Building is situated in a hard-to-reach part of Melbourne, but the interior of the building is very pleasant. Recruitment firm has attentive reception staff. First tier consultants appear to lack confidence, though higherups are more together. Until i see more, 3 stars.

What a experience it was great working with Adecco. Samantha at Melbourne office is great she is such a nice young lady she understand people so well her way of dealing with clients is amazing all the very best to her and thanks for everything:)
I have recently relocated and have been interviewing with several agencies, Lydia who looks after public sector roles for Adecco Melbourne definitely stands out amongst other agencies for being friendly and personable.
I have had a positive experience with the Adecco Recruitment Team. Coming from a niche sector, finding a job suitable to my profile and experience wasn't easy. I connected with Ian on LinkedIn, and the next thing I knew, he referred my profile to Samantha in the CBD office, who deals with my my kind of roles. In a short time Samantha and I discussed my scope in detail. While searching in her own pool, Samantha shared my profile with Louise and Lydia, who came up with opportunities in Government sectors too! Ian has been willing to answer my doubts and concerns regarding the Australian jobs markets.
Recently I won a job in Government sector, in my domain and I can't help marveling at how efficiently Louise followed up the formalities in getting me on-board.
The Adecco team have excellent coordination but importantly, they show accountability and respect towards job seekers. Their communication is clear, quick and formal / informal as the situation arises.
Ian, Samantha, Louise and Lydia... thank you very much..!!
Horrible! Their "managers" are usually clueless and have absolutely no people skills neither management skills. I wonder who hires them. Also... No support. You will be dumped on their client site and if you complain about OHS or something, you will "magically" be no longer requested. Also... they seem to rather hiring Asians and Indians over Australians. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- PS.: This is a genuine post. No need to reply.
Just want to make a point to Another branch. ... Bad experience with wages information. Dont trust their words! Even you are casual u need to ask for document to check your pay rate!
Went in yesterday to meet with Kelly. Front desk staff were very polite however Kelly was outstanding right through the process. Some recruiters offer you the world, get you in the door to fill in the paperwork then you hear nothing. I believe there is credibility with the staff at Adecco Southbank (certainly with those I met) who appear to be very proactive, people friendly and want to assist. Hopefully the proof will be in the pudding!
FROM 5 STAR TO ZERO - Update to this review!!! My initial review of Addeco was far too premature as i have not heard a thing from them since i went to see them as per my previous review above. The praise i bestowed on them has well and truly fallen flat. Sadly they haved proved to me they are no different to any other agency. Addeco well and truly over promised and under delivered. This is an industry where advertising Fake jobs is common place that either dont exist, have been already filled and/or you are used to get you in the door to make up their quotas. Fake job ads by agencies are a common part of the skull duggery that goes on this industry. Do you agencies ever realise the impact this has on candidates when you play this game of promising them the world and offering Zilch!!. Not one phone call or message have i received from this agency since the day i met them. Yet i was advised i am highly employable with many skills and easy to place. I like many others was obviously just another number to tick the box.
A great experience from start to finish. Samantha is fantastic to deal with, from the interview process through to the conclusion of the role. I always felt supported during the assignment and was consistantly communicated with. Thank you Samantha for a stress free journey.
