used to go with my family when i was a kid all the time before we moved to texas
It's small and some rides are dated but when you look at it through the eyes of a little kid it's a great place. My son enjoys the rides he can go on and they don't usually have very long lines so it's easy to go on over and over again without a long wait.
I like this place because it have a scary ride and it like a haunted house.
Long lived local amusement park. Decent rides, food and games.
I want to use the hurricane roller coaster, I don't like the new one!!!
The place itself is very nice but the small parking lot mixed with the high price of the Play all band earns this place a 3 star. The lines were very long for each ride. I was only able to take my kids to about 4 rides each. They do cool the playgrounds with a water mist which helps a lot to stay cool on the hot days.
Also a lot of complaints from parents that the bungee jumping ride is not included in the Play all band. It was an additional $5 that you had to pay cash.
The rides are a bit aged and the kids they have providing customer service show little to no interest in their jobs.
I had a great time w.my daughter, siblings & friends! We enjoyed the rollercoaster rides . Be prepared to spend some $ because it cost 32.99 per person lol but it's free admission to walk around if u don't plan on going on the rides
I had a lot of fun. When I get home my head was like shaking I can't control myself. I luv it.
Excellent fun park...the park is not too big; perfect size filled with plenty of attractions. Great for families with young children and teens..even grown ups can enjoy...the food quality is good too...nice arcade...cool family fun. Great place to celebrate birthdays.
Also there are plenty of benches and chairs throughout the park to rest.
This is a very fun and safe environment to take your kids to.
It's a nice park, but what the hell is up with the price of the rides?!
No fee for parking. Free to get in. Have rides for all ages. Food is expensive. They do not allow outside food. My child loved it at age 4.
So much fun! They get extra brownie points for giving discounts to children with disabilities! Kudos adventureland!!!
Came Here as in a School Trip I'll rate it a 5, But I didnt ride on 2 of the rides because One Beoke and the other some Random Kid Vomited On the Boat, But Overall It was fun You Should Try the rollercoaster that spins that sh*t Was Crazy Y'all
There are a huge variety of rides there. They have little kiddy rides and big kid and adult rides. Its really fun but u can get sick there really fast. Their food court has pizza chicken nuggets and fries with side orders.
Great for kids and family time, things for all ages to there
Great small time park with fun rides for the kiddies, keeps them happy so I don t have to run to 6 Flags or Disney World! We have always had a fun day here.
Definitely come after 2 during the summer to avoid long lines because of camps. Food is reasonable, beverages are a bit pricey but they sell refillable cups for an extra price which are good for the whole season. Bring extra cash for the game room.
While small in scale, lots of things to do. Very comfortable environment!!
It's kind a like roller coasters lots of foods and thrills things like that.
A very fun place to go but not a very big one, would reccomend. You can ride everything within 2 hours.
I hear a lot of complaints of the parking and I say to that is it's not there fault that the park is great also my school is going there the whole 5th grade is going but I won't say the name of my school tho it's in June
There are alot of ride my favorite one is the turbulence and Frisbee and there are 3 rides that you can get wet
Love going here. So many things to do. Kids have fun and never want to leave.
Much nicer and cleaner then I remember from when I was a child
I love it because all the rides are spectacular and it's so much better than carnivals because they can break and adventure land is locked in and checked before the park opens
I was having a wonderful time until I exited the Frisbee ride and was approached by a very very rude security personnel by the name of Jennifer. I paid for 8 people to enter the park, the attendant placed bands on ever one wrist including my 9 months old grandson.....so one of my grand daughter needed an adult to accompany her on the Frisbee ride so I took the band of my grandson and went on the ride....after exiting the ride a rude young girl approached me and asked for my band I then took it from my pocket in no time she had her hand in my face reprimanded me as if I was a thief I then walked over to my family where she continued to insult my character and her colleagues cheering her on.....very disrespectful young girl.....but overall the park is a bit pricey but fun....
A little too expensive, It takes so long to get there as well if you live far away from famingdell.
The rides were updated and clean. They were fun and the employees were friendly. I can't wait to go again!
Fun! Went to a friends birthday party for her daughter. They did a nice job.
great little amusement park on Long Island if you don't want to travel to Great Adventure or anywhere off the island decent rides for younger kids mostly fun games bigger than you think and definitely can spend a few hours yet easily
I love it here! They got rides for everyone! And the staff are very polite and friendly. The events are a blast! My family has been going for generations and it is a place of wonderful memories.
Best place to face fears safely & have some amazing Memories at the same time. Lots of Laughs & Fun!!!
Great place but wish I new when it closed and opened
My.kids loved the place, now my grandkids love it. Nice selection of rides, food and games
Lovely place for the kids. So sad it is currently closed. I am posting some pictures from last year. It was so much fun to be here.
We loved all the rides. It's pretty big enough to spend a whole day with family
It was a very nice time can't complain bout anything
We visited adventureland on a Tuesday from 11am to 9:30pm and the kids had a great time! There is a good selection of baby, kid and adult rides, something for everyone. Many rides require the person to be at least 48" to ride and some rides 52". Kids can ride with an adult if under. Some of our personal favorites were the Mystery Mansion, but the line is usually long and moves very slow. The dragon roller coaster was super fun, exciting for young kids but wont make the parents sick. We did eat there, food was average and a bit pricey, $30 for 3 people eating small burger, fries and drink. But thats to be expected at any park. The park does allow you to pack your own lunch and snacks and eat at their outdoor umbrella tables, a good option to save a few bucks. I would also suggest bringing a change of clothes as the water rides will get you wet and in some cases soaked! If you forget the clothing change, they do have a "drying booth" for $5 you can dry up. Adventureland also offers the typical carnival games as well as an indoor arcade. Such a fun place for kids and parents, be sure to check it out!!
The rides are really fast and scary many people threw up on almost all the rides
They've changed so many rides here. It's always been a pretty park but now it's even better!!
Great amusement park for kids, although there are also a few rides for teenagers and grown-ups. Look for groupon deals before coming, and also consider the season pass if you'll be coming at least four times for the season. Also, invest in the reusable Adventureland bottle so you can get $1 refills all season. Once the lot is full, parking is also available at Citibank next door. Food isn't too overpriced, and there are lots of different options available (although most are of the fried variety). Prizes offered at arcade aren't anything special, but good enough for kids. Train ride, trampoline, and a few other attractions cost extra, but 90% of things to do are free. For hot summer days, there are three water rides. Awesome and safe place to bring kids for Halloween (LI vendors set up booths and give out candy in exchange for free publicity).
Perfect summer day outing for the kids. Lines aren't too long. P O P is def worth it for the kids, $25. Each ticket without the bracelet is about $1.50 and each ride needs from 3-5 tickets so bracelet is the way to go. Food is not over priced and taste prettying good as well.
I really love taking the kids here. We have been coming for years. Bad experience today for 50% off POP day, very long lines for bracelets waited 45 mins, with only 2 lines open till they finally opened more lines and staff was taking people from behind us to move to quicker lines. Was very unorganized. I will assume they did not expect these crowds on a week day with only some schools closed. I still give it a 4 stars as this was only 1 day out of many great times that I have brought my kids here.
Rides were fun. It was easy to get around. Food was a bit over priced but other than that everything was great.
Awesome family friendly fun with a good selection of rides and a huge arcade if the weather isn't agreeable.
