It is a very pleasant place, the boys give an excellent energy and gives you the confidence to make the decision to do your volunteering with them.

I can only thank this wonderful team and who gave all the support during my first exchange and trip outside Brazil. I was very well received and very well guided by everyone, especially Fernando, Cristian and Franco, friends that I will keep forever. Thank you for making my exchange an unforgettable experience.

worst coordination for incoming volunteering, absolute lack of assistance for foreign people and bad coordination for the activities with partner associations

This year my nephew was going to travel to Brazil to volunteer and due to the Covid issue and global instability, he decided not to. We had paid all the administrative part that Aiesec requested, or a contract (which is not cheap)
In the contract, it says that Aiesec could return 40% of the payment, but for this you have to send a letter to Buenos Aires and explain the fundamentals of why you do not travel. (send an email addressed to anyone, they make you put someone in question, you don't know who you're talking to)

They did not give me any solution, they washed their hands, I spoke with two boys who contradicted each other, one told me one thing, another another, a destare. They gave me the opportunity to change the date, but when? They gave me two years to choose. Let's see consistency, if the world has been like this for almost a year, more cases of covd are appearing, it is not known how it will continue ... Brazil plagued with infections and deaths.
It seems to me a lack of respect what they do, for them people's lives are not worth it, it is not necessary to justify that you do not travel because there is a global pandemic, it is more than justified, if you do not take care of your life, who is going to take care of it ?
They would have to return the full amount I paid, not just 40%, which I could not even get, because there was no administrative expense because my nephew did not travel and is not going to travel.
They take cover from everywhere, and the volunteers are left helpless. A shame, Aiesec so many years, how many have had the same thing, I do not put a lawyer because I do not have the resources to pay it. But at some point this will stop happening and promise things that they will not deliver as well. No star deserves ... but if I don't put one it won't let me publish ...

Amazing. I lived my exchange last summer and I would repeat it without hesitation, it totally changed my way of seeing the world and dealing with people, it gave me many tools for my professional life

An incredible organization that invites you to leave the comfort zone, develop your skills and change you to change the world. I wish we were all volunteers!
