We stayed here for our wedding. We got one of the larger rooms in the B&B, and it was lovely. I had no problems connecting to the internet. The location is excellent, and we were pleased with how easy it was for us to get around from the Inn. Parking was a pain in the butt, but you'll get that at almost any B&B in any downtown city anywhere.

The staff was beyond amazing. They were easy to contact prior to the wedding and helped me set everything up without putting any stress on me. I have a ton of dietary issues, and they provided me with alternatives I could eat without making me feel like I was causing them problems. They kept our entire group happy and well-informed, which I so appreciated.

The wedding they arranged for us was beautiful, even though we had to displace them during check-in so we could get married. I couldn't recommend this Inn enough.

Aubrey was simply the best. She made this place feel like a home away from home. The breakfast was amazing. They are respectful of dietary need and offer substitutions. The rooms are the perfect size for two. Though St. George street is so close, I was not bothered by the noise because of the fan and white noise machine provided.

I was blown away by my recent stay at Agustin Inn! It's a charming facility that's set square in the middle of downtown St. Augustine. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to park your car for the weekend and just walk everywhere. I stayed in their ADA accessible room, which was so impressive. The room was more accessible than some I've seen in big hotels! The staff is a wealth of local knowledge and really make you feel like you're home. Plus, the never-ending cookie jar certainly doesn't hurt! If you're looking for a great location, a comfortable room, and friendly service, there's no place better than Agustin Inn!

Stay here!! I got the "small room" it was just perfect for just me. Parking is off-site, just a quick walk a few blocks away. Historical district center! Price can't be beat. Free WiFi, parking & breakfast. Can be a little noisy as people come and go. But with the soft bathrobes, awesome bathroom products and free breakfast, i can't recommend any other location. Visit!! Call them to book. And enjoy your time in St augistine. The "tasting room" next door rocks and ice cream place on the other side. Heaven!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Augustin, and it was one of the more memorable stops on our trip through the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. Our accomodations were wonderful...the jetted tub is well worth the monthly rate! Thoughtful little additions like bath salts were waiting in the room. Breakfast was excellent both days, and meal service was very friendly and entertaining. The location is hard to beat, located in the heart of the nightlife, and along a dead end to a walkway, so vehicle traffic is at a minimum. The owners were great to interact to with, very accommodating and welcoming. I wish we had been able to have more opportunity to talk with them. If staying downtown, take advantage of the quiet streets in the early morning for a walk or jog too. Not having to worry about parking was another plus of the location. On our next trip through the area, we will be sure to stop by again!

The location of the Agustin Inn is great. It's close enough to walk everywhere. Unfortunately, that is the only great thing about it.
Our room was tiny. A queen bed filled the room with barely a foot of space on any side. A foot and a half in front of the bed, the other side of the room was completely devoted to a giant circa-80's jacuzzi tub/shower combo surrounded by plastic shower curtains. The rest of the bathroom was a sink off to one side and a toilet in a nook curtained off by a chenille window drapery on a rod. No door, no privacy. No closet. Only one nightstand the size of a postage stamp holding a lamp, a clock radio and a noise machine. No surface left to put down keys, a book, let alone a purse. No floor space to open a suitcase.

The room was in a corner of the building with two windows. One of the windows looked out onto a pub courtyard directly below with live music, Southern rock, playing from lunchtime until last call. The other window opened to the back of another business protected by security lights which shown brightly into our room all night long. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep or even rest.

The highly-touted gourmet breakfast began with a sheepish apology for the paper towels replacing napkins which they had run out of. The first course was a muffin crumbled up in a small dish called...."breakfast crumble." The "eggs benedict" was loosely poached eggs on soppy pieces of white bread, untoasted, floating in jarred hollandaise. Two thin and greasy recently-frozen sausage patties were served on the side. Overall a noxious meal we choked down half of and passed on altogether the second morning.

While we loved St Augustine, we will certainly never return to the Agustin Inn. At over $200 per night, it is an insult of an accommodation.

STAY HERE. Seriously. You won't find a better, more hospitable staff. Every single staff member here was FAN-FLIPPING-TASTIC. This place, from now on, will be our go-to inn. Location? Perfect. Rooms? Perfect. Staff? I'll say it again and again and again... Perfect.

Cannot stress enough that the location alone is worth staying here. Literally right off the main strip, with very good restaurants only a few steps away. We stayed for three nights and only had to drive to see the lighthouse; everything including the Lightner and the fort were at a comfortable walking distance. Breakfast was very good and so were the other included amenities. Staff is incredibly friendly and more than happy to help. There is a bar next door, but the provided sound machine and ear plugs were more than enough to ensure a good night's sleep. I will be returning on my next vacation.

We spent three days in St. Augustine and three nights at the Augustin Inn. We were promptly greeted by Dirk who was very welcoming and extremely helpful. During our stay we rented a scooter for the weekend and Dirk was very helpful in providing us with parking for the scooter at the Inn. Breakfast was amazing and was brought out by Dirk with such pleasant conversation. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will certainly be back.

This place was absolutely perfect! Staff was super friendly. Audra was great at check in and we told her we're vegan and Jocelyn knew about it when we came down for breakfast and Barb made this great vegan breakfast for us.

The room was very nice and we had our own espresso machine and a great big bathroom.

I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again.

We absolutely LOVED our time here this weekend. It was our first time visiting St. Augustine and the Agustin Inn was the perfect place to stay. The room was beautiful, and the small thoughtful accommodations were so appreciated like the sound machine, ear plugs, the warm fresh cookies and bottle of champagne! Now let me tell you how impressive the breakfast was. Amazingly delicious and moist Morning Glory muffins and the Eggs Benedict were phenomenal, mouth watering and full of flavor! This morning we had a fresh made strawberry smoothie and THE BEST French Toast! In the evenings, we could sit on the porch and listen to the live music down the street and we located right in the middle of downtown, super close to everything! We will be back for sure! Thank you Dirk for the wonderful service!

Could not recommend this bed and breakfast enough. Their staff was extremely friendly and helpful (especially for recommendations around town). The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect as it was right in the center of everything. Nothing took more than 10 minutes to walk to. Finally this place had amazing breakfast. We would sit outside every morning and enjoy a new menu. Again, could not recommend this place more.

They were also accommodating of my allergies with a smile and the coffee kept coming! Dirk was extremely welcoming and helpful and made our experience amazing! Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Pleasant place to have breakfast...freshly prepared, served in courses, not off a buffet like hotels. Best coffee I've ever had. This is an older home, but outside stairs provide a good escape in case of fire. The only downside: after you unload your car, you'll have to park a block away with a permit. You have to arrive before 8 pm, so you may have to pay $10-20 for a parking space in a closer lot and move to the permit lot after 9 or 10, when the area starts clearing out. Plan to purchase a Trolley Pass at a location near by and use the Trolley so you don't have to move your car at all until you are ready to leave. Otherwise you may lose your free parking space.

The location of this charming bed & breakfast cannot be beat. The parking is free, and even though it was blocks away, it didn't matter. We stayed two nights and walked everywhere we wanted to go from the B&B. The rooms are a bit outdated and needed some renovation. Our floor was missing a panel that needed to be covered, a light was not working, and the fan light kept going on in the middle of the night. Our room was the closest one to the bar next door with live music 7 days a week, but it didn't bother us at all since we were out and about most of the days. The service was exceptional. Everyone was so accommodating and very friendly. The complimentary cookies, coffee, Nespresso machine in our room, and of course free and delicious (2 course) breakfast each morning was the best part. Would absolutely stay here again.

First visit to this place. Easy to locate off the main road. Close to everything. When you arrive pull all the way down to the dead end and pull into the only parking spot in front. You'll be given directions to the real parking area which is a short walk. If you miss it and make the turn you'll have to drive a bit longer to try again.

We booked the Wellington (room 9) which is on the 3rd floor. Kind of small but really cozy. Modern amenities like a flat screen and USB ports in the clock. A jet tub and large shower area. We had a private balcony that faced a parking lot...not the best view. But it was nice nonetheless.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. I can only remember 1 name and it was Dirk. Nice guy and very helpful.

Food was great both days. Plenty of good coffee 24/7 and water and cookies. Free wifi.

We stayed here this past weekend as a last minute booking. Great location, loved the rooms. Restaurants, pubs, and shopping is all around us. And they were quite as well. The white noise machine was a nice touch as well. Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves was cool. The staff was fantastic. And finally parking. We had access to a private lot 2 blocks away. Although we didn't need our car, it was very nice knowing our car was in a lot, and we didn't have to hunt down parking, or feeding a meter somewhere. We're looking forward to a return soon.

The staff has been super friendly and helpful. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! Only negative was that it was really loud as our room was right next to a parking lot that people used as a cut through until all hours of the night on Saturday night. Definitely enjoying our stay here!

Awesome location for enjoying the nearby shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and kind. The Inn is a beautiful old place with lots of rustic nostalgia. My wife and I had an emergency call on our two day getaway, so we had to leave a day early. The owner persisted that he refund us half of our money back. Great folks!

My wife and I just spent 2 nights here for our honeymoon. The staff was very helpful and helped us with our luggage to our room. breakfast was amazing it was a perfect day to sit outside and enjoy coffee and a strawberry smoothie. It's close to everything and parking wasn't to far away when we had to go back to the car to get stuff we forgot. We stayed in room six the one with the dreaded bar outside the window I saw in earlier reviews that the music kept them up. We were warned but it was not bad at all the music was nice and didn't bother us and always stopped right at 10:30. We had a nice late night out with friends during our stay and never got locked out of our place.(also saw in erlier review) Pay attention to what the gentleman tells you when you check in and you won't have any issues. We will defentatley stay here again if we ever venture to st. Augustin.

I had a nice stay at the Agustin Inn and I would recommend it to others. The location is very close to the Fort and other attractions in the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a 24/7 complimentary coffee bar and often offer free snacks, champagne, cookies, etc. The breakfast was homemade, as were the cookies. The only downside would be the noise from outdoors, as there were many loud drunks in the neighborhood.

The inn is nice and in a good part of the area, The main house was perfect however as my wife and I found out the pet friendly room was originally part of the main house and later converted to a room. Still the bed was comfy. I would suggest staying in another room as I got a look at one of them and it was much nicer and cleaner than the one we had. Besides the fact that it was a pet friendly room you can not leave the pet there for any period of time while you re out so it defeats the purpose. We ended up having to leave our pup at home Still breakfast was amazing and the staff very accommodating. I won t knock the house for or the staff for our mistake.

After reading such positive reviews (which I'm starting to question the credibility of), I can't overstate how disappointed and shocked my husband and I were by our stay at the Agustin Inn. First off, we're pretty easygoing and I've never written a negative online review - ever - but I feel obligated to share our experience so others don't end up like we did. Not only were we LOCKED OUT of this inn that they leave completely unstaffed at night in 95-degree heat, unable to get anyone to answer our phone calls over numerous attempts, but after finally being let in had to sleep with BED BUGS that literally ate us alive all night. On top of that, the breakfast that came at the end of this sleepless night (that, as no exaggeration, bordered on sheer torture) was completely tasteless and no one there so much as gave a simple smile or even bothered to introduce themselves. The only two people who spoke to us were, to put it mildly, cold and inattentive. Like nothing I've ever seen in decades of vacationing, and certainly nothing you'd expect from what seems online like a nice B&B. Please save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere clean and friendly that actually cares about you as a customer.

We needed to get away and decided on this Bed & Br...

We needed to get away and decided on this Bed & Breakfast based on a friend's recommendation. We stayed in room 7 on the 3rd floor.

1) Location
It's as close to St George street as you can get! The inn is tucked right behind a very tasty ice cream parlor (and) a restaurant with an outdoor bar & live band (both on St George street). The inn is centrally located in relationship to St George street. We valued that a lot as we could get anywhere with ease.

2) Our Room
Excellent condition and very romantic. Everything was clean, and well taken care of. I preordered chocolate covered strawberries in our reservation and they were waiting for us. Delicious. Our room featured an "oversized jacuzzi tub for two" that was fabulous. Jets and everything! Some hotels have a little fold on the toilet paper.. this B&B had a beautiful bow tie! We still can't figure out how they did that!

3) The Live Band
Some rooms of the inn face the live band and some rooms do not. The band consists of a guitarist/singer and a fiddler. Excellent musicians. Our room was quite literally just feet away from this band. We could look down from our window and see patrons of the outdoor bar at a picnic table. Not a problem, except the curfew for the band is 11pm. That's better than after midnight, but we couldn't even consider going to sleep until after 11pm from the amped music. I did walk to the other side of the inn and it's considerably quieter. The website room description did say "Acoustic music may be heard from the nearby cafe". If you are a light sleeper, I'd consider getting a room on the EAST side of the inn (descriptions that do not mention the acoustic music).

4) Check In
There wasn't a whole lot of information on check in or check out, other than check in is between 3pm and 8pm. When we arrived, we didn't know the procedure. I had to call in to get the following information. If you are arriving, there is a parking lot across the little street from the inn with a parking space marked "Agustin Inn". This spot is for checkin only. We were met with a very nice lady from the inn who greeted us, checked us inn and helped us carry our bags to our room. She was fantastic the entire stay. After check-in, I had to move my car to one of the official parking spots. No big deal. Since this is right on St George street, its very important to park in their free spaces otherwise you could get ticketed or towed. Check out was a little confusing. We didn't know who to give the key to. We gave it to one of the waitresses and hoped for the best.

5) After Hours Access
There are doors with code locks everywhere. If you need to get in, just type the code and open the door. That's it! Pretty easy and effortless. They also had some treats (cookies, muffins) in a dish after hours. One of my favorites was bacon wrapped biscuits. Yum.

Final Thoughts
We would stay here again. Next time, I'd stay in room 5 (3rd floor). It's out of the way of everything and on the opposite side of the band. If you want to stay on St George street, this is your inn.

Clean rooms , wonderful breakfast, very nice friendly folks working there. Great location, can easily walk to every thing. Lots of near by restaurants, bars , and shops. Old fort 2 blocks away. Only thing I didn't particularly like was our rooms bathroom was open to our sleeping quarters, only a curtain for privacy for toilet. But very clean rooms. Bed was high off the ground. Would definitely stay here again.
