I never thought I would live long enough to be denied entry into a government building (this is before the STAR CARD). "Why are you here? DO you have an Appointment? You can't come in without an Appointment. Unbelievable.

Corrupt court system full of biased ... Waste of money towards nothing. Cops are liars and judges of course are on their sides. Apparently it isn't innocent until proven guilty. I received a ticket from a cop that lied about even clocking me and I lost that because I didn't have a witness that could make it in since the cop decided to move the court date and my witness had a major surgery the day before I had court.

Literaly why are there so many 1 star reviews. For goodness sakes it's a courthouse why are there any reviews. I get it you had a ticket you are mad it makes sense but still the people are nice they are doing their job and putting up with people that I assume give a courthouse a one star review.

Definitely one of the most corrupt court houses I have ever heard about or laid eyes on... The new generation definitely needs to make a huge difference here in the near future, and the older generation needs to get on with cancer already.

Got written up for no insurance even though i had insurance he just didn't want to rummage around in my glove box. I sent the appropriate proof of insurance to all the the relevant authorities even tried to contact the courthouse. (i didn't want to go in person because I'm busy and covid) and they told me 4 DAYS INTO the scheduled time for court appearance that my case hadn't been filed yet. I tried to Just pay the ticket because it wasn't worth it but again my case wouldn't come up in mycourt like they said. I tried calling the police department like they told me. Never got a call back. THEN I GET A LETTER SAYING I DIDN"T APPEAR AT COURT I HAVE AN ADDITIONAL FINE ON TOP OF THE TICKET! WHAT THE HELL! DO YOUR DAM PAPERWORK!

Tried to pay a passed due Speeding ticket over the phone with their client services who directed me to a direct phone number for ada county to pay directly, once reaching the phone number I was informed ada county does not have any over the phone payment systems this is very inconvenient for making payments. Being only able to use their online portal is hassle for most and doesn't provide the same peace of mind as speaking to a counry clerk who could accept the payment. Give your people more options to pay you maybe? Smh...

I was looked at like a criminal and not helped by the employees at all. It was as though it was their job to judge citizens coming in the door. A smile would go way further as would guidance to the court room.

I hope none of you ever get judge Kimble he is a deplorable judge and has no business wearing that robe. He made his decision on my case on day one that I was guilty without reading over the case or seeing any evedence. I had a $2500 bond I paid in full that I requested to be reduced or cancelled during the full year my case was in litigation and he denied me every time even though i showed up to every court date.I was actually the victim in my battery case not the aggressor when the state finally read over the case (1 day before trial) they saw that was the case and on the trial date filled a motion to dismiss the judge sat for 10 minutes looking over the paperwork instead of just immediately dropping the case like he should have reluctantly dismissed the case. Now he is refusing to exonerate my bond and the courts still have my money a month later and will not give it back until he signs off on it which he is refusing to do. What a piece of garbage he should be disbarred and fired.

Nearly all of the Courthouse staff is helpful and polite with everything from directions to instructions. Unfortunately the security team seems to be less and less personable each time I've visited (as do the courtroom martials), but they're typically still professional.

One star refers to Security only, the clerks I spoke with were super helpful and courteous. Barring two security employees, however, the people guarding our courthouse are inept, slovenly, and rude, depending on who you have the misfortune to speak with. They had no clue where to look for my missing wallet (that I verified by phone was at the front desk ten minutes prior), gave me attitude and excuses about it, and then I got yelled at to go check the department I was initially at. Not cool, Ada County Courthouse Security, not cool.

After getting pulled over for an expired registration, I was given a ticket. This is the second time I ve been pulled over and the first time I ve been given a ticket. The officer was so nice and said, I don t want you to worry about this. Just renew your registration, take it to the courthouse, and this will be a fix-it ticket . He also said I was so polite and honest about the situation. Well, I go to the courthouse and when I ask them about my fix it ticket they say sorry we can t do it. I HATE to be lied to. The officer made it sound like this would be a forgiven ticket and my record would still be clean. Well, he lied to me and now I ve lost my faith in the police just like everyone else has.

I felt like I was watching a play that hadn't been very well rehearsed. Or had just lost its passion because it was played out. A lifeless soulless cast. All pale and mind numbing faking care in there lines. Just forced. Like all the money they steal from people isn't enough to satisfy their hunger.

Thank you Judge Bailey, for making total fine and costs, the same as the ticket amount. I m sad that you said you have to trust the officer, who was not there when I was rear ended. And That you said you found the other driver more credible. The other driver said she was going 35 thru the intersection and that I speed up, passed her, then changed lanes in front of her at the intersection. She said the first time she saw me was when she looked up and saw me just before she hit. The light had just turned green, and I was found guilty of unsafe lane change. I was in left lane slowing from 20 ,she was far behind me the whole time, until she hit me in crosswalk totaling both cars. I was not able to question the lone witnesses who the officer based his report, and my ticket on. Before the hearing I learned our insurance offered to represent me, I should have asked judge to reschedule.

Ada County Court is a joke. Lazy, uninformed, and rude staff. One of the last places where justice or human dignity will be found. 1 star is over rating the Ada County courthouse. Tax payers money wasted to line pockets of corrupt people.

Parking is tricky, many people park at WinCo and walk across the street, even though they have signs up saying that this is prohibited.
Upon entering the building, there are the rude and unprofessional looking security/screening guys, just try to get past them as fast as you can.
Once inside, you receive a slip with a number, DMV style, and then you wait for your number to be called. Your estimated wait time is actually printed on the slip, which is neat.
They do charge you an extra $3 if you need to pay any fees, tickets or fines with a credit card or debit card, so bring cash to avoid this extra fee.
