One of the finest hospitals in Pakistan for sure if not THE FINEST. Doctors and Nursing staff are very professional. They have a very beautiful waiting area and also a nice canteen with variety of items in the menu. The prices however are a little on higher side.
Great Doctors. Best indeed. I believe in AKU thoroughly because of their continuous research. Best medical institution and research center in Pakistan.
Just need to work a little bit in house keeping. Our people also need to be educated not to throw used tissues and other litter.
My sister died in February due to maltreatment and medical negligence of Aga Khan Hospital. I asked for the case to be reviewed and demanded the director's email address. I got a reassuring email that my case was under investigation but still was not given the director's email. It has been 2 months but I still have not recieved any outcome of the case review and the staff have not been replying to my emails demanding this outcome.

This place is the worst place ever.... They even take money for such small matters and the experience has never changed always terrible.... Please avoid going to this hospital! I know this hospital is very familiar to all the people. But don't go here. The reports are fake and the scarcity of medicine. Its very annoying.
I am writing this complaint against Aga Khan's admission office ,and the day care chemo nurses behavior. The employees in admission office,and the nurses in the chemo center are so rude and have a very unprofessional behavior with the patients. I am a Pakistani American citizen, and due to unfortunate circumstances I stuck in Pakistan,and couldn't travel for the sake of my patients health. On the basis of good review I choose Aga Khan,but I am so disappointed that I am wasting millions here solely to get the worst service. The staffs are so unprofessional, and rude especially if a person comes from different cities, or speaks differently. They only give priority to the people who have connections with the employees. The other patients will be treated same as any 3rd class government hospital of Pakistan.I am so dismayed,choked, and downhearted the way I am,and my patient is accorded in Aga Khan.
Although the results are satisfactory and the care they provide to you is extraordinary but it is too much expensive. Middle class person can't even dream of getting a treatment here. They have made it so beautiful and well-maintained that you may feel good even by walking in here. In Short this is the best hospital in Karachi only if you have got a huge amount of money to spend.
Aga khan treated my most of family members since years. They have much better services few year back. but now I'm very disappointed because they don't have good nursing Staff and even doctors.
In emergency unit they have most of them trainees and they don't have the ability to insert injection. like seriously we're admitting our patients in the private hospital not government for having that type of such services.
I advices all of you not go there for have any type of treatment. they just charged you higher amount & waste your time and patient health.
Dow , medicare , ziauddin much better then AKU now.
No doubt that AKUH has best care for patient by their professional team of doctor and all paramedical staff. I really thankful to all of them from depth of heart.
But for attendant there is no more any facilities remain what they have few years before. There is no enough and proper seating arrangement , no drinking water on waiting areas, too much mosquitoes all around the hospital, they should spray on daily basis. Also There is no space for sleep for attendant specially who come from rural areas.
I hope I would give 5 star on my next visit.
