Recently did a reload of a significantly large amount through my bank. Never received the reload.
When the bank inquired about it they always tell the bank that they had sent the reload successfully to the customer
But When I call and inquire, they say there are no such transactions in their database.
Later they started avoiding calls to support and their chat support is useless

Absolutely shameful and inefficient customer service!!! What a money scam they carry on! And all the false information provided by the customer service. I was assured my connection was instantly disconnected after settling all the due amounts, but they have actually taken over one month to process my request of service disconnection. Airtel expects me to pay a monthly bill for the time their poor service took!! After i phoned and informed about the situation and stated im not willing to pay for a service period i didn't use, i received a mail two days later claiming to sue me! What a joke airtel sri lanka! Do not recommend this service at all to anyone
After the recent issue i faced i am not satisfied.i am not satisfied not because of the service but what they did to my money i reloaded. I never asked my money as a bonus balance and they refuse to transfer to main account balance. should be ashamed what they are doing this COVID-19. Cheating money out of people.

This is Airtel Data Center and not Customer Service Center. High security area, you can't enter this premises without a ticket. You won't find any Airtel employees here, all workers are from other vendors like Huawei.
Don't use postpaid Airtel connections.
They have the worse Legal Department. The woman in that department don't know how to listen to customers. While we are confirming we don't have bills to pay, she shouted as a ***. She should have a mind set that thinks people cannot pay at-least 500 RS bills. (I cant imagine where from she)They are sending mails to people even no bills. When we call customer support, they don't have records even. Although you settle bills in timely manner, you should expect letters with red colored titles saying "Awasan sihikandaweemayi".
It s a shame. Please don't use Airtel. Specially don't use postpaid Airtel connections.
(I lost my sim once, therefore I paid for it and closed the connection. now after a 1 or 2 years they are sending these mail to our address. I even don't remember that number now. )

Had nice conversations 2 times today. And had to call to somewhere else too. Airtel agents asked me to call another company for more details. I did it too. I called and confirmed 0 rs bill, from your company itself when i recieved that letter in first time.
This is the second time. That letter doesnt have any information except only an amount. atlest it doesnt have reply back mail or my old numbers. Just mentioned client of M.Jayasinha, atorny at law is going to get all my properties and welth due to 500rs. bill. Cannot get my old numbers from your legal department, since the woman in that department dont know how to answer the calls. I m not going to send more information. You also can call your legal department and check how she s answering to clients.
Very poor service. Cheating and worst brand in Sri Lanka #Airtel. They having 99 pack and they promoting for 99/- talk time. When we dialled a number for 1755 ( Lanka Bell ) hotline number they have charged from the main account. When we ask the reason they said it's a code number so it will charge from the main account. You'll didn't mention it on anywhere. Don't do these kind of cheap things.
Don t buy work-home weekly package. It s not worth. Also can t use hotspot for zoom and team.
