This management company is horrible, they run it as a dictatorship, zero customer service, they dont care about their clients, once you purchase your property, that's all, they wont answer you anymore and you can never get pass the receptionist. Stay away, this is S. Florida attitude all the way.

Live in a building managed by them. Broken pipes. Broken elevators. Roaches everywhere. More time is spent on booting and towing cars without proper reason than taking care of the building.

Akam took over our condo two months ago and it's made a huge different. The place is cleaner, staff is following up on things. They put a plan in place for coronavirus that makes sense and protects people as much as is possible. They've been good so far.

I am an unit owner of a condominium building managed by Akam. I was requesting a formal letter from Akam for a personal matter in an emergency situation. I called my manager and he was able to provide me a proper written letter upon my request in a short amount of time. I was so relieved and very happy about the service and the efficiency.

The team we have goes well beyond what could be expected from a management company. We have a bunch of issues with our building and they are doing everything they can to get them fixed without any major interruptions to our day-to-day lives. It's really appreciated.

Although the Akam team doing a good jod and are nice, (manager Jason and admin Teresa) HOA high for not having access to our facilities. How about Akam could lead new committees or a brainstorm committee to create synergy to bring people to be more responsable. Just an idea.

The best thing about the Akam property management company is that they take care of the requirements of different owners. They manage my property and my cousins in Brooklyn s as well. The buildings are very different, but apparently both run very efficiently according to the individual needs.

avoid any residences managed by this company. i would give them zero stars if i could. to my knowledge, they've received countless complaints about a front desk employee at one of their locations and have done nothing about it. i've lost interest from prospective buyers twice because of this employee - they are degrading the value of my property and don't bother to return a call or listen. it's disgusting. avoid avoid avoid

Very frustrated. Response time is ridiculously slow, no one answers the phone or will help me. Their payment system is awful and the office at my association has NO CLUE! I am to the point of wanting to list and sell my condo now just to not deal with the mess they created. SO very very sad, tried calling to talk to a "manager of my HOA" or someone that has power and was redirected never got anyone. Never again will I buy with knowing this company manages.

Akam thought they would be slick and try to have my boyfriends reviews removed from google. Unfortunately, my account and his needs to be heard. My family owns a condo building in Mirabella Villa a property AKAM manages. In a recent three month long fiasco we had to deal with multiple plumbing issues above and below us that led to a large growth of black mold in our bathroom ceiling. We were repeatedly misled and lied to by property managers and maintenance who wanted to avoid taking care or coordinating any of the issues, dragging the problem on for much longer than necessary. Months later after the problem was still there and we had NO ability to use our toilet and shower by boyfriend was forced to take matters into his own hands, fixing and repairing all the issues AKAM would not. The last straw was when they went into the apartment under false pretenses to rapidly try and patch up a moldy ceiling with a small piece of drywall leaving huge areas of mold still present. Beware if you rent or have to deal with these people as your property maintenance company.
