We were looking for a cedar closet liner and Rob at Adams ordered a great product for us. It arrived on time and was far superior to others we looked at.

Not a real lumber yard. It's a hardware store with some home finishing. They will not even take orders for wood.

I have always found this store's employees to be very polite, professional, helpful and ethical. I love going in and know that if I need help, someone is usually readily available to assist me.

Tara gas been great to work with as I have been working on my DIY deck project. She has helped me every step of the way. They are well stocked with the items I need to do the job right. Excellent support with knowledgeable staff. Worth the drive. You won't be disappointed.

Adams Lumber is a great hardware store. I have purchased lumber and other hardware for a few decks and fences I have built over the years. Great service and the quality of lumber is much better than the big box stores. I also like supporting local business.

You would think it would be hard to run a business like this poorly, but the Adams brothers are notorious for broken promises and lies. this is the best lumber company in Denver to stay away from unless you don't care about your money or good customer service for honesty

Meh...This place can't even figure out a bill of materials for a deck. Never heard of a lumber yard that you couldn't just give dimensions to and get your materials list back. Guess I'll take my order for a 1000 sq ft deck elsewhere

Well, should have listened to a few of the other reviews. I special ordered $2,000 worth of rough cedar from Adam s for framework of a pergola project. I specifically told them that I wanted very clean 6X6 posts as I was going to just throw a clear coat on them. These posts were over $200 each. Waited a week and the lumber was delivered to the house. The next day I had the post holes dug and the cement on the way only to discover that after unwrapping them, two were heavily damaged. I had already paid for the cement and had no option other than to use them. I sent Adam s pictures of the damage and they agreed they were damaged and not acceptable to their standards. However, all the owner Mark offered was to try to give me a discount on a future purchase! This should have been caught prior to sending them out for delivery and are the focal point of my pergola I rarely take the time to give reviews, but I clearly gave Adam s a chance to make this right and they did not do so. Buyer beware.

Always friendly staff and willing to help. Lots of options and some of the best lumber in town. The operators outside make sure your good to go and are very helpful.

Ok, I'm not going to be long winded here..just go there. Period. I have dealt with about every lumber company/door, molding, hardware supplier in the greater Denver area. Hands down they are the best. I usually deal with Tara, but everyone from the two brothers/owners to the loading crew are friendly and their prices are fair as well. Just go and see for yourself...you'll be glad you did!

Can't believe they do business with people like Lori turner that go as far as lieing about her own parents and they agree I refuse to do business or be associated with company's that are ok with letting people slander other peoples name and then charge products to the account of people they were just trash talking about

I was in search of a specific exterior beadboard product and Mark Adams with Adams Lumber was extremely helpful. He took it upon himself to drop a sample of the product off at our house to ensure we liked it prior to ordering. Wonderful customer service!

Adams is my go to lumber company for quality lumber and advice. I'm a DIY'er and they never treat me like a second class citizen because of that. My only frustration is that they don't always carry what I need which requires me to go elsewhere and receive lower quality service. Thanks for being a well run company that treats their customers right.

Went here after a nearby compiteor was too busy to help me special order an old piece of baseboard trim. Walked in and Tara helped me right away. She was so good that she found this old piece of janky trim via cell phone picture in like 1.25 minutes! I'll have to come back and check out their lumber selection sometime! This place is amazing! Easily the best lumber yard in Denver. I ve had lots of great experiences here, but today was the best: I had them deliver some beautiful redwood for a planter/bench I m building, and I missed the driver s call, so I wasn t able to meet him at the house. He left me a courteous message that he d leave the wood in my driveway, which he did very neatly, but he forgot to leave the nails and screws I had ordered. I called the store, just to let them know, and to have them give me a credit, but Mark insisted on bringing them to my house on his way home from work, on his own time! Who does that? I beg you to pass on the big box stores who have lost all memory of good customer service and support this locally owned gem. The wood they deliver is always straight, top quality, and professionally handled. Thanks to Mark and Adams Lumber!

I've used Adams Lumber for 20 years, and will go into their store any time ahead of one of the big box places. They have staff members who are very helpful and knowledgeable and will personally talk to me about my project and walk me to the aisle to find what I need. The customer service that I received was the worst that I have ever experienced in my life. The person who I was working with abruptly hung up the phone with me prior to completing my order because he had another customer. I left a couple messages and he failed to return my calls. Finally, after several days when I reached out to him, he gave me the excuse of being busy and put me on the spot by demanding what I wanted. I asked for the manager and he says he is the owner of the business. The name of the owner is Mark and Mark was rude & didn t care a bit about taking care of his customers.
