Al Hamra Residence and Village Review

The food was wonderful and the staff very attentive. However, the hotel room we stayed in would only have ranked two stars back in the UK, definitely not worth the four stars the hotel had purportedly been given. Don't stay in the Village section!

Really great place for a holiday, beautiful beach, lots of attractions but unfortunately mass of people even before the season.

An excellent hotel. The service is simply kind. Everyone wants to please their guests. The rooms are spacious, thoroughly cleaned every day, bed linen and towels are changed daily. The bathroom has a set of washing gel and shampoo. The room has Wi-Fi access, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a large balcony where you can listen to the birds singing in the evening. The food is very good and well seasoned. A wonderful, very wide beach, lots of sunbeds and pillows. What more could you want.

Very nice and luxurious place with beautiful private beach which you can enjoy alot of activities there like Jetski, Donut ride, banna boat,etc...

This place has an excellent and great view, rooms are spacious, ......... room service is not good , rooms are smelly, towels are not clean, food service is very poor, front desk staff are not smiling, this place can be improved.

It is a nice hotel but there are some problems in the servers and for a hotel overlooking the sea there is a garden and a football field as well

They don't clean the room since we checked in it's not clean, bad smell every where, very bad customer service and staff attitude is not nice at all, and we booked a sea view and they change it ti a golf corse view with out any notification!!!

A resort that looks like a castle. The 2BR room has 4 toilets, kitchen and living room. Cooking is allowed inside the unit and kitchen equipment is provided along with crockeries.

The Al Hamra Residence is located near Al Hamra Mall. Where Inside the mall has it fast food chains and Spinneys.

This is clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fine if you do not expect too much. Unfortunately I have to say that the drinks (apart from the water) at the evening are very expensive. The rooms are always in such fourth huts. One room downstairs has three rooms upstairs on the first floor. You have to be really lucky with his neighbors because these houses are really great. But all in all a good hotel!

Worst ever Service, property and worst of all is food.

The hotel does not meet the stated 5 *. Poor service, lazy staff, average food, line to the restaurant for lunch, no dishes, no tea, etc. and so on. Very strange for uae ..

It is ok as a place to stay, the rooms are nice especially if you are near to the swimming pool. The only disappointing factor is the breakfast but you can have at another nearby hotel.

The food in the English pub is good and can recommend the English Shepards pie.

1. Poor Service at the pool bar (Slow).
2. Thread in icecube, dirty glasses.
3. Twice I was given dirty glass.
4. Waiting at the breakfast area (half an hour due to limited sitting space).
5. Rooms are Big; Family Sweet - As this us what we booked.

Nice place and fine hotel for easy rest. Just 500 m gorm the beach

The staff is mostly very polite and courteous. But you also have to know that all "guest workers" can be deported if they let themselves get into debt or if they do not behave according to the country's customs. The rooms are getting old and need to be renovated. The equipment is o.k. WLAN for a week in the room is with approx. 90 right expensive. In the pool, restaurant, food area but there is a PUBLIC wireless internet, which costs nothing. The beach is a 10-minute walk.

Second my stay at RAK not at the Resort and in the Village. Of course, the rooms are not so spacious, a bit more modest, however, the stay here is less expensive than the resort, so the 5/5 rating takes into account the value for money.
The main thing - it is clean and smells. The bed is large and comfortable. Calm. A big plus (as I had to work), there is WiFi everywhere in the pools and on the whole beach. He was also in my room :) The first time it happened to me that people from the service got to know me and greeted me nice, which was nice after a long flight - here thanks to Jawad, Manju and Melody. They were always there where they needed to be willing to advise or help. I used the habit of the resort kitchen, I confirm that it is very good. I also thank the lifeguard who taught me how to catch jellyfish :) I consider the room and stay to be very cool, especially - let's face it - it is probably the most advantageous in the entire RAK for the price.

Tip for the rooms: The farther down the street, but unfortunately, further to the pool, Wifi and supermarket (contrary to appearances because the street separates the wall from residential houses)

Cozy Resort in Ras al Kaihmah. Nice and service minded staff.
Lovely environment.

A beautiful place with many restaurants and events. Great for family. Sea, pools and restaurants in a beautiful atmosphere.

We have booked a nice room for a couples on weekend.. We enjoyed the view and tge open beach.. We paid 285 for one night (weekend) and we got a free cake for our anniversary.. Im not sure if they missed to charge us.. But at the end its free cake xD

I don t recommend at all. We called hotel direct and booked deluxe suite with sea view for 2 nights and we paid over the phone,(1300 aed)when we reached hotel we wait more than 25 minutes to reception help us (chinese and philipino ladies) finally they were able to talk to us and they said we are fully booked so we have only one room we saw the room and we didnt like,We didn t pay that much money for this view and front desk manager came unfortunately cannot help even. We ask to cancel and refund our money back, so they will transfer to our account within 7 days.... <br/>long make short; they are unprofessional and They advertise 5star but we didn t see any facilities or etiquette more than 3 star.

The hotel is one of the finest hotels in Ras Al Khaimah and the hotel is very sophisticated and clean and clean

Good hotel. Beautiful grounds, spacious comfortable rooms. To the pools and the sea down the stairs. It can be difficult for families with wheelchairs. The stairs are small, but they are. Heated pools. Food at a good average level. The sea in the early days of January is vigorous, but you can swim. It s better to settle in the main building - the Residence, because Village and away and the rooms there are tiny. Near a good shopping center with a supermarket. There is a department with alcohol. There is a Shuttle to the Dubai Mall from the hotel, space is limited, recording days for 7-8.

This is a nice resort specially for the price you pay to stay here. The resort is complete as it offers nice accommodation, has its own peivate beach, 2 swimming pools, saunas(in the village), tennis courts, plenty of water sports activities (charged extra), two outdoor bars, and a couple of decent restraunts in the resort itself. The resort is most probably run by the Hilton group. They other good part is that the Al Hamra mall is at a 5 min drive or you can walk there in 15 minutes. It is generally a nice vacation spot if you are on a budget.

The hotel policy is inconsistent with the hotel booking app. You will be surprised that the child policy as per hotel online booking app ( Agoda ) child ranges from 0-10 years old is free, however when you reach the hotel they will consider an 8 yr old as an adult guest and need to pay extra. Also in our online booking (Agoda) we clearly (showed them the booking confirmation with the rooms details etc. ) that we book and paid for 3 adults in 1 room, but then again they informed us that only 2 adults is allowed in 1 studio room thus we were forced to take 1 room. Bottom line is that the consumer suffer because of these inconsistencies and misleading ads in online booking and the hotel did not even lift a finger to call the attention of Agoda and try to help us to fix the issues.

Every weekend m visiting this place....peacefully

Worst hotel so far.
Will not recommend it to anyone!

The hotel evokes conflicting emotions. The lobby of the hotel with the reception desk looks like 3 nothing more.
Rooms are nice and views too, even if not over the bay.
Service will be, if you insist on it, and in good English, otherwise they will not understand and you will have fewer towels than a person, there will be no bathrobes at all.
Adapters for the network are generally in short supply.
The food is good only on weekdays, on weekends there is an influx of locals, so the staff cannot cope. One day, the whole family with the children waited at the restaurant for 35 minutes, when the table would be free.
The pools are small. There are no slides.
The beach is under reconstruction, that is, the hotel's beach is not accessible to the public. And this is the main disappointment, since I was taking my family to the UAE glad of the sun, sea and beach.
We went to nearby hotels on the beach, but since the construction site was nearby, it was not pleasant.
There was no animation.
I do not recommend going there, especially with children.

Al Hamra village is part of the Residence Hotel. Our apartment is 90 square meters ... nice conditions. Bathroom with tub and shower. Terrace with a view and exit to the well-kept garden. Very clean and comfortable. There are some steps to the beach but melex transport is available for those who are tired. Food variety tasty and interesting.

We expected more, unfortunately.
1. Pools are cleaned, but they are in terrible condition, disgusting to swim.
2. Meager menu in the restaurant. There is no seafood at all, only in a separate restaurant, for a fee. Huge queues for food, which are sorted out so quickly that there is practically nothing left except rice and pasta.
3. Rooms are cleaned superficially, for visibility.
4. No minibar. But there is a refrigerator, kitchen and electric stove. This is a plus.
5. Dirty windows.

Lovely hotel, great service and food. Everything is very clean. The room was cleaned every day, clean towels, shampoos, soaps have everything and every day there is water in hotels.

Very nice hotel to stay. Its in aljazeera Ras Al Khaimah. With all facilities good accommodation , wide parking, pools , beach, spa , nice front view, good location, i loved it, affordable prices not too high. Good place to stay for visitors . .

Has already experienced better times, shabby and with many defects. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast without change ...

The rooms are not plush. Charging AED 25/hr for WiFi in room. No lift, you have to carry. Walk long under ennu way to access everything

Well-kept area, even if a bit old. Friendly staff.
2 pools for swimmers and for children are OK, direct access to the shallow private beach with sun loungers and shade. A bit strange that there weren't always enough large towels available.
Food at the buffet was rather weak and expensive> better to eat in the area (pesto, Belgian Cafe, Muse etc).
Noticeably many Russian guests, so unfortunately the children's program is only in Russian.

Quality, clean, huge room, delicious breakfast, pleasant staff

This hotel was very good, but now it's becoming old, management of this hotel are not doing good at all.

If you are in the village you have to walk 10 minutes to pool and beach.
