A Thousand Words Photography Review

My now wife and I heard about 1000 words photography through the venue we used for our wedding as they are a preferred vendor there. Upon meeting Jim we were immediately comfortable and felt like we had one less thing to worry about. We had a few questions on how the whole process went from beginning to end and he was very informative and made everything crystal clear. Jim told us that the person doing our engagement shoot would also be doing our wedding (which was Jim himself) so he was able to get to know us as a couple before the big day and know what we really want for pictures. The day of our wedding went by faster than we would have liked but having a photographer that knows what you want and truly cares how you are being taken care of makes the day that much easier. I can only give them 5 stars but would love to give more. I can t begin to recommend them enough to everyone we know and we will definitely be using them again in the future!

I wouldn't recommend this photographer. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. As a fellow business owner, integrity and doing right by your client are staples of a good business. This photographer took our money, never performed an engagement shoot or the wedding and refused to issue a refund due to out wedding being canceled during a global pandemic. They are forcing us to go through small claims court to seek a refund after having an interest free loan on our money for over a year. This company has caused financial as well as emotional strain for my family and I. My hope is so save the next person from trusting them with their business, or better yet for A Thousand Words Photography to learn from this mistake and never puts another client though this.

They are fantastic! They were very responsive, and made changing our date due to COVID easy. The included engagement shoot was easy and they brought the photo book with them for guests to sign at the wedding! It was nice not having to keep track of it and have them make and bring it. They made getting the photos easy to download and share with family. They also had a fantastic personality that keep us laughing and enjoying the entire photoshoot. The photos I received were spectacular! They knew our DJ as well, and helped the DJ with some of the interactive games we planned. It was so stress free to have them work so closely with the DJ, and between the DJ and photographers, they always knew the next steps, where we should be, and how to accomplish everything we wanted on our wedding night. I hope to use them in the future for our newborn photoshoot! I cannot recommend them enough! They are well work the cost, they were the most professional photographers we talked to, and I am so glad we hired them!
