Great experience for the whole family. They got great guides and keep it fun and entertaining the whole trip. Our guide Bret was great with my 7 yr old daughter and kept us all in the boat.

Our group had a great time today on the river! Very well organized and safe and our Brandon did a fantastic job, check them out!

A Wanderlust Adventure is the complete package! From top-to-bottom Wanderlust employees provide a professional, safe, and fun environment for everyone. Some friends and I were looking for an adrenaline rush on the Poudre River and Wanderlust socked it to us. Weeks later, my parents wanted to give the rapids a go, they were looking for a little less excitement and Wanderlust provided a trip they won t soon forget. I recommend A Wanderlust Adventure to all who are looking to try their hand at whitewater rafting.

This was the best adventure to end my senior graduation trip!! Our guide Will was amazing and followed through on making us the FUN raft. I don't remember the last time I screamed and laughed together this much. Definitely got the excitement I was looking for and if I come back I want to do it again. Thanks Will and Wanderlust!!

From start to finish Bob and his crew were amazing. As a person that has a fear of water and falling out of the raft I felt safe and educated all through-out the trip. I had a blast for once without having to worry or freeze. I feel like I would defintiely recommend A Wanderlust as a premier whitewater rafting company and I would raft with these guys againa and again!

Had a great time with Brett as our guide! Water was very cold. I wouldn't suggest jumping in.

Went on the 2 pm rafting excursion on the intermediate and advanced (level III and IV) with water levels at about 3 ft or so. Our guide/instructor/boat captain/row master was Trigg. We got really lucky and had a fun and adventurous boat team, (as I only went with one other person) we did spins down the river, went backwards and just a generally good crew (if that is not your thing then just tell the guide and they wont do it.) I also like learning about the area a little and Trigg gave us some information about the river, the area, and other fun facts. Basically an adventure tour guide! Which I greatly enjoyed. All in all you should check out Wanderlust Adventure if you are in the area and ask for TRIGG!

On a side note: The raft in front of us had two people fall out (after watching the video, it looked like they were not locked in properly as they simply slipped out). One was able to be pulled back on right away, and the second was swiftly rescued after flowing down the rapid. It is kind of a double security as they have a photographer traveling along the route to take photos and videos of the rapids, so on the level four (i think) rapids there was the photographer who also doubled as secondary rescue, which is nice.

Capt. Brett was a great and knowledgeable guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our first rafting experience! Will be going again!

My first time rafting with Wanderlust was as a Cheley camper back in 2002. I would go every summer with camp and have now introduced my husband and his family to this amazing crew! Good times, great memories, and plenty of Poudre for everyone!!!

Rafting with A Wanderlust was an awesome experience! I felt safe the entire time and there was never a dull moment- I will definitely be back!

BEST 2 VACATIONS EVER! The first time we went rafting we actually went twice, the second time just hours before our flight home. I was nervous the first time, (I was 58 years old and had no idea what I was getting into) but the guides were excellent. They put us at ease and made the trip extremely enjoyable! We went back a couple years later and did the trip again. It, too, was a wonderful experience! Every one of the guides were experienced and competent. They interacted well with the rafters, making both trips memorable!!
If you are worried about being too old or too young, DON'T! I am now 64 and will be going back this summer. There are different levels of fun, a taste of whitewater and the blast of whitewater. You choose which you want. I highly recommend this experience for anyone interested in outdoor activities!

Great staff and had a great time overall. Chose them because they would allow our 7 yr old to go. She had a blast as did our 13 yr old on the taste of whitewater. Would definitely recommend them

The majority of our group had never gone white water rafting before and we had a blast. We did an easier route and can t wait to try harder ones in the future. Our guide, Brandon, made the experience even better - he was hilarious, engaging and led us super well!!

Fun activity for the family. Tour guides were super awesome and knowledgable, decent prices for the equipment and well worth it for the whole experience. Doesnt require any skills or exessive physical activity because the whole group works together and the guides are really good at making sure everyone is safe and having fun. Small children and even grandparents were participating. It was a beautiful ride.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very organized. We had a great adventure thanks to their knowledge of rafting and the river. Can't wait to go back.

The water low and slow. Barely moved. Called it and charged for the blast. Guide kept taking lines that got us stuck on rocks. Guide who probably has done it 1000 times took us thru a chute backwards with a huge rock that sticks out and likely steered me (the lucky chosen one) into from behind. Hard. Glad it wasn t my son. Guides seemed to think it was funny. Consequently, I do not recommend.

Took great care of us on our rafting excursion. Can't wait to get back!!

Great experience! Our guide Trigg was phenomenal! In fact he was a big part of why it was so great. He was knowledgeable and experienced but was very personable! I would highly recommend this company and Trigg as a guide!

My husband and I took our children whitewater rafting through Wanderlust Adventure on a recent trip to Colorado. Each child has said this was their favorite part of our whole trip. There were six of us total, our children ranging from 7 to 19 and they all enjoyed it. It was great to find an activity that gave just as much pleasure to the oldest as the youngest.
Our guide, Nick, was great and very knowledgeable of the river. Even through the rapids we always felt like we were safe and in good hands.
The only complaint I would have, and it's really more of an inconvenience, is that we had to pull our boat out of the river halfway through, reload it to the buses. Drive past a really bad part of the river, then unload again. This isn't the fault of the company in any way, but I'm adding it here, just so you know it will happen. Be prepared to help load and unload boats twice. There is not enough staff for them to do it alone.
Another thing to know and note ahead of time is they have a photographer who will be at the side of the river during several parts of the trip, making videos and taking pictures. I felt their photography was better than other rafting experiences I've done it the past, because the photographer moved along the river and captured many different rapids. You can buy the entire digital set of your pictures plus videos (we received 19 pictures and 2 videos) for $50. I've had to pay twice as much for half the pictures and no videos at other Whitewater Rafting places. Trust me, you want to buy the pictures! They are wonderful memories to cherish forever!
I would definitely recommend Wanderlust Adventures to anyone visiting this area of Colorado! It did not disappoint!

Wanderlust Adventure Rafting located in Laporte is the closest rafting company you'll find to Estes Park and the only company located next to a restaurant which was great after the trip. They are absolutely the most caring people you'll ever go rafting with on the Poudre River. I was nervous as it was my first time going rafting and they made sure I was safe and warm. I went on the Taste trip which is the beginner and I wanted to do even more so I'd recommend their more advanced Blast for anyone who's up for the challenge. They give a safety talk to each trip and the guides are so funny and comforting. I will go rafting with them every time I visit the Northern Colorado area!

Fantastic day white water rafting on the Poudre River! What a thrilling adventure, and the scenery was so beautiful. We had an awesome guide named Derek. He was born to be a river guide. He had such a great personality and was able to instruct us very easily. Derek's job was to steer us, and I was amazed how he could read the water flow and get us exactly where we needed to be. The water was chilly -- 35 degrees -- so I was glad to suit up with a wet suit and booties. They provided fleece pullovers and splash jackets too, so we never got cold. Such an amazing time -- I want to do it again before we leave!

An incredible experience. Very well organized with an outstanding staff. Well maintained equipment and nice wetsuits/pullover fleece. Mike, our river guide, was very professional, experienced, and knowledgeable on all things rafting. He also had a ton of funny stories that kept us all laughing and entertained. Great mountain views and just overall a fantastic rafting trip.

My family and I had a great experience here! The trip was a fun adventure and was definitely something different to try out on our trip. We had Brandon as our guide and he was great, very genuine and funny. I highly recommend it!

I have been on 4 or 5 trips with Wanderlust over the years. The guides have always been professional, competent and emphasized safety. The process was streamlined and efficient.
We had six adults and five kids under 12. Kudos to Paul, Dakota and Derek for making it a fun, exciting, safe and informative day. Highly recommended.

This is the second trip we have taken with Wanderlust. Such a blast! Our guide for this trip was Dakota. Great personality, and he did a fantastic job with my family. I would suggest having tip jars or something of that nature as we couldn't find Dakota when we made it back to our wallets, and if he has a Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal account he should get ahold of us as he certainly deserved our gratuity.

The only thing I would suggest is there be water provided half way. It's a long time to be in the sun in Colorado without staying hydrated.

First time in Colorado, first time rafting and we couldn't have had a better experience. Kylie was our guide and she was awesome, very friendly and made the trip a safe and fun ride. Rafts and equipment were clean and the whole organization was well organized. When we are back in Colorado we will be making another reservation with Wanderlust.

These guys were awesome. Connor was our guide and he made our rafting trip so much fun. The river was low but we still had a blast. Wish we had more time to do it again, but next time we are in Colorado this is a must stop.

I have been rafting with A Wanderlust Adventure since 1999 on trips with my family and trip with ten to 25 college student groups. AWA is simply the best run, most professional and experienced rafting company on one of the key destination rafting rivers in North America. I don't raft with anyone else.

We rafted The Blast of Whitewater today with Diego! He was an awesome guide! A Wanderlust is a really helpful outfitter too. I'm a solo traveler and some rafting companies aren't allowing parties to combine right now, but A Wanderlust asked a group of 3 if I could join them and they let me go on the trip with them. A Wanderlust was firm, but kind about all the safety measures. We wore masks and stayed distant when possible.
The Poudre River is running pretty well right now even for late June. There were some shallow spots, but Diego maneuvered thru them easily. This was definitely a fun river to raft. Would recommend for sure!!

This was my first taste of white water rafting and it was amazing. I am generally a huge chicken when it comes to things like this, but our guide Lucas was awesome. Highly recommend this team!

Such a great family experience. We ranged in age from 7-70 & we loved it! Great guide, but don t be gullible & get a left handed paddle.

We went on a "Taste" rafting tour with Taylor and it was amazing! The rapids were challenging yet doable and our guide made it very clear she knew what she was doing. We had two young kids with us (both under 10) and this was a perfect rafting trip for them. At one point, one of the kids flew out of the boat, but our guide acted quickly and calmly and before any of us knew it, our kiddo was back safely in the boat. 10/10 to Taylor! Throughout the entire trip, our guide would prepare us before we got to any rapids and pointed out all the scenic sights along the way. This is a great introductory trip for anyone looking to try out whitewater rafting (kids included).

Amazing Guides and Tons of Fun
I went on a trip with this company on 7/24/18 with 3 other people. We had an amazing time! It was well organized and went on time and very smooth. The whole crew was incredible. We had Cole as the guide on our boat and he was absolutely AMAZING and made our time even more fun! It rained on us for part of the trip but it has no affect on the amount of fun we had. I would definitely recommend this company! We did level 2 & 3 rapids since it was our first time rafting but I am already planning on coming back to this company to do level 3 & 4 rapids. Every guide we met was fun and happy to be doing their job. I can t wait to go rafting with this company again!!!!

The workers at Wanderlust were very understanding of my brother with autism. He didn't want to do it after a short while and we worked it all out. Very fun, great people, and nice pictures.

We did the Taste of Whitewater rafting trip and enjoyed it a lot. The staff were very nice and helpful and our guide was great. It's really nice that fleeces and jackets are available to wear and come with the package, because the water can be pretty cold. I would do this again, but would definitely do the longer trips with Class IV rapids.

I've been down the Poudre many times with this gang and they are great!! I was quite nervous before my very frst trip because of some old war trauma, but Bob put me and my whole family at ease, and we loved it. Can't wait to do it again!

This was by far one of the best parts of our trip. The staff is awesome and so nice! Did the beginners/intermediate since I don t know how to swim which was still very enjoyable a few drops which were not too bad but the whole trip down the river amazing!! Went this past Sunday on a summer day which should have been warm. We are from Texas so when it was cold, rainy, and even hailed while we were on the river it was still Awesome!! Only reason giving a 4 star is because we got wet suits which is a must to avoid freezing with the river water but they were not dried correctly so they had a smell so did the helmets. Got the water shoes trusting they are sanitized daily and throughly also a must. But overall best time ever

It was no nonsense, no wasting my time, no waiting for rafts ahead of you to get through the rapids, just a great time. Advanced trip was a steady dose of rapids and a lot of getting wet! Our guide Ellie was great. Listen to the website when they say no need to show up prior to your scheduled time. We were early (and excited) and waiting was the hardest part. They take great care of you and we had so much fun on our girl's trip. The "Taste" was fun and it left us all wanting more! My grandma, my mom, my 2 older sisters and I went and it was amazing. I think mext time we will all do the "Blast" (including my 70ish year old grandma).
