Tata Menorial hospital khargar is very good. Doctors,Nurse and all staffs are very good like 2nd God. Treatment processes slow here not bad. Few test not done here. Foods and water available at reasonable price.Saturday and Sunday and national holiday OPD close, but Daycare Saturday and Sunday half day. Jay Sriram
Over all good. But it takes alot of time for treatment process. Also food and water is there and is at reasonable price. Hygenic and cooperative hospital. It takes alot of time at pharmacy because of token system.
It is cheap and best hospital for cancer patients. Open to all. Due to which there is huge rush during all time. Doctors are not available on Saturday and Sundays. If you are visiting for the first time come in week days. You may have to stay for whole day here because every test and meeting with doctor will have long queue. Carry food and water. Snacks are available here. Car/Bike parking facility is also there inside the hospital.
A superb cancer treatment facility and research centre situated in mother natures lap. Superb helpful health recovering environment helps patients to be happy and the staff is warm hearted.
Definitely need to improve their services- people wait for 3 to 4 hours for their number, not only appointment wt doctors but also for medication I feel bad for the patients
Doctors, nurses, ward boys, house keeping people are great, just like GOD. Takes care of patients so honestly and dedicated. Providing best treatment and facilities for IPD patients. Experience with front office staff was not so good, do not guide properly and create confusion among patients and relatives.
My dad had oral cancer we treated him with some Ayurvedic treatment initially but it didn't go well then we decided to take treatment in actrec we went to the doctor and when he got to know that we have taken Ayurvedic treatment he treated us like we have done a big crime he started talking rudely and when all the test were done after the reports he denied to operate my dad's face and said that lets do oral chemotherapy and reduce the cancer till the patient is alive. The doctor was so rude and insensitive he disrespected my dad by running away from him and yelled to cover his mouth when he physically checked my dad i felt bad for my dad. I lost my dad one month ago. The only suggestion i have to all of you who are reading this is that don't treat your patient in general ward the best way is to treat your patient in other private hospital. The only reason for 1 star is for Tata trust who had a good intention to start this work but they need to have a serious look on the management of this hospital.
I used to be a Trainee Biomedical engineer here at ACTREC, I would like to say that this place is one of the most nicest work place one could be at and has great exposure for biomedical engineering and instrumentation students due to a number of departments ranging from ICU to state-of-the-art radiotherapy. Each and every staff is knowledgeable, helping and cooperative. This a place which has enabled me to implement and corelate all my theoretical knowledge from my 4 years of engineering in practical sense and has helped me grow as an engineer!.
Other than the long wait times due to the sheer number of patients the attention and care is very good. Lots of room for improvement in the OPD process but treatment is not compromised on.
We waited over 2 hrs to get a token for getting stitches removed. The removal of stitches should take minutes. Shouldn't these be processed faster so your wait room is freed up. They lost my medical records file, I hope I am not the norm. This token process is flawed and needs a rethinking.
The tests are cheap and it's the only reason for the 2 stars.
Worst experience....staff behaviour not good... Feel bad for patients who r waiting for 6-7 hrs in a line not only for medicine.. for treatment also....staff r so rude don't know how to talk....worst worst experience
Tata Memorial Centre - Advance Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer or the acronym ACTREC is where I underwent radiation therapy for my cancer. I am grateful to the doctors and staff for their extremely sympathetic attitude towards cancer patients. Beautiful campus and fantastic infrastructure. A big thank you ACTREC.
The interviewer was very RUDE in the CCE dept. When you mention in your Advt "Preferable" that means you have options out of that. I don't know what kind of idiots they have HIRED to create the Advt for Vacancies. If you want experienced candidates the mention "ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES" and not "PREFERABLE". No doubt this is a Govt. owned organisation. LEARN TO HIRE PPL WHO CREATE CLEAR CUT ADVERTS FOR VACANCIES, THEN CALL CANDIDATES FOR INTERVIEW. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT ACTREC IS "NOTHING". DO NOT GO FOR INTERVIEW HERE THE SAID SALARY IS BOGUS EXPECT 20-30 % SALARY CUT
The doctor's and supporting staff is very good and helpful. But the other staff like security, housekeeping, sub staffs which are mostly locality are very rude and pathetic. Have no manners to speak with patient and their relatives. One thing very bad here that parking is only for staff. In spite having such a huge compound the rude security staff don't allow partaking. Moreover it's no where mentioned that patient vehicle can not be parked inside the premises.
This centre is very good. Having Advance cancer care at affordable price. The place is situated at Kharghar. Kharghar is in Navi Mumbai. This place is well connected by Rail, Road and Air. As this is away from Mumbai main city, during traffic hours, you may face undue delays and jams. So plan your journey accordingly. Thd centre have facilities of boarding and lodging. They are limited and on the recommendations of Resident doctors.
Staff is absolutely pathetic. No information being shared.. no co-operation and co-ordination between departments.. staff is extremely insensitive, irresponsible and careless. It is an elitist institution. The PRO claims that private files will be given comparatively quick treatment than the general files. There are staff members roaming around as middleman in the hospital falsely promising of getting the work done smoothly being unaware of procedures.. I wonder people suffering from dreadful disease like cancer have to bear such idiots in place. TATA ADMINISTRATION NEEDS TO BECOME SENSITIVE. It's because of the people you guys earn.. don't treat this as a joke.
Third Class management ,third class behavior of employee and senior doctor, I'm very frustrating here, please don't go there for treatment, one star is only for ratan tata who's build hospital for cancer patients ,but here all management and employees are third class treat to patients.
Hi I am one'of the cancer patient from Tata, would like to share my experience.guys who ever is not happy with their services and function, should try for other hospital, then only you will know the value of this hospital, although I am private patient paying as a private file. this is the best hospital and the facilities with the dirt cheap rate.first of all its almost a free treatment for poor people, so the people comes from all over the places,so the crowd is there, this is a cancer treatment hospital and cancer is life taking illness.so I think people should coperate them.i will again say this is the best and cheapest cancer hospital in the world,so instead of getting frustrated enjoy the treatment and get cured.
If there would be any options. I would have given -5 * to this hospital. Very cruel Doctors, Nurse and Brother mavshi as well. No one turn up to patient in case of emergency as well. They treat cancer patients as a dead body. Keep on changing medicine on daily basis. In fact Main doctor is also not aware which medicine need to be given to patient for specific disease. They treat patients as if they are only here to pay money. They only call concern about their billing part. They make sure patient relative always pay medicine amount prior. This is the worst phrase in my life with have every seen. When my mummy was admitted in Tata memorial hospital kharghar Navi Mumbai. Tata founder is the best person in the world. But the staff what he have hired is making if reputation down below the ground level. Kindly take action against staff if anyone can look into this.
my mom she was getting her treatment done in tata memorial hospital and believe me the staff are super rude and arrogant they dont know how to treat patients gently . they r like they r god and every patient should listen them they r like patients they dont have their self respect ...i am truly very upset .n i advice everyone who ever wish to visit this hospital. kindly do not ..they r not good people n not even they r good doctors.
It is a wonderful place for a Cancer Research and to get educated about Cancer related work. State of the art instrumentation facility and well equipped labs.
