I love Actor's Express. One of the hidden gems of Atlanta. The revitalized West Side is the perfect home for this theater that offers something for everyone. The quality of acting and shows chosen is consistently great. Definitely worth an evening out!

Attended Head over Heels last night and Actors Express does not disappoint once again. I did have a little difficulty with the olde English speaking but I understood the gist in parts. Had dinner at Donnetos Italian restaurant around the corner on Brady beforehand. Great too! Peyton was Basilius this night in the play and he did a terrific job.

I went to see Head Over Heels. This was my third time at the theater. The show had a lot of problems... but was enjoyable. One of the things that I found very off-putting, was that the light tech kept blowing his nose really loudly. This is a bit of an intimate space and it was very off-putting to try and watch the show while he kept blowing his nose nearby.

This is a nice little theater that has some interesting productions that often challenge the audience with new thoughts and ideas. Unfortunately, most seats are first-come first-served so be sure and arrive early if sitting close is important to you. They offer beer and wine at the concession stand right before entering as well.

Actor's Express is one of the fines theaters companies in the Atlanta area. They continually do innovate work with a great range. Examples range from well done comedies like "The Importance of Being Earnest'" to deeply moving works like "Angels in America" and a musical version of "Kiss of the Spider Woman". They even nailed "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." I have had seasons tickets for more than a decade and plan to continue to continue for many decades more.

Current production of Sweeney Todd, one if the greatest of all American musicals, was ambitious and mostly impressive (male voices better than female ones). Kevin Harry's performance as Sweeney is harrowing.

This is a wonderful venue. I loved how intimate the space for a performance. I saw the show "The Color People" and the performance was top notch! The production was as professional as anything that I have seen on Broadway. Being in a venue that allows you to be so close to the action gives you a feeling that you are a part of the play. I was blown away and will definitely return to see other productions in this venue!

I saw A Dolls House part 2. It was a small venue and a small cast but overall I was impressed with the show. I had never been before and I was impressed by the quality of show and actors. You do have to pay for parking though their is a flat discounted rate. I loved the whole experience and look forward to returning.

Went to see the Color Purple and it was amazingly wonderful! The performances and singing was excellent. I would recommend that play to anyone and I look forward to seeing what other wonderful plays they have to offer.

Attended a conversation with the Artistic Director and Production Manager on "New Play Production Design." Included lunch. Quite enlightening as to the challenges and decisions that have to be made when producing a new play.

4 stars only because parking was confusing but it is Atlanta so I would advise you to check before hand. I saw the show "The Color Purple " and it was fantastic the seats are a lil uncomfortable so I would recommend a travel cushion.

We love Actors Express. I just wish they would get the parking situation fixed. Last time we were there, they ran out of the blue parking cards. They told me I could pay at the machine in the lobby. The machine ate my credit card and I had to call the security guy to come get it out. It was such a hassle.

We went to see Actor's Express Theater's newest production, Downstairs. The set, actors and location were all great and the story and acting were compelling. I enjoyed the intimacy of the venue and how close you can be to the stage. Friendly staff and quick drink service rounded out the experience!

Falsettos is one of my favorite shows and I have spent weeks waiting to be able to see it at your theater. We arrived at 2:10 because parking was not available and were turned away, not even asked to wait until after the next song. I go see BROADWAY shows in New York City, I've shown up 35 minutes late due to MTA delays and I've still been allowed in at the next break. The real kicker is I spent WEEKS promoting this show in the work newsletter I put out, which then gets distributed to our hotel guests. I know several people went on my recommendation, but your box office attendant brushed us off like we showed up halfway through act one. And I was so looking forwards to seeing Head Over Heels during the summer and already had people who wanted to come in from out of town to see it with me, but I'd rather wait and spend my money at a different theater that actually cares about their patrons. 0/10 would rather not see a show than try to go again.

Actor's Express may need to re- think and develop a strategy to cater to all of the public, not a specific, minor part of the society. As a result they may need to enrich their repertoire.

Actor's Express is perhaps the best local theatre company in Atlanta. We have been attending for 12 years and have been season subscribers for the past 7 years. While offering the classics, it is the new, non-traditional and edgy plays that we have come to appreciate the most. This past weekend we saw Fun Home, a Tony award winning musical that pushes the boundaries of the genre. It was wonderful and well done with an outstanding cast. Highly recommended!

Tucked away in West Midtown is this excellent theatre company that never fails to bring edgy and contemporary plays to Atlanta. They often create renditions of classic work with new interpretations, and just as frequently produce brand new works that challenge the minds and expectations of audiences.

Socially forward theater. Incredible acting, phenomenal sets, every show is completely different and will challenge how you think about the world and how to relate to others and ourselves.
