I took my 3 year old son here with a gash in his forehead who needed stitches and waited for HOURS while people with lesser injuries came after me and got in before me. This place is ridiculous and I will never be returning again.
I felt bad for the guy at the desk because the lady that works behind him was being rude and nasty. Maybe she should look for a other job and not work with people.
Level of initial care is decent which is why I rated two stars instead of one. My physician was very caring and attentive I tried to follow up with the physician that treated me and I still have never heard a response from anyone concerning my questions. It s been over a month the price you pay if you re uninsured is astronomical compared to many places I ve been before- especially for the overall quality of services received. Very disappointing
Very caring, nice and helpful staff. Very clean and easy to navigate through the hospital. UPDATE: I just had outpatient surgery yesterday and then I had a minor incident with my bandage when I got home. Everyone I was in contact with was the best. Always willing to help and willing to explain things before they done anything. This hospital is the best around and believe me because I have been to a few others. I have been using this hospital and doctors for 15+ years. I highly recommend this hospital to everyone for the best care around. A huge "Thank You" to everyone that is/has helped me in the past and in the future.
I wish I could give this place twenty stars! The physical therapy department is the best! The doctors actually listen and care and the staff from the nurses( who are wonderful, kind and comforting) to the people who take your blood ( Stacy you are the best) are A+ rated! From the ambulance drive to the hospital care my comfort and care were given top importance! Like I suspect most people, I hate going to the hospital and being sick but the staff is amazing and they really do everything they can to make you feel as comfortable as possible! The kitchen staff asked me what I like and worked with the doctors for the best diet for my care! Amazing staff!
I gave birth to my daughter at this hospital 18 years ago on February 5th. Every year on her birthday I remember how wonderful the nurses treated me. (at the tender age of 18) One nurse in particular had twins of her own and was such a blessing helping me learn to nurse my child. I will forever hold those precious memories close to my heart.
I have gotten excellent care at Adams. I was treated in stat care for influenza last winter. I was here for lab tests and a sleep study last spring. I was here for a mammogram today. Each visit has been a positive one.
The staff has been friendly, caring and professional. The wait time has been reasonable in registration and in the respective departments. The facility is clean. I trust Adam's to provide quality care.
The staff has been outstanding in every facet of the covid vaccination process and the testing. Everyone was efficient in their job. For both Pfizer shots, I made my reservation, arrived outside the hospital in my car, called in my name, went into the hospital, got my shot, waited the proper time and I was out of there. For testing, the line seemed to be long, but everyone was processed very quickly and we got the results shortly after returning home. The staff in the hospital certainly have earned 5 stars.. I thank you.
Was told by a snooty nurse I am not aloud to go in with my 73 year old father to the ER because I myself am medically not able to wear a mask. No reason other than a power trip on her part ( SAD !! )
If I could leave zero stars that s what it would be. Went in the er with my father in law, all signs of covid in a 87 year old man. No covid test, sent him home to rest. A week later when he wasn t getting better we took him to Parkview, where 30 minutes later he was diagnosed with covid. But since adams county made him wait so long it was to late to take the medicine to make him better. He is now fighting for his life in Fort Wayne, we are now three weeks after the visit. Thanks Adams County memorial. You also let three more people get covid in my family since we didn t stay away from him cause you didn t test him.
