Love the place. Our most frequented restraint. Everything is home cooked. Servings are generous. The atmosphere is old town and sweet. Abby's can get real busy at times so cook time slows down. Abby's is not "fast food" and has been worth the wait on those busy days. Easy parking. Great service, good people. We Love the place

This place got a ton of good reviews. I'm not sure how. Super long wait when there were only a few people there. Sourdough pancakes (which I was so looking forward to) were uncooked in the entire center portion, Liquid goo. Reindeer sausage...1/2 a very small tough piece. That was $15. A piece of toast (1) was $2.50. Had to ask for coffee refills even though it was clear they were empty. Not sure what happened between my visit and others ...

Great place to grab some delicious food! Hours vary from summer to winter so be sure to double check. Service was awesome, everyone was very friendly, they even stayed open late to accommodate us!

Several changes to menu choices since the restaurant reopened. Some Ingredients deleted. The establishment has lost the personal local fingerprint. Menu has obviously taken names of people off signature items. Most noticeable is all the staff which gave it a "home" feel are gone. Server on the cell phone. The cook was in shorts. We knew nobody. The new staff is nowhere near as personal or professional. Sad, we loved this place. It stood apart. A throwback to the old days. No longer.

Awesome people, great food, reasonable prices and happy uplifting atmosphere. I love this cute little place and I will definitely be going here more. The food is hot and fresh (Never cold), the coffee taste better than most places, the service is awesome and the staff are friendly. I will happily give Abby's Home Cooking a 5 star rating.

Nice people and wait staff, however we ordered the halibut and chicken fried steak... The portion of halibut was small and tasted like it was from a freezer and then deep fried. The chicken fried steak, probably the same, but the gravy was decent. Prices for the three of us to eat was ridiculous! $ 61.00 I can go to Anchorage and eat good food for that price. Home cooking does not come from a freezer and go to a fryer.

Comfort food at it's best.

Comfort food at it's best.
This little diner is next to a gas station and isn't easy to see from the road when driving by.
I didn't know it was there until someone in the neighborhood told me.
What an unexpected little yummy find.
From a simple grilled cheese to meatloaf.
Quaint and cute. Good home cooking.
