The team at Affiliates are incredibly dedicated to their work. The nurses are all very intelligent, friendly, and total pros at their job. I would feel 100% comfortable delivering a baby with any one of the doctors -- but Dr. Hanson is my favorite -- she has the bedside manner and sweetness of a teacher rather than an accomplished doctor! They're all great. I also appreciate their no-fuss, no-frills office, and their convenience to UVM. THANK YOU, AFFILIATES!

Always treated with respect and kindness. Entire team is professional and personable, but Suzanne is my favorite and has delivered exceptional care to me for many years. I have been going here for nearly 30 years and they helped me deliver all four babies. I would highly recommend them!
I have been a patient for 10+ years and have always received excellent care. Dr. Hanson is never rushed in the appointments even when the day is overflowing with patients and births. The nurses and staff have all been friendly and welcoming.
I always feel very comfortable. They truly care about you and what is best for you. If you need to have a test they explain what it is and why they feel you need it. They give you all the information needed if you need to make a decision about something. If you want an honest and caring doctor I highly recommend them. I've been a patient for about 20 years.
Dr. Lacroix is so sweet, kind, a phenomenal person. She came to the office after hours on a Friday, before a holiday, because my wife was worried and she just wanted to come in to do the test so my wife wouldn't be anxious over the weekend. She is very professional and caring. We felt we are definitely in good hands
I highly recommend this practice. I have been with Dr. Blake since I arrived in Burlington many years ago and have consistently had the best, most thorough care combined with compassion and a fantastic bedside manner. Everyone with the practice is responsive and caring. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment, even when it was last minute. The Affiliates doctors are skilled, dedicated to continuous education and devoted to providing the best for their patients.
Amazing. I needed to have an outpatient surgery for an ovary removal. From beginning to end, Dr. Blake and her team were kind, compassionate and caring. My pain was more than adequately managed, and I am forever grateful. I have been pain free since 3 days post surgery. Thank you!
I've been seeing Affiliates for over fifteen years now and I always have been well taken care off there. I usually see Dr. Lacroix, she delivered my first-born and she is just wonderful. Dr. Clifford delivered one of my babies and also did an amazing job. Suzanne has been great too. The nurses are kind and caring and the front office staff is helpful with scheduling. I highly recommend!
Dr. Blake truly is there just for the money and did not express concern about her patient. Dismissing any kind of irregular pains I had After double wait time. (No follow up or anything) My appointment was well running past 30 min as she stood in the hall way chit chatting. Very unprofessional. (this is just the minor things) Im sure the other doctors are fine but I am switching anyways because I am not running the risk of having her to be there when I give birth.
After being in pain with my medical condition, the doctor had the audacity to call my decisions morbid after crying for surgery. I've never felt so disrespected by a heath provider. I'd always thought I could always tell my health provider anything. I always thought they would be the last to judge me. Now I'm going to continue to sit here in pain because I dont want to be a morbid POS.
All three of my babies were delivered by Affiliates in OB/GYN. Dr Clifford delivered my daughter, my oldest. Dr Hansen delivered my second child, my older son. And Dr Blake delivered my third child, my youngest son, who was a C section. I have been a patient for over 12 years now. I have always felt respected, my opinion on my care mattered, and when it came to my delivery plan was implemented to the best of their ability. They were honest with me at 31 weeks with my youngest that he was breech, and there were not very good chances of turning him. We tried, and it didnt work. But it was honest, open communication. I would totally trust them with my care, and that of my daughter. Never had an entire office make me feel comfortable like this one does. Thank you affiliates!
This is the most amazing Ob/Gyn office I have ever known. The care I have received here since 2002 is exceptional in every way. I have always felt in such good hands, always listened to, always cared for to the highest degree- and the same can be said for my two beautiful babies (now 7 and 10!). I cannot say enough good things about this team. I feel blessed to have them in my life. Every woman deserves this kind of care.
I wanted to love this place. Everyone says to go here but personally I didn't have a good experience. I can definitely say that this place needs to be a little more personal and diligent with care. Dr. Clifford is cold and won't even call you back until three days later. I had appointments made with him and end up seeing other doctors. From front office staff to doctors they are not kind when you need them to be. I lost my baby and they had me wait in the waiting room for my first postpartum visit. Talk about pure torture. While other ob/gyn offices and even uvm hospital puts stillborn parents in another room to wait out of respect and kindness they didn't even say sorry for my loss. Regardless of what happened with my child, I still think this place is not ideal. There are better options out there. Do your research
I truly cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience has been with Affiliates! During my pregnancy and birthing experience I always felt like the providers had my back. They put my mind at ease and were always available for the many questions I had along the way. Nurse Midwife Julia Clayton and Dr. McCaffrey were a wonderful team during labor and delivery. Giving birth during the pandemic, visitors were not allowed at the hospital and we really felt like our providers were our substitute family during our hospital stay.
To say I had a wonderful experience with this practice would be an understatement. In addition to being wonderful medically, the physicians and nurses genuinely care about their patients. I felt respected and truly cared for throughout my pregnancy and beyond. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!
Dr Lacroix is best doctor I've ever had, I wish she could be doctor for everything. I had to get a procedure and was pretty scared but she's so tremendously nice and smart that I trusted her. II referre 5 of my friends to this practice and they all love who they see. Very intelligent and professional. Going to the obgyn is scary but with this practice you have nothing to worry about.
I've been a patient at the Affiliates in OB/GYN for nearly 12 years now. I chose them when I was having my first baby. I now have three daughters each delivered by a different practitioner--the first with Dr. Clifford, the second with Dr. LaCroix and my last by Dr. Blake. While each practitioner has a different bedside manner, they were all what I needed at the time. They knew my wishes for labor, but ultimately kept me and my babies health and safety first. I see Suzanne Scharf, their NP, for my annual visits now. She is wonderful, compassionate and professional. You really can't go wrong using these providers for your OB/GYN care.
This practice is amazing, I have always felt cared for and understood through the many years I have been a patient. Affiliates delivered both my girls one c-section and one successful VBAC, I highly recommend them to anyone no matter your OBGYN needs.
These guys are seriously the best! I started coming to them when I was first pregnant and am so happy I did. They have been nothing but professional and warm to me. They helped me tremendously to get through a tough last part of pregnancy and a challenging delivery and are still providing me with great post partum care. I feel very comfortable at Affiliates. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Affiliates in Obgyn Care to anyone who is looking for gynecological or obstetric care. I have been a patient of Affiliates for the last ten plus years and feel confident in the care they provide! With Affiliates, you are able to establish a relationship with not only one caring doctor but with several who will all be there every step of the way through family planning, pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Dr. Lacroix, Dr. Clifford, Dr. Blake, Dr. Hanson, and the nursing staff are knowledgeable, respectful, caring, and extremely professional but not to the point of lacking the skills to establish a meaningful relationship with their patients. The office staff and nurses are always available to answer questions you may have and the convenience, right across from the hospital, of their office is an added bonus. I have always felt that the staff and doctors at Affiliates in Obgyn care have not only cared about me but my family as well. I am so thankful for their support and for helping me bring three beautiful children into this world!
Everyone at Affiliates is so welcoming, compassionate and most importantly, accommodating. Dr. Hanson, Dr. Blake, Julia, Marci, and the rest of the team genuinely care about their patients and go out of their way to make everyone comfortable. The front desk girls are also caring and kind. I m a travel nurse from Ohio, I went here for pregnancy care while I was in the area since my medicaid didn t transfer states, this place has really good out of pocket prices & honestly I got treated better than I do at my primary obgyn in Ohio!
