I've started receiving calls twice a day, and regular emails, even though I never opted in for any communication. All I did was checking quotes on Moneysupermarket. I tried to opt-out, but they are still calling me twice a day. I'll file a GDPR complaint if they continue.
Massive shout out to Tom Hoskins, who has been extremely helpful with my experience shopping around for health insurance. Tom called within minutes of me filling out a confused.com comparison quote request and was very helpful in taking me through the levels of cover and different options of providers I had. Can't recommend enough, and it's unbelievable this impartial service is free! Once again, thanks Tom!
Got my insurance set with Mike. Cannot fault him he was ever so helpful and did not push in any direction other than provide advice and give me time and let me decide what to do. I have never spoken to such a salesman so nice worried in us getting the right service rather than make a sale. Will definitely use them again!
Avoid this company if you require half decent service. They do not seem to have a grasp on customer services and have poor email writing skills.

My original contact was via the Activequote website. Response to my query was timely. When I called with further questions, agent Leanne Ross spent time walking me through what insurance could and couldn't do for me (I have a pre-existing condition). As an expatriate, I was clueless where to even start; Leanne was patient and very informative even with basic healthcare information. I didn't commit at that original call, and she was not at all pushy. Still not having committed after a couple of months, but having a bit better understanding of the system, I called back and again talked with Leanne. This time I knew I wanted private insurance, but unsure how to narrow the field. She helped immensely by pointing out beneficial aspects particular to our situation that went with several policies... and then left the decision among our short-list to us. When we decided, the policy started at the date of our choice, and the paperwork arrived in a timely manner. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the service (and patience) I received. I would highly recommend Activequote to anyone seeking private health care insurance.
