My partner and myself have been waiting over an hour for a taxi to arrive after being advised that they would be here to collect us within 5-10 minutes. The hotel called them again to remind them and still did not turn up. We missed an appointment as a result and they could not even give us a reason for their poor service. A very unprofessional and unreliable company.

One morning my taxi never showed up and I was late for my work. When I got a hold of them they said they were really busy, even though my taxi was pre-booked.

Then at 3:15am this morning the company phoned to let me know that not a single person could come and collect me at 3:30am (even though I pre-booked again) and I was only given 15 mins notice, bearing in mind I start work at 4am.

Always use ABW cabs when we doing our "big shop" in Dalkeith. Always on time, and the best thing is every time we've used them, the driver will insist that we jump in while he loads all the bags into the cab. Definitely don't get that any where I've been. Thank you!

Really quick service and have good prices. I prefer this company over any other in Dalkeith as it is amazing and that they have really friendly drivers.

Ordered a Taxi for 6pm on Tue the 11 May Two weeks in advance, waited till 6.10 pm and phoned to ask where our Taxi was only to be informed that they could not get us a taxi for a wheelchair, leaving us high and dry, had to use own car so no drinks for me not impressed.

Brilliant company. Managed to get me a taxi at 0430 to the airport when another firm let me down. Quick to accommodate and well priced. Will definitely use again.

I have used this taxi company for years, never had any issues until it was taken over by another company. It's a hit or a miss with how much you pay now one time the journey will be metered and the next time the same journey is a set fare which is always more than the actual fare. Don't get told about the set fare when you book the taci which to be honest shouldn't be put on without a customer requesting it. Definitely will start using another taxi company from now on

DON'T USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE IMPORTANT TO GO! Called at 2.15pm to get to an appointment at 3pm (a 5 minute drive away). Told it would be about a 5 to 10 minute wait. After 30 minutes the taxi still had not arrived. Called back and told that nobody knew anything about the first booking. Told to wait another 5 minutes, waited 20 minutes and again, nobody arrived. Called up to cancel, given no apology or explanation. Missed the 3pm appointment to collect important legal documents and cannot arrange another before leaving the country tomorrow. Completely unreliable service!!! Called Swift Private Hire, the taxi arrived in less than 5 minutes. Too late to collect documents but had a lovely, pleasant and reliable service with Swift all the way to Edinburgh.

Booked taxi for a certain time well in advance and have now had to push our booking that we had at the destination back because of the they did not arrive on time
