I have had a great experience here and also left scratching my head wondering if it is the same place as last time, only to return and have a great experience again. Once I was ready to drop some bank on a gravel grinder and was virtually invisible, another bike shop got it instead, maybe scruffy looking old guys don't appear to have cash? They have helped me find the right parts and are good mechanics. Maybe just a moon phase thing with these guys & ya know what? for some reason I can accept that from a bike shop. I'll be back. Love my Kona MB! 2 stars are invisible.

The brakes on my bike was dragging my tires. I stopped in and asked if they could look at my brakes. They adjusted them for me Free! I'm sooo grateful! They're the BEST!

Tim s the best!! I needed to pack my bike to fly home the day after Labor Day and couldn t get my pedal off to save my life. Tim met me at the shop an hour before it opened to help me out!! Huge thank you!!!

Great shop, great people, Sweet bikes! Just picked up a Rocky Mountain Instinct Powerplay BC edition. Yes, that's a mouthful. Wow! What a bike though. Words don't do it justice. If you like getting out on two wheels and looking for the most challenging terrain you can find up or down this bike makes makes the whole experience awesome!

Great shop! Good customer service! They were able to get me everything I needed even during a shortage of bikes and parts.

Wanted to get my bike assembled to ride it over the weekend. No appoitments, walked in and dropped off my bike at 6pm on Friday, got a phone call at 10:15am on Saturday letting me know that the bike is assembly and ready to roll.

They know their stuff. Would recommend over other shops in the area.

Really outstanding shop, for the area and for anywhere I've ridden. Great staff that lives bikes instead of just selling them. Whether you need parts, service, a whole bike, or just a bit of advice... they've got you covered. If they don't have it, they can get it and if they don't know about it then you don't want it. I'm always a bit leery trusting my bikes with a shop I don't have a lot of experience with but the crew at ACME have earned my trust and my respect. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again, and again.

Excellent shop and excellent service. Always fast and super helpful. They have a great selection of bikes and accessories and made great recommendations based on my needs while not being pushy. They are also very knowledgeable of local trails and conditions. Highly recommend!

The ACME crew is top notch, they live and breathe bikes. There isn't a more motivated or quality service department in the Black Hills; they go out of their way to get you back on your bike ASAP. From the first time rider, to the seasoned vet, they have the product, knowledge, and love of all things bikes to keep your cycling obsession fueled indefinitely. 20+ years building relationships centered around something as simple as circles turning circles speaks mountains.

My favorite local business in the area. The service, the people and the prices are great. They are completely honest and quote you on the money. I have purchased a couple bikes from them and I will continue to use them for my mountain bike servicing needs. I highly recommend anybody in the area or anyone passing through to visit Acme. Tim and his team are the best there is in my opinion.

Best bike shop in the Hills. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The owner, Tim, will bend over backward to help you find a bike that will work for you and is a willing resource for questions about trails or anything else you might want to know.

Amazing service and conversation! Highly recommended...

Was only suppose to bleed my rear brake line. They told me that air in my hydraulic disk brake line was 'normal' for shimano (which is a lie)...got the bike home and realized my brand new rear disk brake pad ($27.00) was replaced with an inferior pad....and my front and rear derailleur stop screws had been readjusted badly; also, the indexing was way off. They also charged me $10 more than quoted over the phone. Life is too short. I walked away. No moral or ethical character at this shop. Take your bike else ware.

They were quick and super friendly. Took care of me very well. Will be returning!

My friends and I shipped our bikes to Acme before a tour around the Black Hills. They were super friendly, had the bikes ready and waiting for us, and had even fixed one of the rack mounts on one of the bikes for us.

Kelly and the owner were absolutely great! Very helpful, friendly, and informative. They care about their customers, not just about their sales. Please go in and see them and give them your business. This is the way a bike shop should be run. Excellent service. Will be back!

Still the best in town! I have found no need to go elsewhere yet. My wife and I have purchased 6 bikes here. Great selection of accessories and staff is always helpful.

Needed my bike serviced. They got it in and turned it around quickly and services rates were good.

Needed a quick repair, and was treated like an old friend. Work was done quickly and correctly by experts. I've worked in the bike industry for 12 years, worked with all kinds of shops, and my advice is this: when you find a good mechanic, keep him! 5 stars.

AWESOME customer service. Tim really did a great job. I'll drive to Rapid from Spearfish to shop with them. My wife is very excited for her new Santa Cruz Tallboy!

Got a great deal on a new bike. They took my old unneeded bike off of the purchase of new bike and helped service it 9 months later on 10 minutes notice.

Let me start out by saying the original owner was amazing and very helpful but recently I feel the new staff isn't as great, I don't know if they've been bought out or what but it's not the same. Recently I took my bike in to get my cranks tightened and they over tightened some parts in my cranks and not only did they charge me for taking it in a second time to fix their mistake they said themselves they were too tight. That is just not acceptable that they will admit they overtightened it but they BLAMED IT ON ME!!! I'm sorry but I have lost all trust/interest in this company along with my business, I'm taking my biking passion elsewhere. Please save your hard earned money and go somewhere else like cranky Jeff's, Black hills bicycle's or scheels.

Acme is a great bike shop with very competitive pricing and they always have deals on new and used bikes. Tim does a superb job promoting cycling and providing opportunities for people to enjoy the sport.

Tim and the gang do top notch work! I always have a blast in the shop, and walk out of the place a happy camper. This is the place to go if you need bike help of any kind.

Took a suspension fork in to get installed on my bike . They broke the fork would not stand behind there work . I'm out $160.00, take your bikes anywhere but here.

So I took in a stroller, and as a first time mom I didn t know what to do to expect and these guys went above and beyond to replace the inner tube of the tire! They were fast and prompt and even attached a water bottle carrier to the stroller that I purchased in store! Super friendly and fast and I would recommend them to anyone!

The only complaint that I have about Acme is their bad hours. Very inconvenient and I just can t find the time to bring my bike in.

New water bottles for the bikes and they were less price than Scheels and BH Bicycles.
