Packed arena! One of the reps there said four teams call it home! The LA Clippers, LA Kings, LA Lakers and the LA Sparks. Much easier to get to with side streets than the highway, do not take the highway. Went to see a LA Clippers game and they won, it was great. Such a LA "staple" whether it's a game or a show you should visit. Photographers beware - I went as a group and they gave me a tough time in security. If your lens is longer than a credit card, there words not mine, it will not be easy. They will ask you to go to guest services. It was so packed and luckily the group made it easier because they understood I was shooting them and not the team, but if I'd been going just for a game it would've been a much bigger issue.

Went to see the Sparks basketball game, had never been before. The whole experience was great, good fun & entertaining especially since didn't understand the game. Food was lovely & restrooms very clean.

I'm not bias - but out of many arenas and stadiums I've been to, one of the best ones: great service, clean, bathroom lines are not that long, sections are easy to find. Fairly new. There are no bad seats.

The Staples Center is a beautiful arena. It is in the heart of downtown and even though my rival team plays there (LA Kings) I still had a great time. There are tons of places to eat and drink before and after the game, that you certainly will not be bored. There are plenty of hotels within walking distance as well that you can stay at for other events. From the moment you walk up, there are usually fun games, vendors and people to check out in the large open air foyer before you enter. Once you enter, it is a beautiful staduim with a very large capacity and nice seats. I do not think there is a bad seat in the house however, I was there just 1 night. We were in the club level so we had a server that always kept our drinks refreshed, however beware, you can rack up a pretty hefty tab very quickly if you are ordering without looking at the prices.

Laker games here are a premium experience, whether you sit in PR, behind the basket, up in the 300s, or a suite--I know bc I've had all of those experiences. (Alas, never courtside haha!) I have never once thought I had a bad seat, truly. I've been here countless times (also to see the Kings--another fantastic, yet somewhat different experience) and have always felt it was worth it. Bring a date or come with friends...music volume and lighting is always a party vibe. App connected to the team intro for the Kings was unlike anything I'd seen at other arenas.

Foodwise: Personally, I go Wetzel's (I mean, it's the same everywhere), Camacho's, or Ludo. There's regular beer and craft beer. There's fancy dining; there's a dessert cart for the suites that you can literally just collect all the treats you want. If you're in PR someone will just come deliver food to you (which is great when you get a seat way inside and don't want to climb over 10 people just to go get a snack). Just depends on your mood.

Ultimately, It's pricey no matter what you do but hopefully you got a deal on StubHub for your tickets. ;]

I am not a horse player or a gambler but with a $1 Sunday promo, I could not pass it up. That's right, it's $1 to park, $1 to enter, $1 for a race program, $1 for a 12 oz. beer, $1 for a Mimosa and $1 for a hotdog. I tired my luck with horse racing for the first time

Bruno Mars concert. Well staffed, easy access from every street just not well marked for visitors to know which entrance is theirs to walk through. Easy to spot from the street and very busy 24-7 with city traffic. Parking is available.

Best place to watch a game ever! The outside of Staples is as sweetie as the inside. The great Michael Copper was hosting several fan-based activities, while the Laker Girls were doing their thing. They had the NBA Championship Trophy displayed, chances to win a car, trips, cash, etc., etc.
Once inside the Staples Center, it was a party! From the music to the famous people to the game to the atmosphere. It was spectacular! What an evening!

Best place for concert, very good layout. I went to Panic! At the disco alone and I'm in my early teens. I found my seat quickly and the workers are very nice. The only thing is that the food and drinks are very expensive and for a venue

Amazing home of the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, Kings and Sparks. It's really historic being here and the atmosphere is intimidating for any teams coming to play. Statues of the Stanley winning LA Kings team are outside, as well as Kareem, Magic, and soon to be Shaq.

Used to be a Kings season ticket holder. The commute there took longer than the actual game its self because of the Godawful traffic. Tried riding the Red Line be during off commuting hours but lots of shady folks down there and we didn't feel it was a safe way to get to and from Staples Center. The management obviously feels political correctness is a way to please everyone all the time I just couldn't take it anymore. Not to mention the cost of even a bottle of water, so considering the negatives out weighed the positives I wouldn't recommend the Staples Center.
