I have had a lot of dealings with Acorn since June 2020. The girl I dealt with throughout the whole process was Marilyn Aherne. I cannot praise her enough for her professionalism and manner at all times. When she said she would keep me updated she followed through on every occasion. I would highly recommend Acorn insurance .

Have used acorn for my car insurance for the past three years. Always easy to contact. Competitive pricing and local, capable and competent staff. Thankfully haven t had a claim so can t comment on that, but have always found them very easy to deal with.

No waiting in a queue forever, then going through a maze of options before being answered from a call centre in Asia. Calls answered promptly by a real person in Galway. If anything is not clear, the agent finds out & phones back with the answer within the timeframe stated. Prices very competitive with the multi nationals. Fortunately I've not had to make a claim, but I have every confidence that if the circumstances arose, it would be dealt with professionally & sympathetically.

This company is a joke. I was in Hospital in February. Insurance was supposed to cover all the costs. It is August and and I still have not received any money. The agent from Acorn Insurance company, who was supposed to help me is not doing any work. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THEM
