Hope is a wonderful place that offers food for those who do not have any, housing and counseling for those who need it, and hope for hundreds of people that they can restart.

Horrible staff and volunteers! Very long wait list a lot times for beds. Safety conditions are terrible. Too small of building to house lots of people the city grew up too big for them. Some times okay food and lot a times u just don't like their food options but u got eat or starve. Unless their great restaurants or outside volunteers who bring awesome and great smelling and tasty food. Some there outbreak of bed bugs.

We volunteer here every month and the staff are always welcoming and have a great attitude. You can tell they care about what they're doing!

I am a resident here. The program asks that you give them 6 months to transform you to livivg in a christlike manner. You are held accountable by staff as well as your peers, (other residents). You are unable to work for 6 months but all essential items are provided as well as 3 meals per day. If your looking for a bed to get off the streets or a place to rest before your next binge THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU.

It's a really good place to get yourself together with God and they help with substance abuse program core programs it's not only for men it's also for women with children father's with children families they help you get back on your feet if you got to want it

What an Amazing Place! Serving the South Bend Community In So many Ways! From the Soup Kitchen to Housing Men, Woman, and Children who suffer from Homelessness, Addiction, Abuse, etc. to providing weather Amnesty during the winter months. Hope Ministries is a Blessing To So So Many People. Definitely a Wonderful and Worthy Organization to Volunteer for or Donate to!

Great place helps people to get back on their feet trys to help drug addicts

They offer NA and AA meetings(Narcotics Anonymus & Alcoholics Anonymous). Friendly and welcoming to any and all people, and if you don't find the help you want, they can send you in the right direction.

I never been there but my brother is there in I talk to him every night. In he says it's the best program he's been to.

I actually ate there for the first time in the food wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but you have to deal with a few drunk people that's the only bad thing about it

Went there with some friend's to help deliver thanksgiving dinner to people in need. It was a very fulfilling I felt very blessed to be able to do that and would love to do it again.

I never lived here but i know someone who works here and i would say its the best shelter in town to help get on your feet..its for men women and children,private rooms and a list of programs that are actually helpful to getting you on your feet. 9nce moving out they can help with bills furniture clothes..they also have huge storage spaces for the residents. One space was full of family dollar goodies like detergents and soaps that they were allowing a resident to sell

I absolutely love this place! I personally think that this is one of the best shelters that I have ever seen! They service families, single women, and single men. They even feed the public lunch and dinner 365 days a year! Families have their own apartment with keys and single women share a pod with three other women. They have their own room with a key. They do ask that you attend simple classes and chapel but rent is free for 18 months if you follow a few simple rules. It's definitely a hand up and the staff there is Awesome!! There are so many other things like a computer lab, fitness center, laundry center, kitchenette in the pods, and awesome chapel services. All of this is free for people who want to change their lives! Go see for yourself.
