Brent is the best recruiter I have ever met! He is great with temporary as well as permanent placement. He was able to place me in a temporary role, while I interviewed for permanent roles. None of the other recruiters I worked with was able to do that. He is also one of the hardest working recruiters I ever met. While I worked at the temporary job he setup numerous interviews, he ensured I had a permanent role before the temporary role ended. I appreciated all of his hard work and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an accounting role!

We have been business partners with Accountants One since 2016 and have worked with every member on their team at this point. The culture of "Ghosting" amongst Recruiters, is so disappointing. All started off well with Megan Lord, but then everything descended into a sea of confusion for me. In the middle of a Pandemic, I accepted an in-person interview, well over an hour drive (she knew this), for a position that I really wanted. I arrived 10 mins early, to meet with the Director and Manager, about the role. I called Megan afterwards (as instructed by her) to tell her how it went. After less than a minute of my positive feedback, she said she'd call me back. She never did. After several days, I called her again to get feedback (no call back and yes I left a message). A couple of weeks later, I called again and I was never called back. I emailed her (no return email).
So in the end, I was left to assume that perhaps my interview didn't go as well as I thought. Now if she has a legitimate reason for ghosting me, consider this review null and void. If not, I find it beyond inconsiderate to not give a candidate feedback - whether good or bad. As Job seekers, we use valuable resources to facilitate our end and its not fair that we have to go through this sometimes. And you don't know what a person has to overcome or sacrifice, in order to show up and present their best.
I gave a two star rating, because she did help me in a couple of areas in the beginning. She was also very responsive, until after the day of my interview. Also, I have referred her to some amazing Job seekers without disclosing my full experience. Why? Because my issue, may not become their issue and this agency does have a good reputation. I also have two Friends who got into their dream company through this agency.
Thanks to Taylor Philips and whole Accountants One team for not only helping me on my job search so professionally but also making this process very very friendly, easy and comfortable for me. She also taught me how to know my value in the market and keep the hope and effort alive in me at all times. I cannot think of anything more to expect from a recruiting company.
