 m. Probably all air-conditioned rooms, even the toilet by the pool, you can get a shock from the outside at 45C and in the toilet, probably 18C, you have to wrap a towel around. If someone likes to party, he will rather be disappointed. Rather quiet music by the pool and maybe 2 parties. Shop and shopping center about 1.5 km away, we walk on foot, you can taxi about 6 PLN. Courteous service, during Ramadan a rare mile problem. RECOMMEND

Were in 2015. A huge double room. Two rooms, two toilets. Kitchen. Everything is convenient. The beach is clean, there are no waves. The food is not very diverse, but acceptable, drinks are paid. The pool is small. If for moderate money, you can go.

Residence is nice but village standard double rooms are smaller than expected. Also room doesn't have many common things which are usually available in other standard hotel rooms.
Staff is very good. And food is good.

Beautiful grounds, but could use some additional maintenance. We stayed at the village area which is a short walk/drive down the road. Long white sand beach with room for activities and lounging. Nice pool area that was quite busy (Late-January). The sand is quite rough and full of shells. Changing rooms available on the beach or in the bathroom inside the hotel.
