Adventure X Boat Tours Review

Excellent tour, super friendly crew, experience of a life time .We had ten friends and family on the boat. It was a Manta ray snorkel trip. We had 3 huge Mantas doing back flips within inches of us ... For over half an hour.

I am recommending adventure x crew and tours to everyone! They really added to the experience. The other tour company had a crusty old geser barking at people. I was soooo happy we did not end up with that company. Go with adventure x!

I tour itself was arranged very professionally and the crew members were great. However, I think the tour company should only start the tour when there is a decent chance of seeing a whale for the season, this particular season they mentioned the whales were slow to migrate. Having known this the company shouldn't have started the tour. It was a big disappointment/waste of our time/waste of our money. I understand the end of Dec is a big holiday season for to make $$$. If there is really low chance please don't offer the tour.

Was there last year, 2017, and will be there again in a week... all I can think about is this place. This is why you come to Hawaii!

The Adventure X Dolphin Tour was a top experience of 2019. I can't wait to come back and do it again in 2020!

Outstanding crew and phenomenal whale and dolphin sightings. We took the 8 am. tour and saw an amazing amount of whales. Many swam close to our boat (our captain was careful to stay the minimum distance away from the whales when driving).

This was our second time with Adventure X and truly enjoyed each time.

We took the afternoon whale watching and snorkeling adventure. Captain Casey was both informative and enjoyable. Lindsey was very knowledgeable about the whales. We were not able to snorkel due to the surf that day. There were several returning guests. I would recommend this adventure for anyone.

This was an amazing experience, I would use them over and over again for my adventures. The crew was chill, fun, experienced, well versed in their craft, and made our day extraordinary! They got us in last minute on a tour and exceeded our expectations in every way. The only downfall is 3 hours is never going to be long enough because it is such a wonderful experience. We thought 3 hours would be hard to get through, but by the end I didnt want to leave!

Best boat tour ever! Top-notch, quality, professional service, but at the same time personal and welcoming. I enjoyed a wonderful dolphin, whale, and turtle snorkeling trip with Adventure X on Christmas Day. The captain and crew were welcoming, helpful, and had so much interesting knowledge to share about the ocean and marine life! I got to see my first whales on the island, snorkel in a beautiful coral reef with sea turtles, and enjoy the fresh air and wind in my face. It was such a peaceful and relaxing way to spend Christmas morning. Thank you, Adventure X team!

Once in a lifetime adventure! Guides were friendly and knowledgeable, the process was easy and safe, the guides helped us while we were in the water. And the manta rays were incredible!

What an amazing day! We saw dolphins, turtles, whales and plenty of tropical fish. This company is A++ with a great boat and staff. We would definitely do a trip with them again.

Truly a class act!!!!! My wife and I took a quick weekend snorkeling trip and we couldn't wait to write this review as the tour is something we will be talking about for a very long time. The crew made us feel like we were a group of cousins on a weekend dolphin search. Safety was at the forefront of the crew brief. Not just safety of the guest, but safety of the world ocean and the animals that make a home there. From the music, to the boat ride, to the snorkeling, and most important the crew... we hit the jackpot selecting this tour. My wife and I send many thanks with much Aloha!!!!

Hands down this tour is amazing! I researched a lot before booking as I knew snorkeling with dolphins was top on my list for our trip. We went on june 24th. The captain & ladies on our trip were awesome (sorry I am horrible at remembering names). They were always ensuring everyone was comfortable, had enough time to see the dolphins and snorkel as well as ensuring safety of those in the boat as well as the dolphins. They even pointed out turtles and dolphins from the boat so we were always looking in the right direction while in the water. They had fun noodles for anyone that wanted while in the water which my kids loved (ages 9&11). We didn't feel like this was just yet another tour for theme to hurry through to make their money, we really felt their joy in what they do every day and we're made to feel welcome! Thanks for the great memories Adventure X!

Incredible day out with Captain Casey and her crew. Very professional tour which got us up close to the dolphins and turtles. Great crew who were very personable with our family and made sure we all had the experience of a lifetime. Well deserved 5*s - can't think what they could do better!

WOW!!! Did not expect to see so many whales. Captain Tess and First Mate Lindsey where exceptionally knowledgeable and so excited to share. This company is top notch! I would highly recommend traveling north of Kona to book with this company.

After researching (a lot), I was not disappointed that we chose Adventure X for a whale tour in March. I was so impressed with Captains Mike and Casey. They remembered names and were concerned about everyone's comfort and hydration. I was impressed at how they engaged kids and really cared about their guests. They were kind, patient, and smart. The boat was comfortable, and Casey made sure everyone was in a happy spot; I loved sitting on the edge of the raft like a missile. Dolphins & whales; listening to Jack Johnson; enjoying yummy banana bread, pineapple and cookies; seeing the beautiful island landscape = a divine morning. Mike later came to our aid when our rental car wouldn't start. He is a top-notch human! Casey as well. Highly recommend this company.

We have done several trips on different islands. This was by far the best. Staff was fun and engaging. Casey and Tess (captains) and crew were all about giving us a great time. We went on the manta ray tour one night. Returned 2 days later for a double whale watching tour. Saw great action. They are saved for future trips.

Our trip was awesome! The crew were super nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable. We had two whales airborne for about 1/2 hour, a few times with them both airborne. Spectacular, once in a lifetime adventure! A+++

Went whale watching 3 times, and each time saw some wonderful whale action. These guys know their whales, and are passionate about them. Highly recommended.

Excellent time on dolphiin swim. Went with our kids. They are still taking about it. Got to see a bonus whale sighting.

Did the manta rays tour but unfortunately didn t see any manta, the mantas are not guaranteed and you can not rebook. Didn t seem highly motivated to make sure you actual see any mantas nor do they seem to care if you don t. I d recommend a different place that seems more motivated for you to see something. Also the snacks after were subpar :/ especially for not seeing anything.

Great whale watching experience today we felt comfortable, safe and well cared for and yes we saw lots of whales in the area and even listened to them sing!

If you need people who are just curious like you in seeing whales these guys are the right place to go. Since they take smaller group you get a personalized experience. They showed the same excitement like us on seeing a whale. They know where to take you and give tips on how to spot a whale. We saw a lot of whales. One swam right under our raft while we were surrounded by 2 more whales. We saw calves breaching and a lot of beautiful tails. The tour was originally for 2 hours but it was almost 3 hours when we returned. They take time to make each tour worth it. On our trip we were the only newbies while all others were repeat customers.THEY ARE THE BEST.

I've been lucky to go to Hawaii almost every year for the past 18 years and each we have taken one or two trips with Captain Casey and Adventure X. It is always a highlight of the trip for me and now for my three daughters. Casey and his team are terrific and wonderfully accomadating. Both the whale watch and the swim with spinner dolphins are reccomended. You can't go wrong with either.

Wow!!! A fantastic experience! My husband and I went out with Adventure X on Saturday, Jan16th. Were we in for a treat! The crew is really nice, and knowledgable. The food from Lava Java was great! The ride on the boat was not too slow or fast - just a nice pace for enjoying the ocean. But the BEST was seeing whales! We spotted them quite a ways off so our driver headed right to them. We respected the policy regarding approaching too close but we could definitely see breaching whales! I caught nine breaches on my camera and numerous slaps of their fins, as well as tales! It was magnificent! We were so happy we went! I highly recommend Adventure X.

Great experience!!! Saw three moms and babies and our wonderful gal skipper found a competition group of guy whales. They were spouting a lot, rolling up and down in the water and like a parade one after another did tale flips. Best whale watching trip ever. We will be back. This was our third time with them, it is worth the drive!
