It should still be called the Rose garden, but oh well. It's a great little stadium, and going to a blazers game is unforgettable. There are a wide array of food and beverage options, but the drawback is the cost,$12 for a beer is just insane. At least the selection is outlandishly awesome. Parking can be difficult, but sometimes you can park at the expo center lot, it's usually cheap and is a short walk.

It's a great venue if you like stadium shows. It's a good place to see big names but it's not intimate. The bartenders are a bit slow and lines are long, but it's an experience you should have at least once. Catch the Blazers, it'll be worth it.

Saw a comedy show here. Sat up in the 300 level, and everything was so unbelievably reverbed and echoey in the stadium that I could hardly understand what they were saying. Would've been an awesome experience seeing my favorite comedian, but I had to strain my ears to understand anything.

Moda Center is always amazing. Took my daughters to see Katy Perry earlier this month. They loved it. Highly recommend when seeing a concert where you take your kids that you sit at the top row. They have a ledge where the kids can go dance, and you can see everything!

I love seeing concerts here. But I don't like security not checking my bag properly with a flashlight. I had a BIG purse. I don't carry a weapon but BECAUSE my bag wasn't checked correctly. The metal detector didn't go off while wearing a lot of jewelry. *I felt very unsafe. *Not to mention a fight broke out, and I went to the bathroom to find out. More then 1 Women had knife on them. It was really difficult to enjoy the concert after hearing that. Plus the experience with my bag not being checked, the security guy said. "I DON'T WANT TO SEE NOTHING I DON'T WANT TO SEE." I was so beyond frusturated. Especially with gun control problems in the USA

Biased Review: Providence Park is the best stadium in town, BUT ... Moda Center is HUGE, and service is always nice. Of course it is expensive AF, but all stadiums are. The whole facility is huge which really helps the place not feel so crowded.

I meet at this place every Thursday for East Portland Rotary Club Meetings. It has fabulous lunches. Chef provides nutritious food. Caters Vegitarain and non Vegitarain meals. Easy parking at this building.

Came here for PK80 College basketball tournament a few weeks ago over thanksgiving and have been to several Portland Trailblazer games in past as well. It was a great time with family and the staff through out entire facility was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone in area looking for fun venue!

I liked everything except the stage lights hurt my eyes they were pointing horizontally at the audience and very bright. And the other issue was the concession counters were understaffed for the amount of people that were there.

Event was great but if they could have more visible directions back to the parking garage that would have been very helpful. Nothing is very well labeled there. Spent 20 minutes going into a circle trying to find the way to the damn garage. Needs a directory, arrows, just something or anything would be beneficial.

Went to go see The Black Keys tonight. It was my first time at the Moda and it was quite the experience. Overall iij loved the event, the light show was EPIC, and the keys were on firee! So if you got a band you love, this place will blow them up!

Recommend you buy parking tickets befire the event day when you purchase your event tickets. Drove down from Seattle and came here for the monster truck show about 5 months ago. Was just like any other Convention Center. Met all my expectations, parking was fine, navigating around to find our section and seats were easy, and getting out of the parking lot and back on the road went smoothly.

The concert was great but the staff was not very helpful. Gave us the wrong direction to our seats and an elderly couple stood in the aisle for 10 minutes looking for their seats without any help from the staff. We ended up helping them ourselves.

Large clean arena where the Portland trail blazers play. Sound system was also very good. Layout was fairly simple but some doors were locked when we were told to go in that direction. Ended up backtracking to get to seats. Restrooms were ok. Food pricey.

As a disabled person, The Moda center impressed me greatly. They had parking for us, a enterance that was just for ADA. The staff went above and beyond to help us. The seats were amazing. I want to personally thank you for making this event go smoothly, making it enjoyable, and the respect that was shown.

Moda Center is not a terrible venue. Parking isn't nearly as expensive as the Bay Area, but expect to pay around $20. Everything inside is outrageous as any stadium, but they switched from fountain to bottle Coke, which is good because it was always watered down. Anyway you'll pay $8-$10 for a 20 oz cola and $10 for a 12 oz beer. This was for concerts, I have never been to a sports event. I would imagine it's the same or more.

Love the food and drink choices. The cup holder between my legs on the seat in front of me is a game changer, as a big guy I could use a little more room in the seats. But the recently upgraded sound is amazing and so loud. Indoor pyrotechnics? You got it. Lighting? Lasers? Motorcycles??? You got it!

Fun venue for concerts. Large, fits people. Also good for sports. That's basically the two main reasons this venue exists. I haven't seen any Theater of The Clouds shows yet but I'm sure those are excellent too. Too bad I hate TicketMaster.

Great atmosphere, but very expensive vendors. It would be great if they offered cheaper options for food & drink. $9 is the cheapest beer found in the stadium, for example. While there are bountiful selections, not a single one caters to the budget. Maybe a factor of rent?

Concession lines are always too long and their website shows that they have way more vegetarian options than they actually do. The arena itself is nice, but if you want an extra beer, you'll miss half of the game.

It is used for basketball, ice hockey, rodeos, circuses, conventions, ice shows, concerts, and dramatic productions. The arena has a capacity of 19,393 spectators when configured for basketball.[2] It is equipped with state-of-the-art acoustics and other amenities.

I've been here several times to watch the Blazers play. It's a great place to watch a game and really liked the second level where my ticket included a $30 credit to spend on whatever I wanted.

How do you review a giant stadium venue?

How do you review a giant stadium venue?
The inside is what it is. I've seen many concerts, a few Blazer games and other types of events. It all seems to function pretty well. The sound is better than some, but it's still a stadium.

I can say that the food is definitely better than other giant venues. They had an excellent local craft cider (Avid) and many of the food options are also local, like Killer Burger. You may have to walk a bit to find those, so make sure you know what you want and where it is. Even the generic ones are decent, and they don't gouge you as much as they could (cough, Safeco Field, cough, cough).

Great place to watch the Blazers. But ticket scalpers are king here. Ticket resellers love to mass buy tickets and gorge ticket prices. I would not recommend buying tickets for concerts here.

I ve been in Portland for 3 weeks for training and the people here have been awesome, so myself and a few coworkers decided to go to Portland game and had a blast , went clubbing afterwards of course. So many things to do downtown Portland love this place, will definitely be back

Very nice venue. The number system for seat sections need better signage to help people find the best direction to walk in. If you study the map before going in you'll avoid walking around lost!
