Adelaide Convention Centre Reviews

Fine, but impossible to find where you are supposed to be. I wandered around the building 3 times before finding the right hall. Accoustics inside are a little dodgy. Catering is average, and this includes mediocre coffee.

Attended AVCon and had a brilliant time awesome venue.

The rooms are quite configurable, but quite small. The hospitality options are limited, but AV / tech support quite good

Plenty of parking. Arrive early as you can get lost inside, not very clear where your event is hold. Well done with the biodegradable plastic glasses (see picture) and pens. Plenty of hotels close by including the train station and the casino for fun after your event.

Given that I haven't seen convention centres in other States of Australia, it is difficult to really rate this place as a facility. Car parking seems to be a problem when a function is on and we had to find alternative car parking. There seems to be ample space for functions and conferences or whatever.

Staff are great. Parking is difficult and bringing equipment frpm car to room was awkward.

I was actually on the grassy area in front of the convention centre which is hilly, grassy and sandy and I am in a wheelchair and I was in a bit of a rush so while I loved the red rice sake that I had as part of a sake grouping I did not have time to enjoy some of the other Asian eats and drinks I was at the OzAsia Festival to enjoy.

Graduation for Union SA here was well done and the center itself was beautiful.

The carpark is terrible the elevator was slow and didn't have good flow or direction for how many people are supposed to go there

Lovely place the cocktail reception was amazing and the awards night was well catered for.

A really good place to go for expos and charity dinners.

This place is really big. 9 out of 10 times you will get lost but the events are amazing

Function rooms are great, meeting rooms also. Catering was also delish

I went the Adelaide Convention Enter for the 2019 Avcon, the entrance was up a large flight of stairs but there is an elevator there too, overall the place was huge and very open, lots of windows for light and was quiet easy to get around, plenty of restrooms i was very comfortable going there for future events.

Quite many event are hold there including the IDP IELTS exam.

Been to many events here. Always easy to find and lots of room.

I enjoyed my visit today to the Adelaide Convention Center. Today I wemt to The Craft Fair. There was plenty of room to move.
The lighting was very good and the planing of the stalls and the Quilt exhibition was excellent. The Convention Centre staff were courteous, polight and very helpful.

Best place to attend conventions, exhibitions or in my case convocation. Located in the heart of Adelaide city, no issues with parking otherwise really close to North Terrace tram, train and bus stop as well.

Great place to have functions , well laid out , food is good an the majority of the staff are friendly an helpful an the view especially at night is lovely .......

Very good spot for a conference. Good infrastructure with beautiful views of the river.

I have been here for my friends' graduation, as well as doing volunteering for the International Women's day Breakfast. Its hall is grand and modern, capable of holding over thousands of people. The staff here are friendly and helpful as well.

Good food and experience, water fill stations helped

Great location. Very central. I appreciated the clarity of the signage because getting around large venues can be frustrating. I presented here and the facilities are modern and well designed with good audio visual. The onsite support staff are experienced, helpful and have high standards. A very good venue.

Great place for a stroll and places were open on a Sunday.

This place is huge. I love when events are on here. Down fall is inconsiderate people depending on the event

Its gotta be good because it's all Adelaide has to offer in regards to large spaces.

Needs better signage for pay station in car park. It just has arrows. Followed the arrows and still couldn't see it. So had to pay at the exit with card. Was then charged extra for using card.

eh, its a convention centre. nice decorations?? you mainly only go here for events like avcon

Currently being renovated. They could have more signage on the outside that indicate s best entry for an area..we walked all the way around the place but only need to go a bit further to the other entry.

Great food, area very squeezy for round tables and over 200 people.

Jeffery our waiter was appalling..... No bar to get other drinks because I don't like wine.

Very comfortable conference venue with great view of surrounding

Had a dinner with a few friends here and between the six of us, there was not one complaint. The food was cooked and presented well, all in a timely manner. The staff were so lovely, joking along with us and telling us quick stories in between. We had ordered all of the waiter's recommendations and they were all delicious. Loved it here, will definitely be back.

Great facilities and layout. Pity about the high usage of disposable, non recyclable cups

Went for the Christmas show and the food was average, service was great and show was very poor compared to the year before.

Really brilliant venue for our TheMHS event this year. The staff are very good and the rooms are nice. Most catering there is also good. Rooms with views of the river are particularly awesome. The only drawback is that the design of the multiple buildings means for big conferences you are rushing long distances and up and down stairs or waiting for only 1 elevator. The bars like Home Ground in the complex are also good but usually pretty dead.

Gorgeous view, great dining, modern and tech equipped convention center.

Always a great place for seminars. Food is generally pretty high standard.

Great new building and facilities. Love the lighting and the Philips Dynalite control system brings the place to life
