I give it an average experience the dim sum was a little bit on the pricey side where I had gotten to dim sum Dishes for $11. The actual Chinese food was pretty average thought it was pricey for White Plains New York the lobster was $30 each for a pound and a half lobster

The BEST place for dim sum in Westchester! Aberdeen never disappoints the food and service are consistently fantastic. Everything from shrimp dumplings and baked custard buns to soup dumplings ( juicy buns ) and sesame balls is delicious. If you re going on the weekend, try to get there before 11am opening time. There s always a line out the door!

Ricky and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. I ve been eating here with my family for over 10 years, and we keep coming back time after time!

High quality, authentically prepared dinner dishes, with large portions. Courteous, helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable seating and pleasing decor. Willing to discuss and make adjustments for diners with special dietary needs. And the dim sum is the real (sumptuous) deal. This is a 5 star restaurant anyplace in the country -- NYC, San Francisco, you name it!

Pretty pricey compared to usual dim sum places but they're in a hotel in Westchester so they probably pay more rent. Food was decent, so was the service. Not the best but I'd come back. Limited options on Sundays. Expect about an hour wait around lunchtime.

Absolute garbage. Service was abysmal. We had a table of 5 and all 5 entrees came out separately with 30 minutes between the appearance of the first and the last entrees. Food was greasy, overly salty, and left 3 of us with stomach issues culminating in vomiting. Spending the morning cleaning carpeting with a wet vac.

Food was delicious especially the Peking duck w. Steam buns & stir fry chives with the duck meat from Peking duck. Walnut shrimp very good. Steamed chicken with Chinese mushroom & ham was delicious & healthy. Will definitely return.

Yay!

Great dim sum lunch! Dinners and weekends can be crowded, or so I am told, but a midweek lunch is a great time to go. Park in the garage and walk in to the hotel, and the entrance is just to your right.

Dim sum is fantastic ..... But go early because later in the day, dimsum seems a little less fresg... Lines are long on Sunday.... Overall there is nothing like it near by. You would have to be in NYC to get the quality and service.... It's the real thing .

Clean and quick service

Good food, but not great for quick lunches.

Good food, but not great for quick lunches.

Tried the pork shumain, roast pork bun, shrimp rolls, spring rolls, chicken dumplings. They were all great. The chive dumpling can be skipped, it was very hard.

They pass by the tables with carts of dimsum, and you can pick which ones you want. However, we waited over an hour for chicken dumplings to arrive.

The restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel, and easy to miss from outside.

Food was ok. The service was minimum, let the choose, bring the food, bring teh bill, nothing more. After the meal I received the bill which was 77.65. I gave 100 to the guy and asked for 15 USD back, so he can get 85 USD - so 7.35 tip. The guy came and said that the tip is too low and he gives me all money back so I can give him bigger tip. Ok. This was my first day in US and I didnt know that in NY 15-20% is a normal tip. Where I come from around 10% is good and nothing happens if you give no tip.I have never met the waiter who asked for bigger tip. I felt bad.
So you can go there if you like when waiter tells you how big tip you should give him.

Expect a long wait. We waited 45 minutes but as soon as we sat in our table, we were bombarded with all kinds of dim sum. My 8 and 13 year old son loved it. Cantonese style is the best. This is a 45 minute ride from home but we will surely comeback.

Best dim sum in the area by far ! Make a reservation for weekend visits or plan for a long wait. Chicken & pork shumau are terrific. Tea dumplings amazing. We also order a 1/4 portion of duck most visits.

nice service, but very bland food. works in a pinch of you're craving dim sum, but take the extra time to get to brooklyn, chinatown (or even Manhattan) for quality dim sum dishes

very expensive compared to chinatown prices; I'd rather my money go towards good food, than good service and bad food

The best authentic Cantonese restaurant in the area. This is a real deal so don't ask for commercialized fast food. Talk to 'Ricky' if you not sure what to order. China Town or Flushing will be the next closest area you can get these type of authentic Chinese food.

Been coming here for years! Dim Sum is always fabulous, and we always look forward to the next time we can visit!
The food is always amazing, and gratifying.
Recommend the stuffed pepper, absolute favorite item!
Worth the drive from Danbury!!

I came here on a Saturday early evening I'll 5:30 with seven other people, we did a date night. The place was not very busy they seated us immediately as we had a reservation as well. They were very nice but not pushy like some other Asian restaurants can be (sorry to say). The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and hot nothing was greasy or oily nothing was over seasoned or under seasoned. They didn't have the dim sum cart going around however we did have that dim sum table that spins in the middle that you put all the dishes which is great for sharing for a large party that I had. We ordered everything from the peaking duck which was amazing to the fried rice. we ordered close to 12 different dishes and we loved it all. Also the prices were great for those 12 dishes plus drinks our bill came to maybe 250. We all can't wait to go back there highly recommend.

The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. Service is a bit spotty. If you can forge a "relatiobship" with a server they'll come to you every time other then that it's like waving down a cab

Best dim sum outside of Flushing's Chinatown. The restaurant has a full menu, but their dim sum lunch is what I travel 45 minutes for. Fresh rice rolls, har gow, shumai, pork buns, and so many more.

Very nice classic Cantonese restaurant located within a hotel. Extensive menu with some unusual options. We had excellent hot and sour soup and a mixed fried seafood entree. Casual dress ok but also fancy enough for an occasion.

Amazing classic white cloth Cantonese dim sum restaurant arguably better than most places in the city. Classic dimsum brought to you in carts. Dinner is even better with great fish dishes like their homestyle fish fillet with ginger and green beans or their fish casserole with tofu. Their salt and pepper squid and eggplant in garlic sauce are my favorites.

Edit: Have eaten at Aberdeen many times subsequently and have not had a bad meal. Always have friendly staff and food is always great.

Wonderful dishes, well prepared flavor -- try the specials. Astounding. Dim sum is good also. But dinner is the best. One of our favorite restaurants in all of Westchester. Come half an hour early and muscle your way past all the reserved tables. Thats how how our knowledgeable local host friends got us into this superb alternative Christmas family lunch. Best dim sum in this locality.
