Adriatico s is a fantastic pizza place located in a great area on Ohio State s campus. The environment inside is incredible and the food there is extremely tasty. Whether getting pizza, wings or something else you will definitely enjoy the meal. Regarding accesibility at this building, it is very well designed to account for most disabilities. It has handicap accessible doors and a ramp for wheelchairs to the lower seating area. Lower seating for those who may need it. Regarding non-physical disabilities, it can be a little loud in the restaurant at times, but wasn t too loud. Overall this is a great place to stop for some great food. It can be accessed and is open to all and somewhere to definitely stop at if you need some food and have some time on campus!

First time here and our experience was good! Dining room is super, duper small! Pizza was delicious! Perfect amount of cheese and sauce...maybe cook the Sicilian pie a little bit longer. We got an antipasto- basic but good! Definitely will return but for take out instead.

Awesome pizza! I drive down to pick it up once or twice a year for football games... It was a lot easier when we were college students and could just walk over.

The sauce has just a touch of spice (get extra, it's worth it), and the big, thick slices are great for a group.

OK, I have loved Adriatico's since I found it as an OSU undergrad 20+ years ago. Their deep-dish pizza is the best I've ever had - an amazing crust, just-spicy-enough sauce, amazing toppings (REAL sausage and huge pepperoni). But this is about how they go beyond the best pizza I've ever had...

I came in with my kids after a day at COSI, tired and hungry. Ordered a "regular crust" pizza. It comes out...and I see that "regular" is thin crust. I apologize profusely and say I assumed (because I love it) that deep dish was regular (totally my fault, I hadn't read the menu) and the waitress falls completely on the sword, says she should have clarified because people make the assumption all the time, says we can have it remade. I apologize more, thank them. and ask for breadsticks because the kids were already bound for hangry town.

Within 2 minutes, the waitress is back, and asks if we want to snack on the original pizza since they were going to throw it away anyway. So we accept, give the kids "appetizer pizza" and breadsticks, we still manage to put away most of the deep dish. Didn't charge us extra, no nothing, just total kindness and understanding the look in a father's eyes that says "I screwed up." If I didn't already love this place...

The pizza is very good along with the meatball subs. The sauce has a special taste to it which I'm not sure is a red pepper or something like that. As a New Yorker this is very good pizza. Also it's great that it's right across from campus Medical Center campus.

False advertisement here folks! Listen the pizza was not bad and service was good. The place has a nice ambiance but i will tell you as a guy who lived in NYC and NJ for 8 years this is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like NY style pizza. If the owner sees this - Please change that ad. Or change it to upstate NY style pizza.

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!! I called from out of state to have pizza delivered to a friend at work for his birthday,. Adriatico's was THE only choice for Columbus pizza. What better surprise for a best friend's birthday. Unfortunately, the location was slightly outside the delivery zone, and, even after speaking with the manager, my purchase was refused. I regret spending so much of my own money on their pizza

An update: within 12 hours of this posting, I heard directly from Greg Fortney, the person who opened Adriatico's in 1986. He directly addressed the issue and the circumstances that led to my criticism. I'm completely convinced this was a one-off - an extremely rare happening that, through training and awareness, Greg has taken solid steps to guard against in the future.

I understand now why Adriatico's New York Style Pizza continues to be one of the best-regarded and best-loved restaurants in Columbus. I'm also convinced that businesses like this are the kind that actually do care about their customers. My regards, and best wishes for a prosperous 2020. CM

It's important to care about your customers. Arrived today shortly after noon, ordered and paid for two medium pizzas to go. Not bad - one thin and the other Sicilian crust, with good fresh toppings. Sit down to wait for the order to be prepared - and am promptly and permanently forgotten. My two pies had been prepared and baked, then sat. And sat. And sat. Chip, who took the order, couldn't keep track of it, even though I was like about 10 feet away from him and the cash register. 45 minutes after the order went in, I stood up, and one of the three equally non-observant bar tenders asked my name, and shore enough, produced the pizzas that had been sitting. and sitting. and sitting.

This place is overrated! Catfish Biff's is better.

To be fair, I have not had the deep dish pizza, but their thin crust pizza. I've heard their deep dish is better, but the pizza I got from them last week was the worst pizza I've ever had, like worst than those $5 boxes from Little Caesar's. Sad!

Edit: I have now also has their deep dish pizza, and it is also gross. The pizza here is NOT GOOD! Needs work!

Yumm

Some of the best pizza I've ever had. Small little pizza shop on the Ohio State campus that knows how to make a pizza right. Reminds me of the little pizza shops we went to when I was a teenager way back. Reasonable prices.

Wonderful Pizza, I was a commuter student for a semester here finishing up my JD. Best days were when I would walk down the block and pick up this pizza to take home. Best Pizza in Columbus I just wish you delivered up to Westerville (or open like a second store so I don't have to drive as far!)

Really good pizza. Its not too pricey but it could get spicy. We loved the pizza and the service was pretty fast. Checkout how I travel and love to try pizzas from everywhere. Instagram @ankytripping

Used to get Adriatico's all the time while going to college in Cincinnati. Glad to see the one near Ohio State is just as good. NY/Sicilian style pizza with great seasoning and spice. Nostalgia might be playing a part in my review, but it really is the best NY/Sicilian style pizza around.

Parking is a bit of a pain (on street metered, or if you're lucky a spot opens up in their small lot behind the building) but totally worth it.

I'm actually giving this 5 stars, one of the few pizza places in Columbus where that's the case.

I can't say how many pizzas I've gotten from Adriatico's, but I can say that I've never gotten a bad one! Adriatico's is my favorite pizza place and very well may be the best pizza I've ever had.

Great pizza (pan and thin crust). Very small dine in area, but will be moving around the corner to new location shortly. One of my favorite pizzas on campus. Highly recommend. Avoid during any buckeye home game unless you have lots of time to wait.

We love the thick crust pizza and the sauce is outstanding. Plus there is something extra delicious about the giant pepperoni Adriaticos puts on their pizza. It is a family favorite in our house.

The breadsticks and service were wonderful. The pizza was extremely disappointing. New York pizza style made me think of a similar taste to Sbarro's but it was not remotely close to being that good. The pizza sauce tasted like bland tomato paste from a can from Kroger. The atmosphere was very quaint, but seeing that it is a "pizzeria", I would not recommend anyone go there expecting good pizza. Sorry guys! At least change your sauce, then maybe sort out the other foul tastes.
