Devin was super helpful and got our project on track quickly and worked with the insurance company so we didn’t have to deal with that hassle!

We had had another company come out and tell us our roof was fine a couple of days after the hail storm. Fortunately I didn t believe him. Later that afternoon I saw an advertisement for Advocate Construction When I called, Alex Ransome was there within thirty five minutes or so. He sat down and went into enough detail so that we could understand it. The installers were great very polite, I was completely impressed with the way they handled all the old wood, shingles, and vents. The most impressive thing to me was the way they handled detail. Without having to say anything they replaced all the brackets on the gutters. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a roof, and many other construction needs. Also our salesman Alex Ranson was the most helpful through this process. Neither my mother or myself had an understanding of all the things that took place to replace a roof. Alex explained things to us two or three times until we understood. One of the main things that impressed me was the fact he gave us his personal cell phone number and made himself available when we needed him. Also during the process he would stop by and make sure we were still happy with the situation. We are extremely happy with the work they did.

From the initial roof inspection to finished product Advocate made the entire process a breeze. They meet with the adjuster, worked with insurance company, and scheduled their contractor to do the work. The only thing I had to do was pick out what color roof I wanted and collect the insurance money. Ended up with a new roof and 2k profit because I had some dings in my siding I decided not to fix. Everyone I worked with (Luke was my contact) was very professional and courteous and answered my calls at all hours of the day. Would definitely reccommend this company others!

I selected Advocate Construction to replace my roof this summer and I m extremely pleased with the level of service and quality of the craftsmanship they provided. My initial consultation was with Andrew Altmann. He was knowledgeable about the insurance claim process and management of the work through completion. The process for submitting the claim, meeting with the adjuster, selecting the shingle color, and defining the scope of work was quick and easy. I was able to schedule the roof replacement when my family was out of town and they were very accommodating with my scheduling request. Our house and yard was left neat and tidy. Nate worked with us & our insurance company to get our roof replaced. Even though we were nearing their cutoff time for the season they were able to fit us in because we were trying to get our house sold. Great job on the cleanup & they were able to complete the roof in one day. Our gutters had to be replaced as well & Nate kept us informed due to them being backlogged. Once all work was completed we were able to show our home & sold it to first person that looked at it! I have to say Nate with Advocate was referred to us by my daughter in law. I would absolutely recommend them to all my friends & family.

Advocate was great to work with. Very responsive! In fact, I would get an immediate return call if I was unable to reach them. They communicated every step of the way with me and helped me with product selection, they were extremely knowledgeable about their product line. I would like to mention how professional the installers were. They completed their job 100% and it was better than my expectations. They cleaned up as if they had never been there and the workers were respectful of my family. I would not hesitate to recommend advocate for your next project. They have a salesman Lucas Hittner that is one of the nicest, most genuine/honest people that I have ever done business with....and I'm a very very skeptical person and try to do as much research in checking things out before I make decisions.... I had a ton of questions and basically asked him as many questions as I could possibly think of. He answered all them without hesitation. Super to work with. He went through the whole process of how all of my possible new roof would be handled.....all the way from sitting down and contacting my insurance company to get the ball rolling. Very impressed with Advocate! Did a great job replacing our roof. Two or three years later we had an issue. Called Advocate and they had someone to our house in two hours who fixed the issue on the spot. Turns out it was unrelated to their work but he took care of it at no charge. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. Fair prices, great work and great customer service.

After a bad storm in Spring 2020 it was brought to my attention that I had some hail damage to my roof. Nate S. and the team at Advocate Construction took care of me. I had to argue with my insurance company a little, and they were very helpful and supportive. When the day finally came to have the roof put on, it was done in a day, but they came back the next day for another round of cleanup. My gutters and downspouts were done at a later date, but I was pleased with those as well. My case was certainly not typical as I had a special request beyond code, and my house incurred some damage but Advocate made it right. I would hire Advocate again for future projects.

They were in constant contact with me from day one of the process and continued to be there until the job was complete. Employee from this business was nasty and rude. Was asked to wear a mask inside a restaurant and was observed being maliciously rude to the employees. Continued to pull his mask down while talking to employees after countless times of them asking him to keep it on. Stormed out after not getting his way. They should be more careful about the people they re employing.

My roof had received wind and hail damage from a recent storm. As a first time homeowner, I was unsure about the process of getting a roof replacement. Fortunately, I was able to work with Robbie who was able to explain the problems and the steps that would be needed to take care of it. He was very patient and honest answering my questions.

DO NOT USE THIS HORRENDOUS COMPANY!!!! Long story somewhat short, this terrible company pressure sold my 80 year old mother a new roof. I wasn't living in the state at the time, and wasn't able to be there to inspect it myself for her, which would of saved her a lot of greif, but those vultures came around after a storm and said she really needed a new roof. Not knowing much about such matters, she agreed to it, and they told her they would work with her and her insurance. Unfortunately, I came back to visit soon after they "installed" the new roof. IT HAS TO BE THE ABSOLUTE WORST ROOFING JOB I'VE SEEN DONE BY SO CALLED "PROFESSIONALS." Not only does the roof not look right just standing on the ground and looking up at it, but in my mother's open screened in porch, there are roofing nails protruding through the ceiling slats that are used in open ceiling designs. They quite clearly didn't measure anything, and used far too large of nails. Now her beautiful screened in porch looks like a mess on the ceiling. What kindly horrible people prey on the elderly. They should seriously be ashamed of themselves.

We are quite happy with our roof and the finished product. Pleased that we used this company who worked quite well our insurance to get us covered as promised. Zero stars on this one. Please please please stay away from these guys at all costs. Friendly canvassing sales team, but it stops there. The installation crew did not step flash anything which caused several water leaks. They broke almost all of my bottom rows of siding and JChannel but did not bother to tell me. The icing on the cake however is that they billed my insurance company for code items such as ice and water shield and drip edge, but did not install any.**Edit**(they claimed that they have photos of ice and water shield being installed (which is great, no issues there). This is flat out fraudulent and this company should lose their license in my opinion over something like that. DO NOT work with them. ****Update 12/3/2020 - The sales rep, construction manager who patched some of their sub-par flashing, and then the sales and production managers for the St Louis market stopped by today. I was under the impression this was to resolve the issues at hand, however instead the sales manager immediately began berating me for this review. The attitude presented was extremely aggressive, and after pushback from me they essentially attempted to position themselves as victims since I didn't call them before outlining the situation at hand for prospective clients. Rather than discuss possible resolutions, Advocate's stance is that this was a simple "mistake" and that they will pay back my insurance company as resolution. In terms of construction; they then claim that by bending down some of my fascia wrap, this constitutes as drip edge and the roof is sound. Do a bit of research on current code and proper building practice around drip edge and you'll be certain that this is not something that should be done to prevent saturation of fascia board and roof sheathing. I am still in pursuit of a just resolution here and to get my new roof weather proofed. I will update if this is made right. ****Update 2/27/2021 Ill defer to Facebook here, as they engaged in a several day contentious debate about work done and semantics there. Most absurdly, the Saint Louis manager canvassed my neighborhood today telling neighbors that they had contacted me to make things right. They asserted that they had cleared this situation up and that I promised to remove this review. To ANYONE who hears something to this tune, its 100% a lie. The last things spoken to me from this manager were profanity and accusations as I kicked them off my property. This company is a complete joke, at least the folks who run the St Louis market are. Such a shame that a larger construction company like these guys has to lie to customers to find business. To date, I have deferred negotiations to insurance, and Advocate immediately forfeited funds to Nationwide for the fraudulently billed work, but have yet to take any accountability to me or offer solutions to the incompetently completed work. If this review remains posted, this issue persists, dont believe any lies this sales manager tells you.

Ryan High is the ONLY reason we have a new roof! He "door knocked" us in early August. Ryan was working in the area and had several hail-damaged roof replacement jobs going. Ryan inspected my roof, helped me with the call to my insurance carrier, was here with Steve Pennington to meet the roof adjustor and walk me through the entire process. Ryan always returned my calls and texts within minutes. Ryan is very thorough, professional, punctual and considerate. The Advocate Roofing Crew was on time. JOB COMPLETE IN ONE DAY! My wife and I are very grateful that Ryan and Advocate Construction showed up on our front porch. We will refer Ryan and this company to our friends and relatives.

Called three times and left a message over the course of a week. They never contacted me about getting a bid.

We had drips in our basement coming from the inside of our furnace and water heater flue when it rained. We called Advocate Construction who had installed our roof about five years ago. Ignacio, one of their construction managers, was at our home within 30 minutes of our call. He inspected the flue, applied sealant and then went about inspecting our entire roof and all remaining flues and vents. He spray-painted all of the flues (five of them) flat black which was a major improvement. Ignacio was very polite, professional and took his time answering our questions. We could not be happier with the service and care Ignacio and Advocate Construction showed us today. They are top notch!

Ryan came and inspected my roof and realized that there was hail damage. We got an insurance adjuster out and my insurance company paid for most of the roof. Ryan was very responsive and always on time. We ve had plenty of rain since the roof was installed with no issues.

Hopefully this will help others! Roofing companies IMO are a dime a dozen and it s hard to know when you have found a good company or a company with a good sales pitch. I just got a new roof through Advocate Construction and I highly recommend them. Their business model is unlike any I ve seen or heard about. They have educated themselves on working with insurance companies to help us get the best opportunity for a fair evaluation for a roof replacement covered by insurance. They leverage a full team of experience and take a lot of the burden off the homeowner, they made sure to actively work with the adjuster to advocate on my behalf (hence the name of the company). Thru the replacement process, I honestly cannot tell you how many people came out at various times to take pictures, confirm condition prior to install, quality checks before and after the installation and then a clean process for closing out. Everything they told me they would do they did and there were no surprises along the way. Getting a new roof was a very stressful thought for me and I had spoken with several different companies, friends, contacts... along the way. It wasn t until I talked with them that I realized that they had a unique approach which is a miss by other companies and I badly needed that expertise. I knew going in there were no guarantees that insurance would cover it but IMO this was my best shot. I am not related to or affiliated with this company, I simply want to pass along this information to help others needing a new roof in STL.

Thomas Rubino has provided "WOW" customer service from day 1. He has been very professional, courteous, thorough, and is a great listener! My wife and I are so grateful that we have Thomas as our contractor!!! Also, Thomas made multiple trips over to our house (leak in the roof and assist with insurance photos) on his day off. That being said, Thomas has definitely went above and beyond!!! Hopefully, our claim will be approved. I d like to take a minute just sit right there I ll tell you the story about my advocate repair.... in west Charles born and raised in my drive way is where I spent most of days. I was out side mowing when a salesman pulled up. He stepped out the truck said he loved my neighborhood. He hopped on my roof and said this is no good, so we called triple A and they understood. I asked him for a card and when it got near It said Nate Steffler is your guy for roof repair. And I yelled hey Nate see ya later! He pulled up to the house about 5 or 6 times just make sure it was all good! He and his boss took great care and that is the story of my advocate repair -Nate and Kevin thanks for all the work on the roof, it went great and I highly recommend them to anyone in the market. Stand up guys. My wife and I have only owned a home for a few years and this was our first time going through the process. Would have been very easy to take advantage but instead they walked us through the process every step of the way

A salesman approached me while I was mowing the grass and asked if I had any roof problems. I usually don't talk to salespeople, but he was very nice and not pushy and said it is a free estimate. So I told him he could have a look around. He was able to share valuable information, guarantee his work, and work with our insurance. The salesman called my insurance company right there and then and he basically took control talking with the insurance company and provided great details of what was wrong with my roof. I was so happy not to have to deal with my insurance company alone. We made a claim and the insurance adjuster and the Advocate adjuster came out 4 days later. I got approved and received my construction date. The only thing I had to do was pick out my roof color. Advocate Construction did everything from start to finish. The construction crew came out a week later and my roof was finished in one day! It took only 3 weeks from making a claim to them finishing my roof. I would highly recommend this company. They did an amazing job.

I learned about Alex S. and Advocate Construction from a friend. He came to inspect our roof, found hail damage and helped get us through the claims process. Our insurance adjuster agreed with his assessment, so we had both our home and barn roofs replaced! We only had to cover the deductible! The crew worked very hard and did a fantastic job. The plants and landscaping were covered and the cleanup was thorough. A supervisor came afterward to inspect and ensure an excellent job was done. Very professional organization; they arrived on time and installed the roof in an extremely timely manner; cleaned up the entire yard when they were finished; got the entire job done in a day. The office personnel were great to deal with. I would highly recommend Advocate Construction.

2 weeks after roof replacement due to hail damage - no issues to report. We worked with Kent Kirby during our roof replacement after it was damaged by hail. Kent was quick to answer calls/texts and handled most of the conversations and paperwork with our insurance company which was great. The roof replacement was done in under a day, and no errant nails or trash have been left. Overall a quick and painless process.
