I have worked at Access2interpreters for three years. (celebrating my anniversary tomorrow)
Although this is a small company, there is room for advancement as well as great benefits. I started as a first shift dispatcher and moved my way to first shift manager. Yana (the owner) is very personable yet knows how to run her company to be successful. I came from a big corporation and now that I have worked here I feel like I have adopted another family, my work family. There are so many diverse employees that bring so many different things to the table to keep the business successful and promote job security. Yana works very closely with the employees and is aware of everything happening that impacts the employees as well as the interpreters. This ensures the company is constantly changing and adapting to meet the needs of the employees as well as the customers. It's exciting to see how quickly this company is growing and I am proud to say that I have had a hand in creating some of the success.
I have made a great career here at Access2interpreters and I am thankful for the opportunity Yana has given me!

This is a scam!! Beware these people only want your bank information to take money out without your permission instead of giving you work like they say. The so called teacher of the training class is a joke!!! Every other word is a bad one!! They charge you $90 for an oral test and then never call you for the test! DON'T DO IT!!!

I've been working for this company for about 7 months as an interpreter. I've learned a lot about professional interpretation. It's flexible job, you can set your own working hours and you can take vacations whenever you want. It's very exciting to work as interpreter because each assignment is different and you will learn a lot about hospitals, diseases and medical treatments. It is a pleasure to work as an interpreter with Access 2 Interperters. The staff and dispatchers are very professional and they work hard to keep high professional standards. Their training is very extensive and up to date. If you are looking to be a professional interpreter then Access 2 interpreters is the right place for you.

Everything things are very excellent and especially the training are very useful, Also they give enough hours to run the daily living.
But YANA!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! thinks that she is the only one in this world and treats the interpreters as if they are not human beings. She does not know to respect and we have been taught to respect each other in the training.
Other than YANA, perfect.
I definitely encourage others who has interest to work as interpreter should take classes and work for access 2 interpreter. Just Keep away from Yana and ignore her.

I've been interpreting for Access 2 Interpreters for two years. This is a great agency to work with. Their training in Ethics and Medical Terminology is really good.
Good payment rates, flexible schedule and the dispatch is really friendly and always willing to help.
The admin staff at the office is amazing as well.

Be careful don't sign anything until they explain the cost of the class in its entire. Will make you spend a lot of money, best scammers of all time will ask for 90 dollars to take a phone test if you fail you're not allowed to continue with the class which means you lose your money more than 60 people come to this company every day looking forward to become an interpreter.

Access 2 Interpreters has provided us with many years worth of quality and professional translations. DRC has over 1500 publications and many of those need quick and accurate translations into multiple languages. Access 2 Interpreters has never let us down and continues to provide professional translation services on several levels for our agency. We would recommend their services highly.

Never in my life have I had a job that pays me well, and gives me an overwhelming sense of fulfillment the way Access2Interpreters does.
When you work for A2I, you will surprise yourself. Not only with your own capabilities as a language interpreter, but also with the people you help. This job allows you to be your own boss, make your own schedule and the best part is you get to use your own talents to help people. As long as you are professional, courteous, and serious; this company will set you up to succeed.
Thanks to them I am proud to call myself a Spanish interpreter.

My organization hired Access 2 Interpreters after an extensive search in our region. We had been unhappy with the services provided by the agency we had used in the past and were looking for a change. Access 2 Interpreters was not only quick to respond, but also incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. They reached out to a retired interpreter and worked with us to establish a relationship. On the morning of our event, the interpreter arrived on time, was personable and very knowledgeable. We will most definitely use them again in the future.

I have been working as the Nepali interpreter through Access 2 Interpreters since June 2017. After working as an interpreter, every hour I am adding a new word in my mind. On the other, I am getting a chance to connect with my community. Despite adding, learning, and connecting, I am also working on my own schedule. I am having sufficient time to spend with my family too, so in my perspective, Access 2 Interpreters has created an ordinary job to person like me. When we talk about the Access 2 interpreters team, they are appreciable, forthright, and, respectful. Access 2 has the best instructor, trainer, guider, and mentor to develop build the skills and the professionalism of interpreters. Finally, if someone is a bilingual and hunting for part time, flexible, or even a full-time job, Interpreting job through Access 2 interpreters may be the best fit for you.

Access 2 Interpreters has been one of our preferred translation vendors for the last 7 years. During the past years, Access 2 Interpreters has provided us with outstanding customer service. They have provided us time sensitive project turnaround, and have maintained a highly professional quality of translations at the same time. We highly recommend using A2I.

I was interviewed a total of three different times...

I was interviewed a total of three different times for this position over a two-week period. The first interview took place with the current holder of the position and the HR manager. The first interview was given by a gentleman who did not seem to have ever given an interview before. As a result, he rambled on about the position and doodled on my resume as I was talking. The second interview was given by a woman named Caroline who was extremely unprofessional. She was extremely aggressive, questioned my job history, and spoke negatively about the job in general, telling me several times that I would be expected to work considerable overtime and would need to skip lunch breaks. I took a quick, simple test and then was told to come back next week to interview with the CEO. We made an appointment and I left.

When I arrived for the second interview, the receptionist greeted me and told me that who I was there to interview with did not show up. The interview was scheduled for 4:30, and I had driven through considerable traffic to get there, so they set me up with another gentleman who talked at length about himself for 45 minutes and did not ask me a single question. It was a complete and total waste of time and gas. The interview was rescheduled for five days later, also for the late afternoon because I was told that the CEO of the company did not arrive to work until after 3:00 PM most days.

Five days later, I arrived to the office to see that the CEO of the company, who I was supposed to be interviewing with, did not show up once again. Instead I spoke with her over the phone. This was the single most awkward, bizarre, and unprofessional interview I have ever experienced. She talked about herself, her daughter, and told me that document translations "did not matter" because it was only 5% of their total business (the rest being interpretation). She quizzed me on what I thought the job entailed and told me that my resume "did not make sense" to her. She told me that I lived too far away (only about 20 minutes from the office) and tried to recruit my husband, a native Spanish speaker, for a large portion of our interview. She told me that there was so much work to do that I would need to stay late a majority of the time, but then also said that there was not much document translations work, and I would primarily be in charge of the social media account for the company. Ultimately I left the interview with more questions than I arrived with, not understanding fully what the company was trying to accomplish, what the hours for the position were, and what the job truly would entail. Ultimately, the experience was so frustrating that I chose to pursue other endeavors rather than work for such a disorganized, mismanaged company.

I love working for Access 2 Interpreters! I enjoy my job the people I work with and my bosses. The company overall is a great place to work. I have been here two years in May and I don't think I have ever liked a job more than I do here. The company is very rewarding and the owner (Yana) of the company appreciates hard work and acknowledges the hard work that you do. You prove your loyalty in this company and it pays off to do so. I have never had an opportunity to grow in a company like I do here & I appreciate given the opportunity to do so!
