Is never a nice place to be, but is the only hospital where I feel comfortable and safe. Last 5 years is in and out for me. Staff is good and professional (with one exception, but where are you not) and always friendly and correct. For me if you have to choose then take this hospital. They have all the equipment and staff. At Martini you sometimes have to go to this hospital and then back. Is all well arranged, but still .. no if you are here and you get something else you are immediately in the right place. Information, safety, stay for visiting ..... you can arrange everything, but of course you have to open your mouth. UMCG is the place to stay

I was hijacked and escaped and had not eaten for days. Became dizzy and didn't know what was going on. With low blood pressure they told me to eat licorice. I am not familiar with this. They have not even measured blood sugar levels. Had a b.m.i. of 15 and sent me back while my hunger and satiety system was confused because I didn't eat anything for a long time during that hijacking. Also had those symptoms that are known to people who have not eaten for a long time, such as energy-saving mode and the like, that you are very cold, especially hands and feet, and that sitting hurt. People who hear such a story think that you are schizophrenic or have a delusion or are confused. I felt that it was not understood and that it was not further investigated. I just want to say some may have been invisibly hijacked by a person in their environment that they can hardly get rid of. Nobody who sees it. It seems like feeling of grandiosity and entitlement. Someone came to my house who brutally nestled and settled in it and could hardly get rid of it. Such a person appropriated everything including my house stuff and me in. Calling was not possible because all my courses were checked.

Difficult to assess a hospital as many factors play a role. Location is becoming more and more a drama in terms of traffic and accessibility (car), parking is quite a disaster + the parking costs are considerable. Staff generally friendly and competent. Specialists with whom I have experience are very good. Building itself is large, but well-organized. Is somewhat dated some departments.

Its No hospital. Its a house for sick people (no hospitality) and it gets run by students who yet has no experience of a mature doctor. I more likely felt like a hamster in there. During my surgery it felt like I had to cheer that stressed student up while she is having her exam on me.. otherwise maybe that tube would go in a different direction than it spouse to be. (Who knows). After the surgery you get to meet up other students for feed back. I think (Doctors) are rare to be found there.
Food: potatoes mashed with apples(?) mushrooms on a cooked egg(?)
salad: raisins with lettuce(?)
I didn't eat it and revived nothing else in return when I asked for somthing else.
The one star goes to decorations of that place, well done!

I was briefly at the Maternity Institute, but I spoke to about four doctors, seven nurses and two receptionists. And they were all really nice, smiling and helpful. I met such a nice hospital staff for the first time and was thrilled. Incredibly, it helped one mentally. And after reconstruction the environment is nice, pleasant. I felt really good there. Even lunch tasted.

This is not only a hospital, but also a part of the University of Groningen. For the health care matters, it provides a lot of services, from midwife until doctors with any expertise. Very large and complete. Easy to be accessed by car, public transport (bus), and bike. Many parking area nearby.

Very professionally organized university hospital, maximising the benefits of digitization to manage patient flow. Also very pleasantly laid out with a number of shops, restaurants etcetera. Medical staff as far as I can judge also quite capable (I was helped quite well and decisively).

People are friendly and knowledgeable, but they work in a very official way. "If you want to be eligible for new aids, you have to visit at least 4 times a year". 1x / year I find sufficient because I see no use in extra visits and so you will be "punished". Also has to do with overall health care. I don't want to incur unnecessary costs for society. Additional visits are then unnecessary (with my more than 30 years of diabetes experience). People pay a lot of attention to procedures, figures, standard working methods, studies that are useful for the students, but not really to the person behind the patient. It is more "the patient must live" than "we must make the patient's life more comfortable."

I wish you good health, but if you still got here, be sure that 90% of the doctors here are specialists in their field. Friendly, sociable, and try to do everything possible so that you do not feel discomfort

Great hospital with great doctors. Staff are very friendly, and doctors are warm and kind, let alone knowledgeable and professional Architecture is welcoming. It feels more like a university or a museum than a hospital. Although no goes to a hospital for fun, my wife and I had a good experience there. A special "Thank you" to everyone working in this great place.

My sister-in-law was on D3 from Sunday, 08/30/2020.
My sister-in-law died of cancer in the night of Tuesday 09-01-2020 and Wednesday 09-22-2020 at the age of 48.
Everyone at the hospital treated her and us wonderfully.
A big compliment to everyone who has assisted her and us.
The staff made sure that my sister-in-law was as comfortable in bed as possible, without pain as best they could.
They involved us in everything.
If we had to ask, we got an answer to everything, a very patient staff.
The morgue staff are also very keen on how they looked after her partner and me.
They came up with the idea of cutting a section of hair for her children.
And again a very big compliment to the hospital staff and the mortuary staff.
Chappo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In itself a good hospital, but there are too many young students tampering with bodies. Had a bad experience with a broken little finger. By the time all doctors agreed, it was too late to straighten the little finger. Had I had 1 doctor, I would have had another chance.

Very bad to speak about the pharmacy! It makes sense that you have to wait for a while, but for the 2nd time I am already waiting here for 45 minutes and there are at least 3 people in front of me (with the same letter, not to mention the people with other letters who also to wait). Of the 6 counters, 2, sometimes 3, are staffed. I think this is a very bad thing !!!

Old fashioned 4 person rooms with 1 toilet. Great if you lie there with 3 critically ill patients who have to vomit and defecate. None private. Nursing staff helpful and friendly.

Bureaucracy and administration take precedence over the interests of the patient.
It is a shame that you have to wait for a referral because the files have not yet been processed.
The disease continues and the patient can only be operated elsewhere .... but has to wait for a doctor who does not have time to do the paperwork and only then will the patient receive a referral letter ..
