Visited for the circus but the course and facilities are excellent
The venue was good, food very good but room was very cold.
I've been there several times for the Grand National. Top racecourse and the facilities are top.
Should be 5* minimum but the Carling lager was absolutely dreadful, should have tried something else I suppose, the event was well presented, love the place, yes I know what do you expect as I'm a Scouser, staff all over the course credit to the jockey club, oh i also backed a winner and came home with more money than i left the house with, lucky me.
Madness concert - amazing, could only give 5* but so much better than that.
Brilliant, ladies day was amazing and the staff were hospitable and lovely, same with all the security. Food was good as were the drinks
Delicious yummy food all round 5* Service clean Tidy restaurant with polite proffesional staff no complaints or negatives
Always a great day out. Staff are great and the Scouse wit and hospitality is second to none
It's terrible the way the poor horses die if they can't get back up
Good racing, plenty of clean toilets but wanted to sit down and have something to eat on a plate with a proper knife and fork - couldn't find anywhere. Staff couldn't help me. I had to be in hospitality to have that it seems.
National day so it was busy but not overcrowded. Well organised! Drinks were reasonably priced as well. Great day!!
Home of the greatest steeplechase on Earth Why is this and why is it called a steeplechase I hear you ask?
Steeplechase dates back to when local gentry, landowners, farmers etc. Would hold a race to see who had the fastest horses the course of the race would be in a straight line to a distant church steeple hence the 'course of the race' became the 'Racecourse' and as the horses race after each other towards the church steeple jumping over fences and hedges as they went this type of race became known as a 'Steeplechase'.
So why is Aintree Racecourse home of the worlds greatest Steeplechase? It's in Liverpool that's why.
Nice venue ale like all tracks expensive for what it is
Always a brilliant day at Aintree, Madness were great as well
Had a great day at Grand National, very expensive, a couple of problems need sorting, the need for more toilets, the police were a bit OTT with batons like walking sticks. 13 cops threw an old man out!!!!!! I was disgusted.
Peaky Blinders came to mind, some blokes very trendy.
Lots of lovely ladies dressed for a good day.
Went to aintree today so my 11yr old grandson could take a young driver driving lesson ,he was so excited .we paid 16 pound extra so he would have a recording of his lesson all went well until we got home,we put the memory stick into computer and then into TV it started to play with a high pitched buzz and played for 1 min 40 secs and then went off. We have sent the company an email ,then decided to go back to aintree and confront them, we were told they couldn't reemburse us as we had paid by credit card ,after a lot of hassle they said they will phone head office, the fella comes back and said they are sending me an envelope to send SD card back to be checked,I then asked to speak to them he used his phone and I spoke to them. The out come of the conversation was send it back ,my grandson has autism and I think they should at least give him a free lesson so it can be recorded again .I am know waiting for envelope
Drinks are expensive but that's what I expected. we went to a race night then Craig David was singing live had a great night
Never been but keeps prompting me for a review so here it is......." bet it's a belting day out"
Always have an amazing time here, they have some excellent gigs on after the racing to. Good value for money on the tickets
Well, I wasn't there for a race meeting, but for a conference. Superb facilities, and very helpful staff on site. Plenty of car parking, and a railway station just over the road. Can't comment on the race track itself, looked like a very large field with a fence around it.
There for training for work. Venue good but food and seating etc not great
Service at the bar was poor. Took 40 minutes to get our drinks.
Love coming here, great atmosphere and well organised.
Great, well organised, half Marathon weather was rubbish, but thats more to do with the Gods!
I visited for the color run. Parking was limited, but overall the facilities were pretty good and the event was well supervised and staffed.
Love this place.
Such a great atmosphere with brilliant facilities for humans and horses.
Arena hire is brilliant also!
Went for ladies day. Was such a fantastic atmosphere.
It wasnt clear how to get in to the equestraian centre in my car.
The first time I went to the entrance barrier it didnt lift second time it did.
It wasnt obvious that I could get through the second gate it also was automatic but due to no signage I ended up parking at the top of steps and having to try and hobble down them. I have a blue badge and walk with sticks so more signage would have been helpful.
I theirfore spent the time there thirsty and hungry. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!
Went here on a works night out. Had never been to the race's before. Fantastic and friendly staff had a really good time.
Great place.
Not enough bars for people long cues
Ladies day, Princess Royal roof great views can get busy at bars and tote. Go down to the bookies it's quicker and easier
Visitied Ladies Day and loved it. 100% would go back!
Another great day no winners but there's always next time !!
Great venue, fantastic atmosphere hope to return next year.
Always wanted to go and see raving on the Grand National course. We had a good day despite the fact that we only had one winner. Only disappointment was the fact that Beechers and the Canal Turn fences were so far from the stands but we did have a great view of the Chair and the water fence. Food and staff fantastic as usual. Don't worry about parking, it's only a short walk from the metro
Love the place in the summer months. Great family friendly events held here now and again. The best place in the country for the racing! Good parking facilities.
Came here for conference facilities. Excellent. Shame about the annual horse torture.
Exploitation of animals and people call that fun....
We have provided casino themed entertainment for many wedding receptions at Aintree Racecourse, always a good time
Only visited for a seminar so no races witnessed. Looks nice though.
Have been to the national on the Thursday a few times now. But pricey but it's a great day out.
It was a fantastic day outing with the Veterans ,they took us all round the place N looking into the racecourse N it was spot on.
