We love Academic Adventures! We have overall had a great experience and feel like our children are well taken care of. My only issue is that we have had a few instances where our children's clothing or outerwear have gone missing and that is very frustrating, especially in the freezing cold of winter.

I have worked here since February 2014 and had my two children enrolled the entire time. My son started in twos and is heading off to kindergarten in the fall. I was mortified when I went looking for a daycare close to my home that could transport him to and from school. None of the daycares we visited match Mrs Esther's standards. I am proud to work in such a clean Caring and loving daycare. The owner is a very Christian woman with a passion for nurturing both the families and her staff. She runs a tight ship and holds her employees to the highest standards. I can guarantee there is no better place than Academic Adventures.

So far we have just liked Academic Adventures but think it has potential to be a place we love. Most of the teachers seem to be caring and love the kids which is probably the most important to see as a parent that is just in for a few minutes a day. It is nice when a new teacher takes the initiative to introduce herself, instead if just stare at parents picking up. When our daughter's classroom has staffing consistency, we seem to have great weeks with great communication. When staff is being switched around constantly that is very hard for kids, parents, and staff. We were ready to leave when that was happening with Swaddlers. Erin and Lisa seem to be helpful and available if needed, it would be nice to Esther out and about more often so parents know who she is.

If I could give it 0/5 stars I would. This rating is not because of how the facility treats children but the Horrible business ethics. Both of my nephews were suppose to go to this daycare part-time. However with 3 weeks before one was suppose to start there was a 'clinch' in their system bumping him out and they took another baby who was FULL time in his place. They apologize profusely to my sister and assured them they would get him in the spring. After hearing what happened to my sister my other sister (whose baby is 8 days younger) contacted the business and spoke with the director. She assured my sister that her baby had a spot and imagine what she got in the mail....a letter saying there was a 'clinch' in the system and his spot was given to a baby who was on the FULL time list. And here is the kicker...it was signed by the director to whom my sister spoke to. Come to find out that this wasn't the only 2 babies that this happened to, there have been several families whose children have been bumped due to this clinch all who were Part-time. Luckily my sisters were able to find something as they had sometime however this is a horrible business ethics and the sad part is the best exposure is by word of mouth and from this family -this daycare will not have any good reviews.

We love this place. My kids have been going here for over 3 years now. The teachers love the kids and the kids love them. My daughter knew how to speak some spanish at 2! They truly do a wonderful job educating them and taking care of them. They have some of the newest technology in the classrooms as well. I am sad my kids will be growing up and not going there anymore.

My children have been going there since 2012, soon after they opened. I have been very happy with the staff and the curriculum. They have a great summer program to keep my schooler busy and my son was more than ready for kindergarten When he started this last August. Their rates are lower than most daycare in the area.

Their 2nd location on 158th and Grebe Street has a status of "Probation" for the 2019 due to sustained and documented infractions of employees at this location. Not sure if this location is any better but Nebraska DHHS has a copy of these. USE CAUTION!

Our 4 year old and 22 month old sons enjoy the curriculum at Academic Adventures. They are learning a lot and have lots of fun. The staff and teachers are friendly and outgoing and the facilities are very nice including an indoor gym.

I m not surprised to read today that the State of Nebraska filed to revoke the license for Academic Adventures. Looks like they settled and are on probabtion for at least 1 year. We had our daughter enrolled at the other location as an infant and experienced a life safety issue in 2018. We quickly unenrolled our daughter and she now goes somewhere else. We were not part of this complaint or the parties who raised any of the reported allegations. I d probably be less inclined to post this review had the facility actually acted like they cared initially. The director by the last name Zimmerman oversees both locations.

You can easily look up the probation terms and violations on the state website.
