Another mythical and therefore unmissable place in London, the Abbey Road Street studio and the famous pedestrian crossing by the Beatles for the cover of their album "Abbey Road".
The place is steeped in history and emotions, as evidenced by the many love marks left on the walls surrounding the studio and shop, where you will find souvenirs for all budgets (records, t-shirts, picks, mug, etc.). All you need is love

It was a real thrill for me to see, even if from the outside, the legendary Abbey Road Studios and take the pedestrian crossing made famous by the cover of the Beatles Abbey Road Album. The biggest in the world have recorded memorable pieces here. Not to be missed!

An iconic site for lovers of The Beatles, a must see. It is difficult to take a picture without someone appearing in the background crossing the crosswalk imitating the mythical album cover. Although it is only a zebra crossing, it is worth visiting. There is a 24 hour camera working that allows you to see it later on the internet. The study fence is full of phrases and signatures of the people who are going to take the photo.

Nostalgic, however you can't just go in and look around. Small gift shop with Beatles mugs and other stuff. Be careful crossing Abby Road it's a little harder than people think and I kept forgetting to look right.

Good place. But please don't pose on the zebra crossing. It's just a nightmare for drivers and people who live nearby. Also it's not even the original crossing that the beatles walked across!

The original crossing that featured on the Abbey Road cover 41 years ago was reportedly moved by several yards to its current position in the 1970s.

Well, I just walked by like a million other people on or after the Abbey Road album anniversary. I was going to buy a box set cd at the Abbey Road store...but they were closed for some reason. A sign said be back at 4. It was noon. :-/ Anyhow, a piece of music history!

The place the Beatles recorded. There is plaque on the wall saying that within the gates of the studio except you get shooed away when you step one foot in the parking lot. A real let down when you go there as a tourist to check out why this studio is famous only to be shunned. Beatles album cover is taken right in front of the studio.

What a fabulous experience recording at the studios with the Rock Choir, where many famous people have been before us. Loved seeing the pictures on the wall and all the staff made us feel so special

I was at crossing that's on the album cover, to my left was a wall with people's writing all the way down the road. Hard to see words except BEATLES and of course the building, used panoramic view to check it out then took a little drive. Poor man's way to see the world :-)

Been in Abbey Road Studios many times.
My Mum and Dad worked there in the 1950's and my Mum had previously won a scholarship to the Guildhall School of music and George Martin was in the same year as her. I used to have a lot of friends work there (now retired) and did a bit of work for them fixing their outboard equipment like Lexicons and stuff. They have a fantastic vintage Microphone collection as they of course used to own Olympic Studios in Barnes. I am lucky been in Studio 2 many times and all the other studios and a great experience seeing some of the vintage equipment The Beatles recorded on so I love Abbey Road Studios so much personal history there.
