I was accepted into an AIESEC program by the Austin, Texas chapter and was supposed to go to Brazil. I paid the $500 deposit, but due to visa issues with the Brazilian Consulate, AIESEC Brazil is unable to sponsor American students.
I've sent countless emails to various people at AIESEC about this issue to see if I can switch programs or be issued a refund and no one has responded to me. So AIESEC basically took my $500 and disappeared.
DO NOT allow this company to rip you off like they did to me.
