My husband and my have rented several apartments from AKA during the last 4 and 1/2 years. They have always fixed issues when we have reported them. They have have always been professional and attentive to our issues. Very good company to rent from. Thank you AKA Management.
These people are dirtbags! We rented a place, we had to paint. Sparkle, fix heater and now fridge. If you contact the illiterate owner he will scream at you for bothering him. I smelled weed in the office signing the lease I should have known then this was going to be trouble. You are better off homeless than renting from these horrible people
I rented an apartment on 5th Street from them. It was mice infested. There are holes all over the apartment for the mice to come and go. They are slum landlords, had a 1920 rusted and molded refrigerator that they would not replace. Instead they tried cleaning the mold out with bleach. Cabinets were disgusting and underneath the sink in the kitchen was filled with mice droppings. Mice were pooping all over the counter as they were able to get on the counter through the stove.The smell in the hall to access the apartment stunk. Mice and were able to climb on top of the fridge and left droppings and ate into my food. Don't rent from them. You will be sorry. The worst place I ever lived.
The apartment I rented was Mice invested, lots of holes and shower was leaking. They blamed us for the rodents and leaks when it was bad pipes. Trash.
Their apartments are so nasty and horrible.... I regret moving here! All their places are in dangerous areas!
They re the most irresponsable people I ve moved almost two months ago and yet I have not got my deposit back!
Apparently they hire staff who steals from them, i gave my deposit to Bri, who then took off with it!!! The old lady Christine and maintenance man are aware and told me that i have to do the process of background and credit check all over again when Bri already told me i was approved!! They are scammers, both were rude and overall ghetto people which i will NEVER want contact with ever again!!! She sent out my security deposit when i didn't ask for it, then the Santa Claus lookin maintenance man .shuts the door in my face, i call the police and then they change they're tune when they get there. Now i have to find a place to stay with me and kids after they had me believe over a month ago that ill be moving on Dec 1st, worst customer service EVER!!! If i had another thumb illl give them 3 thumbs down!! Do not rent from them.
I applied for 415A N. Madison in October 2018 for myself and 2 adult sons $90 total application fees. I've called several times and was told first apt was rented. I asked for my deposit back and was told they had some other places coming up soon. I also was told about staff changes and the mix up in the office. I visited the office to inquire about the apt and was told again they had to check on it an get back to me. I requested a refund again and the next day I get a call asking for proof of income, that was December 2018. I'm still waiting to hear from them. 415 A N. Madison is advertised on website as available as of today. They're horrible in that office and they rip you off!!!
