Ahb: The Premier Niederdeutsche Amateurbühne in Oldenburg

Ahb is a premier Niederdeutsche Amateurbühne located in Oldenburg, Germany. Founded in 1921 as a part of the Ollnborger Kring, Ahb has since grown to become an independent department of the Landestheater Oldenburg. Today, it is known for its exceptional performances and fills the Niederdeutsche Sparte of the Oldenburgischen Staatstheaters.

At Ahb, we are passionate about bringing high-quality theater productions to our audiences. Our team consists of talented actors, directors, and technicians who work tirelessly to create unforgettable experiences for our viewers.

One thing that sets us apart from other theaters is our commitment to performing exclusively in Niederdeutsch. This regional language spoken in northern Germany adds a unique flavor to our productions and helps us connect with local audiences on a deeper level.

Over the years, we have produced countless plays that have left lasting impressions on our viewers. From classic dramas like "Faust" and "Hamlet" to modern comedies like "Der nackte Wahnsinn," we strive to offer something for everyone.

In addition to producing plays throughout the year, Ahb also offers workshops and training programs for aspiring actors and theater enthusiasts. These programs provide valuable opportunities for individuals looking to hone their skills or simply learn more about theater production.

At Ahb, we believe that theater has the power to bring people together and inspire change. That's why we are committed not only to producing exceptional performances but also using our platform as a force for good within our community.

Whether you're an avid theater-goer or simply looking for something new and exciting to do in Oldenburg, Ahb has something special waiting just for you. Come experience the magic of Niederdeutsche Amateurbühne at one of our upcoming shows!
