AVOID THIS STORE!!! I had done business with them in the past with good experiences, but today was the complete opposite. My BMW X6M was being serviced so I was driving an older Honda Accord and I was working on a rental property so I wasn't dressed to impress, but I wanted to stop in to inquire about finding a 3-5 ct. pink heart cut diamond for an engagement ring and get an opinion on a pair of 22kt gold Greek granulation dangle earrings with 1/2 ct. C7 (champagne) diamonds. Ed refused to let me in the store. I will never step foot in their store again nor will I recommend them to anyone. I will be purchasing my engagement diamond and matching Rolex's from one of their competitors. Thanks to ABQ Gold & Silver Jewelry Exchange I now know what discrimination feels like. They should be ashamed!

Ed and his team have been taking care of my jewelry needs for over 23 years. Every life event in our family has been shared with him and his wonderful staff through jewelry. Engagements, Weddings, Graduations, Birthdays, and more. Ed and his team are so knowledgeable and they make it easy for anyone to feel good about selecting that special item. I just purchased a Rolex and have an extremely small wrist. Ed and Jackie were so patient and really helped me weigh all of my options for the best fit. I love my watch and am thrilled with my decision. Thank you ABQ Gold & Silver. It is easy to be a loyal customer when there is value in the relationship.

I just had a ring fabricated from a picture of another that I liked, and the results were amazing! Jackie took the time to help my boyfriend and I select a similar but ultimately better design and also to select the perfect solitaire to complete the piece. She was with us every step of the way and listened to our wants and needs. To top it off, the piece was finished earlier than we expected and made a gorgeous Christmas gift. I absolutely love the piece and will definitely be back in the future.

Five years ago my brother suffered from opioid addiction and stole several pieces of jewelry with sentimental value from me. I found a receipt that referenced the amount they paid to him with a date and a reference number from this place. When I took the receipt into the store on the next day which was on a Saturday, they told me they would be able to find my valuables and to come back on Monday. When I returned on Monday I was told my jewelry had been melted down and sent off and there was nothing I could do about it. I know this is a lie. These pieces were beautiful. I am still heartbroken. I was willing to refund their money which was a fraction of their worth. You should wonder whose jewelry you are wearing and how it was aquired.

Ed Karler had been our jeweler for many years. He is amazing! Beautiful jewelry at fair prices. He has custom created pieces for us with ease. He caries a huge assortment of positively unique and gorgeous jewelry. I love to visit the store when I need a special gift for family as I know that if it comes from Ed, it will be a big hit. Jamie, Ed, Emily and Jackie are wonderful. I have known them all for many years, and Jamie (an expert and certified gemologist) just helped my fiance, Jennifer, and I pick out a beautiful engagement ring. Jamie had the ring sized in just a few days and Jennifer is so happy with it. We also bought my wedding band at the same time. My family has taken our watches in for repairs and battery replacements several times and they always come back better than ever. There is nowhere else to go for any jewelry and watch purchases and repairs in the world! You will love working with this amazing group :)

I just decided to pop into this hidden treasure in hopes of finding a loose diamond or a ring to replace my 25th wedding diamond which another jeweler lost. I not only found the perfect ring, I got an amazing deal on a high grade diamond, and the customer service was hands down the best. They have a great selection to choose from, some of the pieces are amazing vintage estate pieces which are breath taking. This place is a must see. I will definitely shop here in the future. Outstanding experience purchasing my 2 carat diamond earrings. Ed and his staff are incredibly knowledgable and helpful. They have a wonderful selection of diamonds and gems, and are quickly able to get what you need if he doesnt have it (he was able to get a matching diamond to make a perfect pair for me). Several friends recommended ABQ Gold and Silver to me - all long time clients of Ed's and ABQ residents. Great expertise and service - utmost integrity and honesty, and great prices (better than anything I shopped on-line or in the ABQ market). We also traded in some gold and silver - very competitive prices.

The best jewelry buying experience that I have ever had. I have purchased my wife's last 3 christmas presents from them and each time I have gotten a unique piece for a more than reasonable price. The staff was also amazing and very knowledgeable I even met with a gemologist for the first time. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get a great value for a one of a kind piece.

I was searching for the perfect engagement ring for my girlfriend and when I stopped by ABQ Gold and Silver I was blown away. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Jamie was very patient and helpful with me and had answers to every question. I was looking for something vintage and had been to a few other places around town, but the selection at ABQ Gold and Silver is by far the best. Don't be fooled by the exterior it's quality of jewely is incomparable!

Fantastic shop!! I recently had some repairs and cleaning done on several pieces of jewelry, and they did a super job! An added bonus was the price for all pieces. Fast Fix charged me more than 4 times as much just for one piece. ABQ Gold and Silver Exchange has gorgeous jewelry for sale too, and the staff is wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and just great!!! I had some jewelry to sell and took it here to get an appraisal. They weren't the lowest price I was offered but also weren't any where close to the highest. SHOP AROUND before you sell anything!

Jackie, Ed and the crew are knowledgeable, their pricing is more than fair, and they are overall just really nice people. We trust them with all of our jewelry and watch needs.

They discriminate and lie. If you go in and they don t like how you look, they will tell you they are not buying. They do not have the huevos to say they don t like they way you look and refuse to do business with you. They are horrible people and judge people based on looks and not facts. Take your business to people who do not discriminate!

My now husband was referred to Ed to create my engagement ring. He had a great experience helping Ed design it and pick out the stones, which makes my ring feel even more special. After he popped the question, we both went to ABQ Gold and Silver Exchange to have our wedding bands made. Yet again Ed and his team did an amazing job helping us to design our custom rings exactly how we wanted them. We both receive compliments on our rings regularly. We continue to go to them every 6 months to have to stones checked and the rings cleaned. We highly recommend Ed and his team to friends and family regularly.

Ed is Rude and unpleasant todo business with if your a woman. He doesn't take you seriously! I was going to buy a 29k diamond but thankfully I didn't. I actual found a j color antique Asscher 4.66ct vs1 clarity old cut diamond for 25,448 thousands on sale from 29k. Try Dover Antique jewelry online avoid taxes all together.

It was 20% below spot on Gold. Man that work's there was suggesting the "gold market he was looking at was the most up to the market at that time. Okay I guess it's a 2 to 6 millisecond difference. And in the end quoted 20% below spot on Hold.. That's more than a credit card would few a business anywhere...and is on par with most crappy credit card rates.

This is my go to place for gifts for my wife and mother. Everything that I have purchased from ABQ Gold and Silver exchange has been excellent quality and VERY fairly priced. Their selection is incredible and I have always enjoyed dealing with the staff. They remember the pieces that I have bought in the past and always try to suggest things that go together and accentuate the prior purchases. I highly recommend at least going in and having a look, but I should warn you that every time I do that, my wife gets a new necklace, bracelet, or pair of earrings.

The staff was friendly, professional, and didn't try to take advantage of me when I went it to sell some jewelry. I will definitely do business with them again and can't recommend them enough if you have jewelry pieces to sell.

We had a few pieces of jewelry and decided to visit ABQ Gold and Silver. Thinking we had mostly costume jewelry and very little gold or silver, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that just one of the pieces was worth phenomenally more than we could imagine. Our thanks to Ed for his professionalism and great customer service. The store itself has a nice layout and the displays are gorgeous. 'So grateful to have visited.

One of our advocates donated their jewelry to our non-profit animal rescue organization, "Prairie Dog Pals," in advance of our annual garage sale. I had dreaded doing what I though would be a joyless, but necessary errand. Ed made the whole exchange peaceful and easy. It was very reassuring to feel confident that our donor was able to generate the best possible value for her generosity. We will definitely come back!

We have recently moved into the area and in unpacking items in our new house found that a lot of things we had were not being used much anymore. Children didn't want them, too old fashioned I guess. So we decided to take the silver items to ABQ Gold and Silver Exchange and met Jackie, who was delightful and very helpful. The items were checked in front of us by her and some were not of interest to her but she gave us an address where we might dispose of them.We felt that the amount we were offered was very fair and had a delightful time spent with Jackie even had my wife's diamond ring cleaned and appraised for free. We are planning on returning with a few more items we didn't realize had value that Jackie mentioned she might be interested in.

We've been buying jewelry from Ed for over 30 years. In fact, he made my wedding ring in 1986. It was time for an update and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. Jackie helped me through tons of questions which led to using the original elements of my ring to make stunning update that I will hopefully wear 30 more years.
